I picked up an XPro-1 for $600 a couple years back, as my first camera. It's been amazing to use. I'd like to move to an X-H2S eventually, or the X-Pro3 if one comes up. One is the modern implementation of Fuji's technology, and the other is this "analog" experience I can't get enough of.

I don't het the OVF halte. It's a great feature but you do have to know how to shoot the xpro. If you stick to the screen, that will never happen.

I think you missed the point with Optica view finder since camera is NOT range finder (as Contax G1/2 is also not the one). OVF works perfectly with a AF lenses. In the manual focus mode it require a switch to the EVF and frame does move (when using AF lens) when shutter is pressed half way. X-pro 2 and x-pro 3 do have extra electronic patch when using manual mode and pro-3 can benefit from latest voigtlander lenses where is working pretty much as on RF.

I HATE THAT PEOPLE SAY THE OVF ISN'T ACCURATE...OR IT'S NOT A TRUE RANGEFINDER CAMERA! I HAVE NO ISSUES FRAMING UP MY SHOTS USING THE OVF!! PEOPLE NEED TO LEARN THE CAMERA AND THE LENS YOU PUT ON IT... THEN UNDERSTAND WHERE THE PHOTO WILL LINE UP BASED ON THE LENS YOU PUT ON IT. ONCE YOU'VE MASTERED THAT FOR THAT PATICULAR LENS, IT'S SO EASY TO KNOW WHERE THE LINES WILL CHOP OFF! FOCUSING... ISN'T AN ISSUE EITHER FOR ME!!! I LOVE MY XPRO1!💯💯💯

I agree the framing is fairly accurate as you can display the frame lines as I showed. I'm assuming you have no problem focusing because you're using lenses that communicate with the camera that show the focus distance, but otherwise it's impossible to manually focus unless you're skilled at zone focusing. It also still isn't a true rangefinder as it doesn't find range. It is a "rangefinder-style" camera ;)
Still doesn't disregard the fact that this is my favorite mirrorless photo camera thus far. Thanks for watching and commenting!

The OVF is a gimmick as far as I am concerned. The EVF works great.
