Kinda shocked we don't see at least one a month with a little animal added to it just because "Hey...we're giving this an animal color name. If you could pop a little critter here to match, Trogly will buy it instantly" 😁
I would totally buy en es339 model like that for under $2k. First new Gibson model that caught my attention in many years. Do it gibson! And don’t screw it up! Leave it like this.
Seriously, for this priceless free advertising you supply, you should get some kinda 'perks' from Gibby. Not necessarily directly in $$. They should at least let you order truly custom 'made to measure' items, true Trogly ONE OFF'S.
@@stkbkr1 the love .. and the MONEY. He's amassed a huuuge collection now, it's not paid for, with love. I highly doubt his grocery job would've have financed any of this.

That color on the 1960 standard is great..I would like to see one that has this maroon burst into an oxblood that has a very fine metal flake .the darkest part of the blood around the perimeter and transitioning to that ruby red.
Incredible! Gibson is a great company. I just needs to maintain their quality control. Come out with some great products for their base products and raise the bar.
Hi trogly Been watching your show for awhile…. What about Warren Haynes .. guitars He plays 99% Gibson guitars you really should check it out , maybe grab one of his models IDE like to see that’s thx bro .j Matt player Oho I have your cream 1984 Explorer… lol Bought it new ..
I think single Pickup Guitars are becoming more relevant, as in the age of Modelers, they are easier to dial in and produce more consistent results when switching Presets. They also avoid phasing issues that can sometimes occur on multiple Pickup wiring and Switch configurations. YMMV
The wiring on that 339 seems impossible. I know he talks about wiring through the pickup cavity and that makes sense. What doesn't make sense is... How does the pot mount. Normally you would mount it too a plate on the front or from the back of the top. You would somehow need access to the back of something to push the pot through the top and then the nut and knob on the top surface.
Have you seen a hootenanny strap button on a Fender bass guitar's headstock. Fender offered them for a while, and i think you can get them from the factory on some vintage basses.
I love the Les Paul headstock without the Les Paul design on it. One of the reasons I love the greeny is because it looks so cool with just a plain black headstock , other than the Gibson logo of course
I'm kind of curious about that 339. I just realized the Dirty Cherry Studio Refinish I picked up in January as a result if watching a guitar hunting episode has coil splitting. I don't know how I missed that . But it's a welcome surprise. I could see the Metallic Mantis with a burst finish. I cant believe you missed the stinger on that blue one before you went on to the demo shop.
339 looks really cool with that sparkle green, junior pickguard and one knob. But missing a neck pup in a semi hollow is a bit like pouring half your pop out of the can before you drink it.
Ithink they would need to lower the price of the Junior to slot that in and make sense, And at this point. Gibson is not interested in lowering prices of anything
Have you been paying attention to the point on the cutaway? They’ve varied MASSIVELY just in this video alone. Some are “pointier” than others. I also noticed a pretty big difference on the shape of the “ears” on the ES models.
Why are you always slamming triburst ? Triburst is one of the coolest tops out there. And that one is the best looking one. Yet you liked that ugly 339. Funny..
I've been looking for this comment forever. I'm an old guy and I have always hated bursts. Sunburst guitars I think they look old fashioned. When I was young and starting that's all we had and I thought they looked like 1950s antiques. The 339 is amazing looking to me. The first 335 style guitar I wanted to buy. Lol. We are mirrored on this one
Thinking Custom Shop should do say 🤔5/10 "Trogly" versions per month ?.. that Trog gets his way with the subtle details.. would make some truly unique offerings..just my two cents..Thanks Trogly!
Kinda shocked we don't see at least one a month with a little animal added to it just because "Hey...we're giving this an animal color name. If you could pop a little critter here to match, Trogly will buy it instantly" 😁
I dig the “339 Junior”. Could absolutely see it going into production. Would love to see some different colors.
I definitey like that blue ES 335. it's premium without being too crazy.
Maybe bring the price point down to $999. There’s still a few of us working people who might want to take a Gibson for a spin.
I think there’s too much crossover with the Epiphone pricing.
That first ES-339 should have a P90.
Fire burst and green mantis Les Paul, both get my vote for president.
I would totally buy en es339 model like that for under $2k. First new Gibson model that caught my attention in many years. Do it gibson! And don’t screw it up! Leave it like this.
Same, this is the first new Gibson model or 335 style guitar I've ever wanted to buy. I think it's amazing looking.
Seriously, for this priceless free advertising you supply, you should get some kinda 'perks' from Gibby.

Austin is a pro, he does it for the love of doing it, I think.

Some viewers once posted, he got very lucky with his grandma’s heritage, don’t know if threats true (?)
Agreed!!
Why is the CS 401337 serial number super cool? 😳
Lol, I just came down into the comments wondering the same exact thing.

"Lets put it into production!!!!! Buuuuuuuut, lets remove half of what makes it unique." Negative, Trogly, I dont agree
Just making it affordable. That's positive thinking.
I love the 339 as well. I like the standard models already, but that mod is killer!
They should have more neck through models so the one pickup versions don’t need tenon covers!
Agree. ESP did it with the Weinman, so a neck through semi hollow is possible

Of course it should go into production......it's blue, your favorite color!
1950s Les Paul in the faded Pelham Blue with uncovered pickups and cream plastics was a favorite as well as the Les Paul Modern in Cobalt Blue
i dont even like gibsons really. i mean i do i guess but gimmie an ESP any day.
but i still watch trogly every day.
Fireblast perimeter wins it for me. I love the thin subtle black edge. Like a thick binding. It really makes the red and orange colors pop.
Loved the two Pelham Blue LP's , the 54' Custom , and the Dark Bourbon LP ...Thanks Trogly !
Hi trogly
Been watching your show for awhile….
What about
Warren Haynes .. guitars
He plays 99% Gibson guitars you really should check it out , maybe grab one of his models
IDE like to see that’s thx bro .j Matt player
Oho
I have your cream 1984

I wish gibson or atleast epiphone would revive the melody maker sg dual pickups I would love to own one that doesn't break bank

Interesting, I much prefer perimeter bursts but like teardrops when the contrast isn’t too strong.
you mentioned a 2000 price tag. i dont think gibson is interested in selling anything in that price range to be honest!!!
Im not a fan of the 339, but this junior one looks killer!
The lipstick red SG looks like the guitar hero guitar.
I got the teal shark explorer in the sale last week it’s awesome 😎
ZORAK on the Mantis Metallic Custom
They wired it under the pickguard.
nope
Just looks like the studio to me
This guitar gives me Tom Delonge vibes
Mod Shop knocks it out of the park this week!
Nobody is buying a 339. Nobody…
Best mod shop week in a long time
Gibson's new motto. Less is more. Les Pauls cost even MORE than ever. Buy now! All that glitters is gold. Looks are everything.

VOS Pelham Custom is the winner, for me. Would love to see reiss. LP ES in that finish. Can't wait for the Starr Junior review. :>)
The 339 is awesome.
It drives me nuts when I see a beautiful LP with a nice top, and a pickguard covering up some of that beauty...
That beautiful Modern Cobalt looks like a deep, mysteriously dark, calm sea ' from the tail piece photo.
Man I do not like Pelham Blue at all, but that Pelham with the cream plastics, and then that faded Pelham Custom, I love those.
339 looks really cool with that sparkle green, junior pickguard and one knob. But missing a neck pup in a semi hollow is a bit like pouring half your pop out of the can before you drink it.

Metallic Pelham! Now this is my favorite from this week! 7:18
Howdy all!! A lot of nice LP's this week. Love the green one and the blue ones.
Looks green to me
That's a very ELITE serial number 😉
schtrange
Tom Delonge vibe!!!
11:37 whats so cool about this serial number?
That guitar gives you 1337 5ki11z.
Howdy
That mantis les Paul was sick but that price tag 😮
Some staining or glue on the inlays just for fun. 🤪
Have you been paying attention to the point on the cutaway? They’ve varied MASSIVELY just in this video alone. Some are “pointier” than others. I also noticed a pretty big difference on the shape of the “ears” on the ES models.
They vary. Always have.

exactly what is going on with the neck at 13:14?
Fender Gretsch Stratocaster
Nothing beats the Rhino
It's a CS model. It'll NEVER be $2K.
I’m taking production level
✌️

Z is for late
Coksh! Arrar! Goggsh!
Imagine a purple Lamborghini Diablo SV Les Paul, I think one of those would be cool at the mod collection
I don't get the price of a gibson es335 because they just seem cheap with the plywood top and stuff
Guìtar manufacturing is labour intensive. You obviously have not seen a 335 or held one.
❤😊
