Ooh my God, Hunter claims that hyrox athletes would beat crossfitters.... then why aren't they going after the money that's in crossfit? All they have to do is join the open. This dude is totally deluded. I wonder if he'd get through regionals?
He didn’t qualify for the games, but do not sleep on Hyrox. It appeals to the masses with no “high skill, low meaning” events like handstand walking. Handstand walking means absolutely nothing when it comes to being fit. Hyrox could actually take over as the “sport of everyone” since everyone can do it.
Hunter m got a free ticket to the CrossFit games a couple years back and didn’t make it past day 1. And he’s super fit. Elite CrossFit athletes are on another level
Seriously…
Is this a spoof?
This felt like watching a documentary about the XFL, except only if the XFL was claiming to be unique and having invented the sport of football.
You know CrossFit right? Is it a forbidden word or something?
Wow, he looks healthier than Greg Glassman!
I’m coming for you.
Know I train every day.
I use more weight than the required
I’m big
I’m coming
You will know my name
lol Hyrox is awesome but Rugby players are the most well-rounded athletes. They would dominate this sport!
Hunter McIntyre couldn’t hack it in CrossFit so he had to jump on something so he could be at “the top”
Yeah, no. I'm going for my first Hyrox in Basel (Otillo Swimrun, Ironman70.3 background, and Crossfit enthousiast). Hunter is such a bad image for sport: being arrogant af, promoting his lifestyle without any lessons or something anyone could learn from or be inspired from. At least on my side, seeing the Hyrox brand pushing his face and story as an example is cold shower, nothing more. Sport is way more than being better than others... That's honestly just sad to listen to.
Couldn't disagree more
@@erica9563 i m genuinely curious. Would like to share your thoughts ? I mean bragging about getting into fistfights.. how is this not toxic?
Ehhhh he’s a likable douche though. Think he’s more real than 99% of the juice heads in crossfit.
@@quentingallea166 I would rather hear real talk from Hunter than the same old crap from Tia and others in CF. “It was hard, but I sent it” etc. It’s just not entertaining to listen to them talk. Robot interviews. I love hearing badass folks talk for real, like Hunter. Also, handstand events have nothing to do with fitness.
@@jrparker4804 I see, interesting. Thank you for taking the time to share.
How can you say you invented a new sport when its basically cross fit? And cross fit was not a new sport iver its circuit training and strong man. It just a new cpmpany trying to sell a product. Don't try to compare with , are people will beat cross fits ect you do your thing. Their is space for both I see this as older people finding sport and/or having the time later in life and cross-fiters starts younger and is more professional. Both are great just diffent.
The guy owns a print shop in a small village, the woman doesn't work ... they ride a nearly new mercedes ...
where's the catch?
About impossible in Belgium.
They already market themselves better than crossfit.
I kinda compare this like the UFC and Bellator. Theres CrossFit and HYDROX. They are great athletes just not the caliber of CrossFitters. But why does Hunter McIntrye looking like Justin Medeiros? Both have the mullet hairstyle.
Was ist der Unterschied zu Crossfit ?
Hunter vs Fraser I wonder who would win
I watched and still don't get it.
The Justin Medeiros lookalike makes me not want to take this video seriously at all. 😂😂😂 this has to be a parody.
Wants to be the best athlete in the world but also wants to drink beer and punch people; the perfect role model
German CrossFit?
So original. Ever heard of CrossFit?
Doesn't answer emails to his fitness programme for cancellations!!
10:20
😅
Seems like CrossFit, even copied the CrossFit champs hair cut😂😂😂
Bandwagon……jumping…..
Stop calling it a sport, not to mention a new sport. It's a race format, that's all. You created a race. This cocky gringo is not world champion either, he just wins a race. I can create a new race and call myself a champ in my backyard too
Seems like Crossfit - but they look a little bit skinny, esp. The Girls
"Its the only existing mass participation fitness event." Does this owner really think people that watch this sort of thing dont know abouy crossfit, whose first event us literally called "the open". How deluded is this guy. This video just gets worse amd worse. Cool event but lets be realistic here.
CrossFit???
Man this is worste than an unafilated CrossfitBox . What a cheap way of copying something. Germans should not copy that is sure go and invent something real new and bring Up a new brand in Sport. You guys try Crossfit in a very blown way and call it hyrox….
It's laughable to even mention Hyrox athletes in the same sentence as Crossfit games athletes.
Soooooooo...... Crossfit only with worse athletes ....
Soooo this is pretty much CrossFit… a different way of “organizing a CrossFit event”… not a “different sport”
No CF handstand events = awesome
New sport !! lol it's not even close to a new sport, it's just another crossfit games with another brand name
If you wait till the end, they tell you is an Onion News Network video. 😂😂😂 This guy reinvented crossfit but changed nothing ??!!
So this is CrossFit pretty much… this is NOT a new sport… this is just a different way to organize a CrossFit event.
No disrespect to the “athletes” but…. 😅
"birth place of a new sport"...
give me a break...its crossfit, just different routine.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I think this is a spoof.
This should be getting you fired uuuhhhppp!
After watching just a couple of minutes and that first time bragging about he is better than everyone else I stopped watching the video, that crap attitude tells me everything about this new sport
