- Ben Smith and Mat Fraser were in a tight race for the top of the podium at the 2015 Reebok CrossFit Games. Ultimately, Fraser took home the silver medal for the second consecutive year, and Smith stood on top of the podium at his seventh Games.
This year, both Smith and Fraser have their sights set on the gold once again. The 2016 Reebok CrossFit Games take place July 19-24, at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

I don't crossfit, I lift weight but I don't understand why people that do bodybuilding hate crossfit. These guys are real athletes.
exactly. people are so quick to assume that crossfitters aren't real athletes without realizing what they do. These athletes work their asses of all year around to make it to the games. People say they're on roids, or they're fake. It's sad how much people will bash on others thatre better then them. If you don't enjoy crossfit, don't bother hating on it. Everyone has their own different way of training and respect is what should be given, not taken for granted.
+Naydenflo I'm a soccer player so I lift weight for strenght and endurance but I think I should switch to crossfit. Their training seems more appropriate for a soccer player.
Because early crossfit gym gave an incredibly bad rep about unsanitary garage gym with too much testosterone going on resulting in over inflated ego doing with half-twits doing as many reps as possible while ditching technique as an incredibly lame-ass unnecessary process to go through.

These guys are the real deal, they took serious workout and competition simply represents their capabilities. But a lot of Xfit gyms simply assume the exercise should be the same as the ones in competitions and simple-minded think that keep doing them makes one better. Xfit is sport not exercise. Training is training and Xfit is not a type of training.

did you watch Bridges/Ence? That one to me was the best, epic storyline and parallel of last years results in the regionals to this years. Edited so well! This wasn't nearly as epic, impactful or powerful imo. Next episode looks real good.

I love where Fraser's coach says "he works on his weaknesses and adapts to the training better than anyone..." That was so apparent this year. Everyone gave him a hard time going into the sprint and he tore it up. He did great at the swim. He just did great at everything.

I'm so incredibly excited to watch the competition between Ben Smith, Noah Olsen, Josh Bridges and Mat Fraser this year on the Men's side, and of course the -Dottir battle on the Women's side. 2016 Games is going to be phenomenal!
