- 12v winch and auxiliary electric quick connectors, relays and switches install on the homemade 4x4 utility vehicle. And a little fun in the snow afterward.
All of this fabrication is done in my tiny homemade workshop.

And to everyone who reached out and felt concerned where I was the past month - thank you! I'm well and alive. And apparently now back on UA-cam as well. :)
The past month Vacation time for your brain😁😁😁
Hi! Glad to see you back! I've been waiting an eternity for that
You can get a amoeba car
poor Don, tried to get stuck on purpose to show off winch but ATV was too good to stay stuck. ;-D
😀
Same as i thought 😅👍🏼
Guess Snowplough using both winches, one for vertical (op down) one for horizontal (left right)?
As all-ways ,very good quality work.
The BMW and Peugeot parts turned into a serious off-road vehicle.
Keep up the good work but don't let us wait for too long.
BMW and Peugeot can learn a few things from this I think🤔😉
Nice build! While watching this video I noticed
At 10:30 you filmed a vehicle flying by behind you and it disappeared!
Sweet!
Can't wait to see the plow!
Left and right control for a snow plow. I've built something similar. I use the forward and reverse of the winch to angle the blade on my snow plow on my old garden tractor.
I'm guessing that second winch will be for power angling a blade. You do such awesome fabrication Donn, I can't wait for every new video!
A snowplow?
I was thinking, fence post auger.
Yes, the first thing I thought of when watching you drive around in the snow was you need a snowblower.
Thank you for all the time you spent walking around to get the camera set up for the outside shots!
Ah. This is going to be cool. The main winch it to move the snow blade up and down and the 2nd one is to angle the blade. What a good idea.
Donn, it's a joy to see you work, you're awesome!
Thanks for the video.
SWEET RIDE DONNY. You sir are the real deal. Keep up the fantastic jobs
Now you need a PSA hdi 150 amps alternator.
They even come with a clutch pulley.
Great build. Try filling connector with solder. Heat connector, melt solder, shove cable into connector. Vertical winch would be a sidewinder. Mount winch to trees and drag logs out of woods with block and tackle?
Great build and watching too.
Would you consider a half height suicide door. For protection against tipping over. And in the cold days. A heat fan from the exhaust to your side of the cabin.
Keep up the great work and look forward to the next installment
Your creativity always impresses me, nice work 👍
Home made 4x4s and random birds, perfect for me bud! 👍
can we get a smile at some point,,, nice done you rock man ..
😀
I came, I watched, I gave Thums Up! Thanks for the video.
Look at her go !! All that hard work paid off what a one of a kind UTV !! 👍👍Not sure what the next project will be but I am excited already for it !! Always something cool !!
Dump power box or a wrecker boom great work on the UTV
Such a masterpiece! Bravo!
Next project?
Snow plow with power angle using the winch. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
a real little boy playing with his Christmas present ^^
Yesss, next implementation, an unmanned vehicle!
Great to see you again!
LOL.... I loved the ending!
@ Donn DIY
With DC electrical cables the electricity flows on the outside of the cable, this is why battery cable & welding cable has thousands of tiny copper wires in it. So when you put them into battery cable logs you should first solder the wire ends, put a bit of flux into the battery lug then crimp then heat up to melt the excess solder onto the inside of the battery lug because this will give you better transfer of power, less chance of corrosion & always finish up with a short piece of heatshrink tubing to protect the battery lugs.
Thanks for sharing with us Donn, you’re having fun with what you built. Hope you can market it ! You’re doing a great job with all your fabrications. Keep up the good work and great videos. Fred. 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻✋🏻✋🏻👊🏻👊🏻
He's back!
Hey, wanna go snowmobiling? Nahhhhhh, I wanna go DonnMobiling!
Still trying to figure out where you got your very English sense of humour from... = ) always loving those last few seconds of your videos ! Good to hear that you are safe and well and thank you for yet another great video to watch ! = )
That build came out very nice. Ready for work or play.
The world needs more men to be like this.
Now that is a real full load capacity winch test 💪👌🧐👍 Great driving skill that you have mon ami 👍👌🧐 CHeers 🍻
Project approved! I think it came off very well. It is a light and compact machine, I still comparing your UTV project with the John Deere's that we have at work. You made a whole lot better machine! Great work mate! 👍🇪🇪💪
I think the 2. winch is for controlling a snow blade because you had installed mounts at the front allready couple videos before 😅👍🏼
Donn!! That Truck is SO Badass!! Love It! :-)
"various other attachments" way to keep us coming back for more 😍
It's a really cool video. I can't stop watching it.
wow! you make it selfdriven!
Great to see you back.
Wonderful fabrication as always
Post hole digging auger ? Think you are awesome Donn, keep fab fabricating :)
Nice project,
Those tires with the 4x4 are amazing
Timeless conclusion to this video. Well played.
You seem really good in your job.
Well done project. Thank you. Merry Christmas!
Your atv turned out very nicely, Donn. At first I was under the false impression that driving in Estonia was on the left side of the road. However, I came to realize that only the UK is Left hand drive in Europe, and you had to build it this way for proper orientation of the CV axles out of the transmission into the differentials. You got a lot more snow there than we did here in the northeastern US. We've only had snow flurries here.
The was the best build. I enjoyed watching every minute of the series.
Youre building a snow plow next and the reason for the vertical winch is a way of controlling the left/right angle of the blade. I had this idea years ago to use on my atv plow but never executed a design. I pondered using either a winch or an automobile starter. And the front mounted horizontal winch controls the up/down of the blade.
Very cool build Donn. I’d suggest around 100hp and using the bmw diffs after the Peugeot transmission giving you a lower final drive great for off-road use, makes for a very capable vehicle.
As far as i know the peugot engine has 75hp
The engine is simple 4 cylinder, 1.4L with 75hp. And looks it is more than enough for the vehicle. I really doubt it weights more than 500 kilos, wich means 1hp : 6.66kg power to weight ratio. More than enough.😁😁
I like the way it grips,
Don Diy, that staff is nice👍
Dragon Winch Nice Work.😊
A masterpiece Donn, so well filmed again, very happy you're well and alive, hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas, they should be very proud of you.
I guess a foot of snow is not gona bother that UTV. He made it too good.
goona be a power angel snow blade! great work as usual my friend!
hi great stuff. I love how smooth it runs. its ready for some serious miles and sounds like it will run for ever with maintenance
Great video and quality work.
Good work but change them 230v sockets for high a page units they will burn out as soon as you load the winch up
A masterpiece Donn, so well filmed again, very happy you're well and alive, hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas.
Excellent work 👍👍👍 . Thanks for sharing
Next project! SNOW PLOW! oh yeah!!!
I bet the next project is going to be a snow plow that has angle adjustemt from the cab using using the second winch. Good stuff, keep it up!
Nice dream and perfect realization. Huuge respect!
That looks like a lot of fun.
I think the next project is going to be as good if not better than your last !!!
Can't wait to see if I'm right!🤔👍
Cheers from Sydney Australia
🇭🇲🦘🐨🇭🇲🇪🇪
Excellent work
Looking great.
Amazing vehicle 👍
Love it!!!!
Bravooo! Thank you for video!
Love it
Very awesome!
Now it needs a homemade plow!!
You built your self a awesome utv
Like how the ground cable on the receiver broke
Great video. Really love how its coming along. Curious how many HP the engine is, I flabbergasted at how quiet it is. Can not wait to see the trailer run from the PTO shaft you installed in the back.
Best of luck with your work.
i think it's standard Pug engine. around 75ish i guess.
Amazing..!
I haven't even watched it yet but will grab some food and check it out love the videos.
Great video
Congratulation ! It's really nice to see it in action, do not hesitate to post more footage of the beast. Did you found any design flaw or all good? Cheers from France ! (nice farm btw)
So far so good. The Peugeot suspension parts have their limits but that's the price of free scrap parts. Cheers!
@@DonnDIY whats the upgrade options then ?? 🤔 makes another few interesting videos
Hello again, Donn nice to see you, I hope you enjoy the snow, :) Need to add heater Blower in the 4x4 UTV keep you warm... Great stunt video......
Awesome 👍👍
Fantastico!
Good job
Always enjoy your video and content 👍😎
The Lean Mean Green Machine has some cojones. I think you'll need more than snow to stop your UTV.
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼
Hello Donn good job my friend well done
A plow. Why not a hydro pump?
Looks great dude. She Bucks!!!!
We used to get snow like you have here in Northern New York USA., But not anymore.
Super 👍👍👍
snowplow with motorized angling system 😃
Крут, молодец 👍
From my past experience if you plan on using your winch for mostly lifting the plow, you might want to go with a shorter and thicker synthetic cable and maybe add a rubber bumper before the hook so that you don’t mistakenly winch the cable in too far.
Harika çok keyifli
Snow plough next I think donn, but I challenge you to a snow blower for the front of the Peugeot by-side-itself 😁
О, здорово. Давно не виделись ..
Слежу. За творчеством, машинка отличная. По установке лебедки есть замечания. Очень высоко, при лебежение машина будет как плуг врезаться в грунт. На снегу это не заметить а вот в грязи будет плохо.
Trying to like twice!!!!!
