Today we asked the question, can you find agates in a gravel pit? I loved looking for agates, Jasper, carnelian, and many other rocks in the agate pits of Moose Lake! These pits are well known in the area and are a popular attraction for many local visitors. We visited two of the pits on this trip in search of Lake Superior agates. It was a fun rockhounding adventure!
