So will you be getting a shortblock or just a block? I personally don't feel confident building a short block myself. Maybe I make it worse than what it is in my mind but getting the clearances right are so critical for longevity. Especially in a stroker when its going to build a lot more pressure and heat. There's a cool non stroker 454 package you can get to build 570hp on low octane fuel. For the money it isn't too bad at all. It's even possible to destroke a 454 and make it rev fast like a 350. I also like the idea of doing a lower compression 454 supercharger build too. I'm super biased for 454s lol. But 350s are great too. I just really like that big block rumble.
@@MillCreekFabShop Sweet you'll like that. A big con, as you know, for big blocks is fuel mileage. Thats why I didn't go with a 460 for mine. Big blocks are great for work trucks, thats where my bias for the 454 comes from really. Keep up the great work!😁
Usally the back of the bearing shell tells you if standard or undersize bearing even the year of the bearing.... Connecting rod!...piss rod lol. Send me the quadrajet
