- goo.gl/dCIoZS Narrowboat storage space - There's a huge difference between the storage space available in even the most modest house compared with a narrowboat. Here's what space I have available in my own 62' narrowboat.
Thanks Paul, I'm sucking up so much information by the time I get to taking the plunge I will be a walking encyclopedia of Narrow Boats, however I think you will remain the expert.
Hello Paul! Thank you very much for showing us the interior of your terrific boat. I have been reading your newsletter for some time now and it's really great to hear your voice and to be given this tour. Keep the videos coming! This came out really nicely! Cheerio for now, Chris Amson.
My pleasure!
Hello Paul
A very interesting video. Looks like you have an efficient sea dog in Charley. Thanks for showing your home, it looks very cozy. Shame I am to old to change lifestyles. Have always liked the sea and canals and boats.
Looking forward to the next video
Thanks for your posts as well.
Best wishes
Peter Cornwall
Hello Paul, All looks practical and compact
Mario.
Very interesting video, thanks for posting.
Hi Paul, Really enjoyed looking at your video - a great start and I hope you'll do more.
It was great to see your boat for the first time; I've been reading your newsletter for some time and it really helped me envisage your surroundings.
Perhaps we could see your new door panels fitted next and see how your insulation projects have changed the damp problems
Not a bad idea at all. I'll see what I can do.
Good one Paul. Looks the business. I'm bursting to see the secondary glazing episode!? I simply couldn't stop laughing when I read your wows when fitting it.
I've always found that sitting down with a cup of Coffee and studying it all for a while, even a day or two, before the 'attack' seems to work. But having said that it's all great fun and another feather in ones' cap.
Happy Christmas by the way!!!
The double glazing saga get's worse Mike, much worse. I've written more about it in the next newsletter (due 22nd December).
Hi Chris... I can't comment directly to your comment because of inherent problems with the UA-cam comments system but hopefully you'll pick up my reply here. Yes, good idea about the insulation/secondary double glazing video. I'll do one over the next couple of days.
Interesting video.
excellent video .. Many thanks for sharing your home with us ,Storage is ceratinly very good...... and as I have found , no matter what in life it never does any harm to live with miimal .. You are experts and a great example ...Happy Chritsmas by the way ....
Thank you for your kind comments and happy Christmas to you too!
very comfortable
Hi Paul,
This was a really useful and interesting video. Will check out your other videos now!
Peter
Thank you Peter
Very interesting, you have a nice boat. I'm cutting down on stuff at the moment and one way of saving space was by binning all my DVD covers and just putting the DVDs in paper sleeves. Saves quite a lot of shelf space.
That's not a bad way of doing it, and while you're at it, convert your music albums to digital and get yourself an eReader for your books.
Paul Smith Yes I love my ereader! I very rarely buy books - I only have a. ones that look nice (old leatherbound ones that I inherited) and ones that are practical if for any reason the electrics fail - first aid, survival tips, maps etc.
Hi Chris,
Very interesting...
That's an awful lot of double adapters you have plugged in under that bench! Big safety hazard :-)
I agree. I've had that section of the boat rewired since then.
