    Thanks,
Another entertaining VLOG. Your description of drunken party goers coming on uninvited reminded me of something.
Last English Summer, my older son Nige had a squatter on his narrow boat. She squatted for weeks and weeks but eventually she simply jumped off into the canal. A whole tribe of ducklings followed her.

That "DILLIGAF" Do I Look Like I Give A Flip line cracked me up! I'm STILL laughing at that one! Love it!
It's true though. My father has a sail boat in Warwick Rhode Island and we are sometimes amused at the names of the boats at his marina.

I remember this randomly sunny period in February 2016. An early spring followed by months of winter resumption. Enjoying the channel very much, has rekindled by past enjoyment of going narrowboat pleasure cruising every year, out of season in the early spring before the traffic picks up. Two boats & eight of us travelling in convoy. It made short work of locks, but the kitchen was always very crowded during evening dinner since we ate together before spending the night on our respective boats.

I really enjoy your videos. Every time my wife and I walk the towpaths around Oxfordshire and elsewhere, we wistfully chat about what life on the cut might be like for us. However, if we did it, there probably isn't a long enough narrowboat for all her 'mod-cons', which she will not be without. You should see the caravan we have! For two people! Oh and a couple of terriers.
Please keep them coming. Very informative and professionally presented.

Good description in a short time. As a child in London , I remember barges being pulled along by horses. Those barges are probably a home on the water now. I have very fond memories of my grandfather taking me down to see the boats, and how they were moved. Actually my favorite video so far. I strain to see the various narrowboats go by as I follow several who post videos of touring, but they rarely say anything about the other boats. At first I sort of thought they all looked alike, but began to notice the differences as I became more aware of the culture. I wish we had country-wide canal systems here in the US, but would probably have to drain the Great Lakes to fill them...:>)
