So happy to see our most beloved dishes being devoured by SIU.. Just to let you know.. chicken 65 was made in chennai by a hotel named buhari. The reason for the number 65 is that the chefs where tasked with creating new dishes each new year and would be presented to guests on the new year. So the dish was created on January 1st 1965 hence the name chicken 65. The buhari hotel was started in 1951. They have another dish named chicken 95 where butter is used to deep fry diced green chillies and poured over chicken 65..
Each state has a different type of item. Also, break items into Veg and non-veg (if you want). Check out Rogan Josh, Masala Dosa, Paper dosa with chutney and sambar, Garlic Naan, Cheese Naan, Garlic butter Naan, Chole Batura, Puri and Potato Sabji, Curry Chicken (many varieties, I think the south is the best version), Kerala Fish curry, Kerala Fish Fry, Fish Cutlet, Lamb Curry, Beef/lamb/pork/chicken Vindaloo, Saag or Palak Paneer, Lamb\mutton Biryani, Keema, Bindi Masala, Kerala Beef\lamb\goat fry, Lamb roast, black pepper goat curry, dahl (good protein for a vegetable), okra curry, Eggplant curry(South Indian style), Thali, urali roast, Chicken Chettinad, Mulligatawny soup, misal pav, kosha mangsho, Dhokla, South Indian Porotta(type of bread), Appam and Curry (sometimes with a veg stew, but I like it with green chicken curry), vada pav, momos, And for Desserts/sweets, check out Payasam (cashews, raisins, and Vermicelli), Chhena Poda, kulfi, Gulab jamun (it has to be warm, a bit crisp on the outside, and soft inside), mango Kulfi, Jalebi, Montochoor Laddo, Falooda, Gajar ka halwa, MilkCake(kalakand), Barfi, Mango lassi, Kaju katli, Nankhataim, Rasgulla, Mysore Pak, Halva

@@SnackInvestigationUnit Of course. Dosa would be my number one suggestion. There's many fillings available which makes each dosa different. But I'd recommend trying Masala Dosa and Ghee roast.
