We used to make such candy out of tamarind in childhood days , adding some sugar and chilli powder , chaat masala powder to it get that tangy sweet sour taste.

We eat a lot of these tamarind and it's good for your stomach. It requires to develop taste.I will not share it with my US friends 😊.

Please try Thai brand at costco. Dont remember the name. But that is the only one tamarind candy among the dry fruits section. That is sweeter softer and I loved it.
