X and Y definitely do matter on a corexy. Despite having 2 stepper working together for both X and Y movements, you still only have the printhead to move around when moving in X whereas a movement in Y still has to move the entire X gantry.
Update the firmware, mine didn’t have any issues out of the box but after the first print I did and it’s been rock solid so far. I’ve owned 16 other printers from ultimakers to Printrbot and diy machines and this is probably my favorite
Great demo. I just bought this printer it should arrive today. I am a little concerned with the malfunction that you got at a higher temp. Did you find out what the problem was?
I have had their old slow X-Maker since April 2020, still works. I check for Wi-Fi when looking at 3D printers. I wipe off the print head before each print, but having to mess with a flash drive for transferring files, every single time, would be VERY annoying. Every 3D printer should have Wi-Fi by now.
hey dude, when we compare the creality ender 3 v2 neo with the Creality Ender 3 s1 print quality, which one do you think is better v2 neo can print at 0.05mm layer height, s1 is 0.1mm layer height. I'm thinking of buying the v2 neo because it's both cheaper and more up-to-date.
Lots of mention of the speed, nothing about acceleration, is the acceleration included in the speed or is it a separate parameter? Maybe it’s automatically calculated from some other tests.
What is strange about it ? Bambu Lab X1C and P1P have been out for a while now, they are 256x256x256 and much more expensive. Creality K1 just came out (after this printer actually) and is either 220x220x250 or 300x300x300 (Max version). This Xidi X-Smart 3 is 180x180x170 for a (much) lower price, seems like a market Bambu Lab & Creality aren't in (yet).
@@_MicZ_ When did the Bambu Labs A1 Mini com out? LOL! Must have been after your post here. This printer is now $279. The A1 Mini $299 price must have scared them into a lower price!
If you are making recommendations on 3D printer then you need tp look at the cost of parts. Companies that rip off their customers need to called out. I got a good deal on one of these $419 AUD but if I need a new mainboard it is $311 AUD. You can get 10 Creality boards for that price.
The main problem seems to be the pre-sliced model on the USB stick they provide. At least in the reviews I've seen of this particular printer that was always an issue. It seems like it was sliced wrong or for a different printer.
Its a fast printer, but you cannot print fast because of crappy cooling. It has enclosure, but it overheating and stop printing when you closing it. It has super board, but it broke while you tested it. Its realy impressive printer, but its total garbage. Qidi knows how make good looking printers that cannot prints. 😂😂😂
Yeah, I hate device that try to titillate buyers with fancy tech at low cost but don't have the tech worked out well yet. Prusa is still the best consumer grade printer maker because they go slow and make sure everything works and will last. That's why all the print farms use Prusa. Can Bambu Labs compete? Hmmm.

Anybody know how to physically level the hotbed?
Seems the right front is lower than the rest. The auto level isn't good enough.
That intro montage music is FIRE
The update resolves the auto leveling at start up

Can you tell me more about your experience with the printer? please.
@@omegadeepblue1407
No
How did you resolve the problem?
Why can't you have the top on while printing PLA?
Because of heat creep pla is a low melt filament
I had own QIDI tech but I frustrated.. QIDI can't any plugin to Markfrog, Rasied3D, Unimaker, etc.. wrong with QIDI??

Was the firmware updated? What does the interface log file show what happened? Being klipper there is a lot more feedback.
Thanks

Does anyone have a link for the frimware that he downloaded?

I had seen the v2 neo is known to be less problematic than the S1.
Can you test the torture toaster ?
That was the third print I did on mine and it came out perfect!

There is a firmware update that fixes lots of issues..
Overall it looks great? Do you even look at what you print?
Strange option now that the BambuLabs and Creality K1s are out.

Really useful video thank you
I just want to print cf nylon reliably with a low cost machine, I don’t care if it’s super fast!
Apparently this can print cf-nylon if you buy the hotend/nozzle upgrade.
I thought this printer can print directly from your smart phone no computer or flash drive needed. How come you didn’t go over that?
If you need a glue stick for your prints your printer isn't calibrated right...

Every Qidi review has issues. It feels like Qidi really rushed these

@@_MicZ_ Exactly, I’ve got the X Smart 3 and I’ve not had a single issue. First print was perfect and everyone since. Already through 2 full spools
Speed means little when too much quality has been sacrificed.
Yeah, speed doesn't impress me, quality of print impresses me! Quality and reliability are key.

Well, Toyota Corolla is also reliable and slow... does this makes it the best car out there?
That would be an O.K. printer if it was $299 or less. On second thought $29.99.
It's now $279 on Amazon. I think the $299 Bambu Labs A1 Mini scared them into lowering the price. ;)
just add

to your Gcode(startcode) in the slicer somewhere after G28.
