- This recipe comes out delicious. Everything rehydrates perfectly. The mushrooms still retain some crispiness and the steak is nice and tender. I hope you enjoy this one!

So glad you had a good break. I am really happy you are back. I was disheartened about whoever said negative things to upset you. Really sad to say there are people that are mean and don't care about anybody but themselves. You brought a ray of sunshine back to my life, thank you for returning. As always, I enjoyed your video very much. Looking forward to making this recipe. Thank you for the tip with the mushrooms and oil change. Awesome sealer.

Welcome back John! I'm a rookie and I spent the month you were gone binge-watching all your old videos and I learned so much. I'm all caught up now and ready for more! Love your practical approach. Who doesn't love stroganoff?
Glad to see you’re back love your videos. Thank you for what you do
Hey John! We're glad you're back. I was on vacation for my birthday/Mother's Day, with our oldest son and daughter-in-law, when my husband called me. He said an old friend is back, when I asked who, he said John. I said, John in Bibs? He said yes! It made us very happy to have you back to your post. We have learned a lot from you about freeze drying. We freeze dry almost all of our leftovers. We try your recipes for supper, and then freeze dry the leftovers. I'm not a very good cook, but learning to cook for freeze drying JIB style has helped tremendously. I'm also the one that likes to freeze dry food for use in recipes, like onions, celery, mushrooms, etc. Have a wonderful day, and we're glad you had a vacation/break to re-group. Looking forward to trying this recipe, and getting your new book when it's ready.
So glad you are back and that you had a nice time off.
Welcome back John! Without you posting these great videos , I would have too! And I’m so lazyyyyyy!!!!!!

Welcome back. Looks good, thanks for sharing.
Good to see you back.
Thanks for the tip on the mushroom browning the oil, I mostly leave out mushroom but some of my family have been asking for some meals with mushrooms. I’m so thankful for the ease of oil changes - until I did it once I was really intimidated. I watched you and School Reports before I changed it, and it was easy. Again, so nice to see you again Bibs!!
Glad to see your back, missed you!
So happy to see you back, we’ve missed your videos. And I love beef stroganoff! Can’t wait to try it. I just ordered one of those impact sealers and they were in stock.
Thank you and thank you for your support!
So glad you are back
So happy to see you again and I’m glad the time away was good for you! Your voice is a peace giving voice and you’re starting off mt day “just right”! Plus the stroganoff looks yummy and easy enough - I just finished a load of comfort food; beanie weenie - it freeze dried really nicely.
Welcome back! Thanks for a great recipe
I’ve been missing you!!!
I just pulled 9 lbs of sour cream out and it turned out beautiful! I did 9 lbs of baby Bella’s last week. I’m almost there. Lol
Wow you have been busy!
@@JohnInBibs I’ve got 10 lbs of bananas in right now! Pulled 10 lbs of strawberries a couple days ago.
Glad you are back!🤩
You have been dearly missed. And I will be FD this.
Thanks
Can't wait to watch this later welcome back😊
This looks amazing. Thanks for sharing
Another great one for my list! Thank you!
Glad you are back, this looks amazing, thanks for sharing
Thank You
Good to see u back
Hey John! Good to see you
Just ordered my sealer through your link. Thanks for the tip
Glad you are back.
I always put a slice of toast on the plate and dip the stroganoff over top.
Sometimes the toast then a slice of provolone cheese then the stroganoff.
sounds delish
I am so glad you are back. I took a break too, the negativity everywhere was getting to me too. You are a breath of fresh air
Thank you
Welcome back, John!
soglad you are back. enjoyed the video, that beef looks delicious. also, I got your book and just love it. have lots of recipes to do. now to find the time to do them.
Thank You!
This MUST be a CLONE. John left us, OR no? Welcome back JOHN !
Welcome back John
John! Thank you, thank you, thank you! My impulse sealer was melting everything and was going to need replaced. And it never did give me a smooth seal. But this beast of a sealer you recommended is absolutely amazing! I got the 16”. Not quite wide enough for 5 gallon Mylar bags, but easy enough to seal from each direction. I cannot begin to tell you how much relief I feel, knowing without a doubt my bags are sealed!
Thank you. I am so happy to see that someone saw the value in this sealer. The knowledge that your bag is properly sealed is priceless!
Also John, I've found that when you put an empty tray on top and press down to cut through with the dividers. They make a better even cut, especially when cutting through meat. Just a suggestion from my experience.
Thanks
Time off is always good; Thanks for coming back and sharing your skills! I would like to see you do potatoes and the fry them after freeze drying if possible.
Ordered the heat sealer! Thank you! Interesting about the mushrooms. I just ran a bunch of Lion’s Mane with no issues. Maybe it is dirty and I just can’t see it because the spores are not dark?
Thank you for your support!
Glad your back. Stroganoff is one of my favorite things to do in my dryer. Never had my oil change due to mushrooms. good to know though. I have only done brown mushrooms from the wholesaler after I sliced em and in the stroganoff of course. Once again glad your back, that made my day. Cheers
Hey John have you ever,Or are you ever going to do a video on chicken and dumplings? Not the little flat dumplings but the fluffy dumplings. Because I’m interested in how you would rehydrate those.
I've never had much luck with dumplings. sorry
“Hair curling tongs”!!! 😂
LOL, just goes to show I don't know alot about hair, probably because I don't have much LOL
Glad you’re back!
What is the shelf life on this recipe?
Looks amazing but is that a lot of dairy fat or just fine?
My favorite freeze dry recipe channel!
John, you have to make Mississippi pot roast 😊
Having grown up in Mississippi, I might just have to do that LOL
Welcome back John. You precooked your mushrooms in the stroganoff first. You mentioned them affecting the oil and turning it black. Did that happen with these mushrooms or is it only when you are FD them separately?
It is so good to see you back and what a great recipe to try! Question: Does it matter if I use regular egg noodles instead of the no yolk noodles? Does the shelf life of egg noodles matter when freeze drying?
I don't think it matters. I just have very good luck with rehydrating these noodles quickly (which is my goal for pouch meals)
@@JohnInBibs Okay. Thank you!
I like your scale. What brand is it?
Oh gosh I don't remember, I think it is in my Amazon store.
Where can I find the best price on those 7 mil wide bags?
In the video at ua-cam.com/video/OT1vi4NVsy0/v-deo.html I give you the website. I even give you a promotion code to save a little.
You didn’t say where we can get the sealer!
Found it, sorry
I bought one of these and it is in celsius, is the 100 you talk about 100C or 100F?
I'm not sure what you are referring to but if I say 100 degrees then whatever equipment you are talking about would be in Fahrenheit.
If you are talking about the induction stove, google is your friend: ua-cam.com/video/2rVKUR5nwYA/v-deo.html
@@JohnInBibs The blue sealer that is in the beef Stroganoff video the one someone sent you and you have the 8 inch and the 12 inch. I love it and used it yesterday and used the 100C and it worked great. Mine does not have F
@@loriditz162 Ah, that makes sense. with over 300 videos on FDing I get confused. You are correct, mine is in C;'s as well. Sorry for my confusion
