A classroom management strategy: Reinforce positive behaviors while ignoring the negatives. Well needed anywhere in life really.
I really love this channel and I was really blown away with the quality of the content at this price. You're a true content creator.

I’m not sure if I have passed my PRAXIS exams, but I wish I would have found you sooner. If I do not I will definitely still use you for help. Even further on with the other exams I will have to take. Thank you for starting your company.

Thank you for this wonderful video and I am with you , I have many ‘soul suckers’ that at times impacts me ; but your video empowered me not to allow those “soul suckers” get to me ( including my ex husband )..thank you so much !❤️
It would be nice to see a video on how to write a book knowing you have written 15 books in a year ( wow )..❤️

I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I plan to do a video on how to self publish on Amazon. It's easy and anyone can do it.

In 2013 I decided to go for my doctorate. I challenged myself and earned my DBA in December 2016. I'm now enrolled in the Alternate Route to Teaching program in Mississippi and plan to get licensed next summer to teach next fall. Your videos have been immensely helpful.

This was very enlightening. I think feedback should be taken with a grain of salt whether it is encouraging or mortifying. Both have a way of keeping us on our toes. Thank you for your insight on this. I needed that today.

Thank you for watching and commenting. Yes to feedback. It also helps to make fun of ourselves a little and not take ourselves too seriously.

It is one of my favorite mean reviews. You have to give the person credit for his knowledge and commitment. And I learned from it.

"White shaming?" Sounds like that individual is out of touch with reality. The truth is the truth. Yes, my ancestors have helped to build this country. Yes, they have given blood, sweat and tears even their own lives so that descendants like me wouldn't have to suffer what they have. In the words of the late great Maya Angelou, "Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave, I AM the hope and the dream of the slave." (Still I Rise poem)

I noticed that you mention and/or talk to people who happen to be presently in the teaching field. My question is how are so many of them taking certification exams but yet are teaching in the classroom? Where I am from we cannot teach unless we have proper certification and licensure. This means passing all certification exams required, Student Teaching, then graduating.
Currently right now, I am prevented from Student Teaching unless I pass my Math Praxis.

    • @KathleenJasperEdD

In many states, you can teach while getting certified. However, you have to have at least a bachelor's degree to do that.

    • @thatcrazywolf
      @thatcrazywolf Рік тому

You can sub (long term) with just a bachelor's degree. In Texas it's 30 instructional days if you haven't passed the test(s).

So, the truth is now "white guilt"? Wow! It's not like you were crying profusely and apologizing for the depravity of your ancestors. If we're unwilling to accept the truth, we can never truly walk together as we should be.

Right?! Anyway, I am committed to doing my part when it comes to social studies. I still make all kinds of mistakes. But I am here to educate the best and most accurate way I can. Thanks for watching.

These are those very same people who sit on school boards and PTA meetings trying to argue for that Critical Race Theory BS to made part of the curriculum. smh

I love your content I don't think you have white guilt though. Slaves were not brought from Africa people were taken from Africa and then enslaved and there were some Africans here before Columbus because I am a descendant.
