- Advance Termite Bait Station. Termite Bait Stations have come a long way since I first started using them. I recently replaced my system with the Advance Termite Bait System.
The Advance Termite Bait System is simple. Install the Termite Bait Station (TMS)'s around the structure perimeter. The TMS consists of a wood Termite Monitoring Base (TMB) and a Termite Inspection Cartridge (TMC). The TMS attracts termites, in close proximity, before they reach the protected structure.
Inspect every three to four months. Upon confirmation of termites in the TIC, replace the TIC with a Trelona Termite Bait Cartridge. Recap the station and do not disturb for ninety days. The Termites will consume the Trelona bait, taking it back to the colony, wherein the colony will be eradicated.
Apply/use all products in accordance with manufacturers directions, including application rate, frequency and follow manufacturers personal protective safety instructions. While I have attempted to correctly transcribe aforesaid in this video, Manufacturers instructions rule and should be reviewed by applicator and strictly adhered to.

That was great info russ that will help a lot of people always a great show thanks again brother
Thank yet again. I'll be checking mine again this week to see if I have any activity. Doing more often before things cool off. Next season I'll do every two months or so. I've had termites in the past and still have swarms outside in the spring so there is plenty of activity in the area.
Great video! I'm think I'm gonna do it myself after seeing this. 🙌
Thanks much! Much more cost effective to purchase and install yourself.
@@LawnJourneys question, when you inspect the stations, how do you know to drop the bait? is it really evident if they are in the inspection cartridge or do you need 3 years of schooling first lol?!
@@BermudaBoss Your going to see activity in the cartridge such as tunneling, termites themselves or termites in the wood below the cartridge. It’s obvious. I did get a hit in one of my 10 stations this season and swapped the cartridge out with the pesticide one. Have not opened the station since. I should have documented it.
☀Perfect timing! I was just looking at doing one around my garden so my fence posts and raised wooden beds don't get chewed up. Your Amazon links don't appear to work. Thanks for sharing the information!
Glad it was helpful and thanks for telling me about the links. I just updated them, so hopefully their useful now. 🙂
I like the video and the shorts Russ.
Yes better than my beat up work shorts! 😆. This video was fun to do. If I get a hit I’ll do an update, unfortunately just a matter of time around my area 🐛
Nice job Russ. Maybe I should get them . I'll have to see.
Thanks Bob. I’ve had hits with my old system. This system is well designed, let you know if I get a hit.
Great video! I might be installing these soon!
Thanks. I’ve had hits with my old system and expect same with these. I like these better, plus replacement parts are readily available. We should meet up some time.
@@LawnJourneys Let me know if you want to meet up for lunch sometime.
@@TheLawngineer For sure. Will reach out by email or FB and exchange cell #s.
everything I'm reading says bait stations are Not worth it. plus,I don't want my home monitored. I want it treated. sounds like a scam.
I don’t believe there a scam. They’re monitoring stations that when hit get bait installed that kills colonies. They’re not for ridding known infestation in a home, more early warning and/or prevention.
I believe they’re heavily used in south eastern US by commercial pest companies and often beneficial when selling home as a means to certify that proper prevention methods have been employed.
The stations I installed I self monitor.
