MAKERERE LAW SCHOOL SUSPENDS OVER 100 STUDENTS.

Makerere Law School, one of the most prestigious law schools in the country has suspended over 100 students for plagiarism.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the students of this school petitioned the administration for online exams but they were given 4 hours for the online exams as opposed to the 7 hours they had expected as per the last set of online exams.
Consequently, there were lots of plagiarism cases to beat the time.
The duration of suspensions was meted out according to the plea of Guilty/Innocent and the gravity of plagiarism.
The suspensions that were the prevalent form of punishment have caused a lot of distraught and mental health issues amongst not only the students but among their parents as well.
