@hellokristen I have a 101 oz bottle but if I fill it to the rim it's 120 oz and I have no issue with finishing it. I am so full on the days I finish it. I started on the smaller bottle and worked my way up.
Yummi Girl I also feel full on the days I drink the gallon of water! I always say that you don’t NEED the water bottle in order to drink that much water per day, but it really helps!

Hello Kristen did you used to have your bellybutton pierced??? i have been considering getting mine pierced and want to know your thoughts on having it if you did!!
Kyra Lee yes I did and now I regret it. 😩 I had the top and the bottom pierced TWICE and my body kept rejecting it and pushed them out. Now I have scars and it looks terrible. I'm super self conscious about it when I wear crop tops. They can look nice but honestly they aren't as popular today as they were when I was in high school and I wouldn't recommend doing it!

I believed I was the only who said I hate water, I see I'm not the only one. But I'm determined to take this challenge..
As an exercise physiologist I wanted to say that drinking that much plain water is good short term. The main thing to remember though is to make sure you are taking in enough minerals through diet or by adding a few drops of trace minerals and the juice of 1/2 lemon to every 16 ounces of water you drink for PROPER hydration. Doing this will prevent you from becoming mineral deficient which I see a lot in people who drink a lot of plain water and not consuming enough minerals through diet. A lot to this, but I covered the basics....

Charlotte O'Grady stick with it and I promise you’ll see results! Make sure you take before and after photos so that you get the full effect. On the last day I didn’t think that it was that big of a change but when I compared it to the first day I was shocked!

My dermatologist told me there's nothing I can do to get rid of dark circles as they're just due to having thinner skin under the eyes and it's the way light refracts through it that makes them look dark. Drinking water may plump up your skin which can give the appearance of them looking lighter but they will go back to normal when the body flushes the excess water out
Becca you can get rid of it, or reduce it. But from my personal experience not only from drinking a lot of water. I do face yoga for a while and it really helps. Give it a try
Yoga, water, omitting sugars, lots of veggies, good sleep. Mine are gone. I eat sugar or forget to drink water and they are back.

That's literally my biggest problem - my body never thinks it's thirsty, it sends hunger signals instead. 😅

I’ve been doing this challenge for a little over a month now and I am OBSESSED with the results I am getting, I have started encouraging all of my friends to try it as well! I wish i would’ve taken before and after pictures to compare. Overall, I just feel so much healthier and energetic.

i use to drink soda with every meal when i was a teenager, i now have a soda maybe once a month. all i do is drink water, maybe not a gallon everyday, but at least 120 oz (almost a gallon). i noticed a big difference in my skin and in my bloating. water is truly my best friend and im so happy i switched to just drinking water and haven't looked back for the last four years. great video :)

I am currently day 2 in my gallon a day routine and it really isn't much of a difference for me. I usually drink about 12 bottles a day so going for a gallon isn't much of a stretch. So happy that I ain't going to the bathroom much but love that it DOES curve the appetite tremendously! 💯

Since we're stuck st home, I just fill a gallon with water and fill my cup from that. Then I refill it at night and put it in the fridge so it's cold in the morning. I just finished day 5!

I ordered one of the bottles in purple and plan to do this in May. I need something to kick start my weightloss journey again. Was stuck at a plateau for a couple months and then started gaining again. Boo! Hopefully this will help!
Hi Kristen. Just found you on UA-cam. So funny...I just started to drink a lot of water to see what would happen too! I found myself shouting (not loud) but pointing and agreeing with everything you said about really being dehydrated when thinking your hungry! I was worried about my usual 3pm hungry feeling. I drank my water and the feeling disappeared!! I too could not lose any weight and was just stuck!!! While I did start eating more salad, veggies and smaller quantities before, I still did not have luck. With the healthier way of eating and the water, I saw the scale move! Also, a big also, sleep has done wonders to help lose. With this quarantine, I just decided to take advantage and sleep as long as I could. So even if I was up till 2 am (can’t put my phone down) I’m still getting 7 or 8 hours. Apparently my cells have time now to rebuild and reboot!! I have lost the hard 5 lbs and stared to see needle move on the scale! Also, don’t want to be gross, but I’m sure you noticed being able to eliminate every day now!!! You have to in order to lose weight! When I was dehydrated I could not!!! Drink water as soon as you get up. Drink at least 16oz! This gets everything moving. Looking forward to hearing your journey!!! 👍😊

I have a really thin layer of skin under my eyes, so The “darkness” used to show more and I thought I couldn’t do much about it, but now it’s like I became a kid again (with zero problems) lol. I’ve always been lucky with my skin but now that I’m thinking about it I never had any minimal problem during this month!
I think that you don’t need to drink a gallon every day if you don’t feel like it, but after a while you became thirstier and thirstier and you don’t even notice anymore😂
For the weight: I’m currently on a diet and I’m exercising everyday so I don’t really know, but it really helps with cravings. If you have any more questions I’m here!

I also started this challenge like 12 days ago. I drink a minimum of 100oz of water per day (128oz = a gallon) plus I’ve also been cutting down calories. Exactly as she mentioned, drinking water helps out big time with cravings, I’ve barely craved sweets all this time and when I’ve eaten something sweet I can’t even stand it. I feel like everyone should know their limit on how much calories they cut on a daily though. It’s not healthy to cut off too much. Overall I’ve lost 7 pounds in the past 12 days (155 to 148, lowest I’ve been in months)

I just bought the gallon one that comes in this blue purple ombre blend. I figured 2 half gallon ones for 17-20 bucks would costs me 40 when the gallon one was 22 and I only have to lug around one jug and fill it once a day. I just bought a gallon water bottle! I'm trying to get back to a healthy weight which is kind of hard to figure out since most of my weight is my chest and bottom. :/ I'm just excited cause I've been slowly losing weight and get in my treadmill tomorrow! Planning to walk 3 miles a day to feel good :)

Good luck, walking is the best for slimming down, 10,000 steps is around 5 miles, look up walk with Leslie on UA-cam she has great walking videos, also look up Lucy Wyndham read on UA-cam and her website of the same name, she has walking audio for fat loss, has ebooks, and loads of short duration workouts such as lose the muffin top, drop a dress size, little black dress, arms and all problem areas, she also has virtual walking videos- France and places which will be great to watch when you get your treadmill, she has rave reviews on fb and people swear by her, she’s a PT with 20 years experience and her workouts are all with no equipment and also are short duration. Good luck.

When you mention being thirstier after you started drinking more water, I wonder if it's sort of like, your body didn't really know what it was missing if you didn't drink a lot before. Sort of like your lips don't seem chapped until you put on chapstick and it wears off. Your body wants more now that it's been "introduced" maybe? Just a theory.
Andy Kade that could be it! My theory is sort of along those lines - I was thinking that because my body knew it was getting enough water, it stopped holding onto it so I didn’t have a lot in my reserve. That is a COMPLETE guess and I really have no idea 😅
Your body gets used to bigger water intake, so in turn it starts excreting more water to keep water levels balanced. This effect lasts for a while, so even if you suddenly decrease your water intake, your body is still excreting lots of water, causing water "deficiency" which is why you feel thirsty. Hope it helps 😊

I'm on day 2 of this after watching another UA-camr ... before I started I dropped soda for 2 weeks and drank flavored water... lost 10 lbs just doing that! And I never lost weight easily! I no longer like the taste of flavored water. I crave plain normal water. I haven't changed what I eat but I do try fasting from 8pm to 11am

Emily Boyd I was very surprised that I was able to stick with it! I think the water bottle was a huge motivator and the fact that it was a “challenge” with a set amount I had to drink every day. I actually bought a bunch of crystal light packets just IN CASE I wasn’t going to be able to stick with it but it never got to that point (which is good because they are really bad for you 😅)
Putting fresh fruit in water also helps (I didn’t do it for this challenge but I will in the future)
Right now my favorite fruit in water is Oranges + Kiwis (sounds like a weird combo but it’s soo good!)

Marloes Hermsen there are 3.785 liters in a gallon. My water bottle was a half gallon size (1.893 liters) and I filled it up twice per day. ☺️

I set a timer on my iPhone every 15 minutes and I drank 6 sips of water. That way I’m not waiting until the last minute.

anushka sarode yes I did. I became less bloated and lost weight... my face cleared up completely and I had more energy. It’s been a month and I’ve still continued with the water.

That water bottle was seriously the key to my success. I don't know if it's the excitement of having something new to use or if it's just a giant pink reminder to drink more water - but either way, I highly recommend! Let me know how it goes :)

Im trying to do this right now! I am at least trying to get a half gallon in because I was a chronic non-water drinker. So starting slow and building up! I have noticed energy levels for sure, I usually sleep in till noon but have been able to wake up around 8:45/9:30 and be fine. I also have noticed I don't look as puffy.
Claire Peterson yay that’s awesome you’re seeing results! As long as you’re getting enough water then you should be fine. Not everyone has to drink a gallon of water a day, I was going a little overboard to make sure I saw results that I knew were directly linked to the water intake.
Kristen- It makes your skin clear and get rid of eye bags and also gives energy and helps with focus!!
Me- it also keeps you alive!!

I came here as I saw the bottle... I bought the same a year ago and after that another 5 for ladies in the office as they loved mine. The time line on the bottle makes you stick to it as its easier to track thank just the ml scale. ☺️
This bottle was a GAME CHANGER for me!! Did you get the gallon or the half-gallon bottle? Mine is a half gallon and I fill it up twice per day

I used to suffer from vertigo (balance problems) sometimes it was so bad, it would make me sick. I saw an app where you can track how much you drink per day. Since drinking 3litres a day of water the vertigo has gone. I think it was because I was dehydrated and the fluid in my inner ear, that controls my balance had become depleted. I am really pleased, as vertigo is quite unpleasant.

Hello, if we decrease our water consumption after a certain time do we regain weight after? I don't really know how to explain it. But your video is very good :)

I assume that if you stop drinking the water and you go back to unhealthy eating patterns that you might regain the weight, but if you use this to kick off a healthier lifestyle I don’t think that you would regain it (unless you’re dehydrated and your body starts holding onto water weight)
that's all just a guess though!
