Many men have gained the world but lost their soul. They have the car, the house, the girl, but have lost themselves along the way. External results mean nothing without the inner peace and integration to enjoy them. The outer trappings and achievements just become the icing on the cake, not the cake itself.

I am 33 too and feel like I am going through a shift, after being tested this year with a breakup and recovering from a bad injury. It isn't easy but I feel like I am becoming a clearer, better version of myself

It was until i started to watch your videos that i realize the importance of not escaping from myself. It hurt a lot, its very harmful, but at the end of the day, you become stronger and more prepared for future challenges. Thank you very much for this awesome video!

Sharing a lil something I wrote a few weeks ago as it pertains to this:
In the quiet corners of life, where the world's noise fades to a whisper, that's often where you find me.
No grand entrance, no fanfare, just a sudden intrusion. Barging in, uninvited yet relentless, leaving me little to no choice but surrender.
Once, I stood tall in every battle, victory my faithful companion. But then, defeat came knocking, and everything changed. The journey defeat conveyed seemed almost surreal; now, in losing, I find unexpected solace, a peculiar fondness for the quiet surrender.
When did losing become sweeter than winning? Where did the relentless drive for victory fade? Reflecting on life's journey, akin to climbing a mountain.
Scaling peaks of euphoria, but atop the summit, a new truth dawns: that descent is but an inevitable part of the journey. On the other side of that mountain, a choice awaits: embrace the challenges ahead, or welcome the darkness. For within it lies the essence of renewal.
Like the many changes we undergo, Learning to embrace both highs and lows is pivotal. It's a perpetual cycle of death, metamorphosis, rebirth; a journey of continual evolution and discovery.
Imagine a life where each moment, not just every new year, month, dawn, or hour, is imbued with total awareness. That's the moment the decision is made: embracing the call to metamorphosisism. Picture the caterpillar afraid to submit to the process. The butterfly would never come into being, and it would miss its intended experience-the ability to fly.

Wow! Powerful video.. You used the perfect words to describe what happened to me as well (without the mushrooms). I feel life is so cruel and merciless to us traumatized men that it forces us to go right there. The initiation is built in.

Well done mate. I have gone through this process and whole hearty agree with both your sentiment and words. You got me and just let a few tears and emotion out. It's important not to push this process onto anyone who's not ready as you said. However, it's also important to be ready and aware of others who are close to allowing themselves to start or are going through this process. Keep up the fantastic work.

"Suppression of your emotions and feelings can destroy you"
Been having a ton of (social) anxiety lately and i strongly feel i can't go on like this, its killing me. On the surface there's fear of humiliation or even violence. The pressure is building up. I feel like the caterpillar going nuts in a tight claustrophobic environment. Self esteem is down the toilet. I've been considering workout out more and looking better as ways to start feeling better but if you say it's only 'icing on the cake", maybe youre right.
You make it sound simple and easy like it's no big deal. Either you're very strong or im very weak. I don't want to suppress myself/my feelings and emotions but i dont seem to have the faith or confidence to express because i doubt myself a lot. Thanks for making this video, it takes less effort/concentration so even when i feel like shit i could watch interesting stuff like this

After many years of therapy, I began to make significant steps in the right direction. My therapist then recommended 'Conversations with God' to me.
The book resonated with me. I asked my therapist why he had waited until now to offer up such useful material to me. It could've saved me from a lot of headaches and heartache knowing then what I know now.
He didn't answer. I answered my question by saying "I wouldn't have been ready back then, would I?."

Is meditation the best way to bring up trauma to process without using shrooms and plants?

    • @thaik56

Semen retention will bring up all repressed or buried issues, meditation will partly solve it, you need some action to heal it.

Look into "shadow work" ... that is great place to start. And yes meditation will help you begin to create space between your awareness (who you are) and your minds constant activity... You will eventually realize that you are not your thoughts which is the beginning of awakening and healing in my opinion.
