The only reason to spend time thinking about how you were victimized is to gain understanding and enough clarity on the past in order to restore the ability to set healthy boundaries and to rediscover parts of yourself that were split off or hidden away. Understanding the lies of the past and how you were manipulated frees you up to do this. Resentment beyond that point is a temptation that you must ween yourself off of in order to be fully present to yourself and to enjoy your new life.

If we know this, our focus on growth, just like our understanding of it, will change completely. We will start to see that growth is not restricted to this ephemeral life, it is not restricted by the boundaries of this material world. We will see that you can really grow when you leave a legacy of good deeds, of knowledge, of charity. Your life grows in multitude when it impacts many lives who, in turn, learn how to give and sacrifice. Then, and only then, you know what growth is.

Related to suplements, I would suggest vitamin D and/or Mg/Zn. With a good balanced diet you might not need it, but a lot of people lack especially vitamin D. As a former “enthusiastic and young gym rat” I used to buy tons of suplimente (don’t even need to mention them, all shit that promise muscle or fat burn or energy). Never have I ever felt a difference, stick to creatine, coffe and maybe what I mentioned before

This channel is helping me so much. I’m a Christian, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have to live in reality. Life is hard and it’s getting harder for men by the day. Society has told us that our worth is dependent upon how much money we have. Masculinity has been put in a bad light, and we are told we should be ashamed of our desire to be masculine. We are also told we should feel guilty about things we had nothing to do with. I’m seeing so many men struggling these days. I think there is literally a spiritual attack on men in this country.

This hit home. I’m 38 and I realized yesterday that I actually hate myself. I dropped something and instantly said “ you dumbass loser”. Ive ignored this for too long. On the outside everyone I know thinks im successful and have it made. But if only they knew how I feel on the inside. I’ve lost 35 pounds in 2 years. I think about doing things to end this suffering.
