Started playing this game about a month ago. At first it was brutal, but once I got the hang of it, it's an absolute blast. I also appreciate that they made shotguns effective beyond point blank range.

If you try Verdun or Tannenberg or Isonzo they are WW1 FPS games and most the time when you kill people their bodies will scream for a while and you're just shooting and pushing over them it's intense/horrific and on all platforms I believe. I hope I'm not too late

Spend 2 years of your life in a Jungle that embodied Hell itself, with all the screams, all the guns, all the explosions, and even all the Bugs… all the morally incorrect orders you were forced to follow as an 18 year old, only to come home and have nobody at all capable of caring, let alone understanding what you’d just been through…. Too bad it never made it to console. I can’t get my pc mates to play this anymore bc they’re always getting vote kicked by the players who run into napalm strikes even when told not to.
I haven't spent tons of hours on this game to get good, but it sure feels good to mow down lots of enemies while getting outnumbered and watching the fireworks go down as you bleed yourself to death.
I absolutely love it. Just one criticism is I think you zoom in on the sights too often and too much beyond what is needed but other then that awesome.
Pretty sure you already know about this but I just want to tell people that there is bullet penetration mechanic in the game. Not all RS2 players aware of this. Even SMGs could go through a brick wall. Doesn't sound that important but could save your life sometimes. Like, if you are in a house as a GI machine gunner and you hear some VC noises in the room next to you, just spray it with MG and you could probably kill them all without exposing yourself. Or to kill those cheeky bastards in buildings thinking they are safe there.
