My great uncle was a helicopter crew chief in Nam for two tours in 64 and 66, weird how now 55 years later at 81 years old he’s now telling all of his Nam stories including pre Nam stories which included during the Cuban Missile crisis as a fresh private his helicopter was down in Miami ready to dust off for Cuba if the invasion went off, one of his Nam stories that stuck with me is telling how they were taking a Green Beret A team to their A camp in the mountains to take over for the Special Forces team there, while they were coming in the camp got attacked and they called in air support and some F4 Phantoms came to assist and they dropped napalm on the forest below, and he said though you couldn’t see them you could hear the screams of dying VC in the trees over the helicopter

My grandpa was in Vietnam as a combat medic and he at one point picked up a flamethrower from a dead body and started going berserk and unleashed hell on the enemy in front of him and not stopping till the grass around him and trees were burnt down. He killed a lot of fuckers. He also loved the AK 47s he hated using his M16A1 so whenever he picked up an enemy AK he kept it. Showed him this video he loved it and laughed a lot. Thanks cornhole for the laughs.
