Well! I got a string from these guys and it broke dead center of the eyelet that slides onto the cam, going on had no issue. Had no issue till about shot 15 in practice when it broke. Stunning!!!! Speechless at this point, never in 20yrs of archery have I seen that.
Thaanks...good info...I have the right equipment which makes things easier. I have purchased replacement strings from you and always had good service and a good product.
Replacing cable and string on my TenPoint Turbo XLT it requires 5 twist (4 on bottom, 1 on top) and 15-16 twist on string. Which directions are the twist made?
Thanks. Had a string break on me at the end loop. Went to 60 X but none for my particular Xbow. I'm assuming archery shops around me have a press. Not all will work on a Barnett! Any reason?
No offence meant, but ratchet straps are just plane ill-suited for this application. They allow the force to be re-applied much to rapidly and with no control.
We would either need to know the string and cable lengths or make and model. Without either of those we wouldn't know what to build. If there are still strings on the bow you could take it to a local shop and they may be able to help.
There was no strings at all with it and I can't find any make or model on it. I haven't removed the stock to see if there is any there. Have taken it to a few shops but everyone seems reluctant to help with it for what ever reason 🤷♂️
Absolutely agree re-stringing a cam crossbow is really easy..................
That is IF you have a $400-$500 table top bow press.
Watched someone do it on UA-cam with a screw driver and cocking rope.

Was under the impression it was a good idea to loosen off your limb retaining bolts when pressing a crossbow? Not required with this type of press?
Where is the timing marks supposed to be at on centerpoint sniper 370

What model do you have? We make strings for all barnetts except 1 model. Each model takes a specific string length.
After putting new strings on do you have to resight your bow in
yes you will need to resight the crossbow
Do you need to have a press tableto do this
yes you will need a press
Did you check the timing???
I got a pse xb 275 how would I go about replacing the steel cables
I doubt you will find replacement cables anywhere. Steel cables are obsolete for the most part.
Pro tip use ratchet straps if you don’t have a press
What would i need to do for that to work?
I would not do this... how will you release the strap when your done.. you would have to hope everything falls right in to place with the snap.

i ordered 1 for my Q 300 but the instruction said i would have to trim off some parts and bass pro shop refused to install it
CW to tighten on your strings, correct?
yes, cw will shorten our strings
@@bradpatsy9685 thanks 👊
Thank you
So how do you workout what strings you need if you get a bow with no strings attached?
No numbers on the bow anywhere to even say what brand it is

I have a bow and sting snapped but I don’t know what size it is
what is the make and model of your crossbow?
all you gotta do is buy a $500 crossbow press
