AFTER R24, KNIT WITH CC UNTIL YOUR DESIRE LENGTH WHICH IS CLOSE TO THE TOP OF YOUR HEAD, LIKE ABOUT 2” AWAY.
DECREASE TOP OF THE HEAD
ADD Ms IN BETWEEN MARKERS WHICH MEANS EVERY 12 STS
KNIT UNTIL LAST 2 STS BEFORE EVERY Ms, THEN K2TOG
YOU DO THIS UNTIL 1 LAST STS IN BETWEEN Ms
WHICH MEANS YOU WILL KNIT 11 MORE ROWS
[STOP!! & THINK!! NOW!!]
IF YOUR 11 ROWS ARE NOT ENOUGH TO COVER TOP OF YOUR HEAD, YOU NEED TO KNIT MORE ROWS BEFORE DECREASING!
CHECK YOUR GAUGE!!!
AFTER DECREASE, ALL KNIT X 1 ROUND
WEAVE THE END
ABBREVIATIONS
K=KNIT
R=ROW
MC OR M=MAIN COLOR
CC OR C=CONTRAST COLOR
K2TOG=KNIT 2 TOGETHER

I can't wait to try this! Do you have tips on changing the needles without losing stitches?
Hi thank you for your comment. Do you have an interchangeable needles? If so just hold stitch and change, but if you worry about the other side, you should use the stopper, something like that......, Good luck and Enjoy knitting!
I just knit off the old needle and on to the new size when I have to change sizes.
