I must say Justin, it sure is exciting to see you back on the Case SC.
Had you not commented on my other video, I would have missed this video!

Thanks! I'm back on it for now. That and the grapple, which is almost done!

Great video Justin, I am not a mechanic, so I won't offer any ideas, but I do have faith you will figure it out 👍 Ben

You are getting there! I just got my 1953 DC Case running and had a similar no start issue and it ended up being that I had no spark.
Here is what I would do next:
1.) Confirm that you have spark from the magneto
2.) Confirm the firing order/ignition timing
These updraft carbs will spit/dribble fuel out when choking to start, since its trying to pull the fuel air mixture upwards through the intake, if you stop cranking or if its is cranking slow what is left in the intake tube will fall back down in-between intake pulses and run out the drain hole in the bottom of the carb, so that is also normal.
If you need help with the magneto I can give you a crash course basics on setting the points gap and timing it, just shoot me an email, it should be on my channel page. I can't remember from your other videos if it has the Case mag on it or not, but they are all pretty similar. You need to time the rotor button internally and then time the mag to #1 cyl on the tractor. They can seem mysterious and confusing because of the impulse wind up but they really are not.
Someone mentioned that it needs to turn over faster, the speed that is turning over is pretty typical for the 6V system, dad has 3 of these and they can be hand cranked with ease, so I think you are fine there.

Thanks for the tips! I did verify that I had spark but I think it is weak. I think when I finally get back to working on it, I was going to check timing and dig into the magneto a little more. I believe it is the case magneto as it has the case emblem on it. I will reach out to about the magneto as I couldn't find a ton of info on it. Unfortunately it will be a few months before I have time and money to work on it. Had some other major repairs and projects pop up so the fun projects have to wait.

@@JustCaidsDayFarm could be as simple as running a file through the points. Just let me know when you’re ready. I may just make a video on how to time one and upload it so others can see as well.

As I was editing I was wondering if it was just cranking too slow.
