All thanks to you I'm not afraid to play ranked games. I owe you a big one, my anxiety when playing ranked is gone and I improved a lot. I'm very thankful i found your channel, i'm not afraid to risk failures because of you. Thanks
Unfortunately, I’ve got that problem - between my playstyle in a game I play that has competition and Ranked Mode - into thinking either its me being a particular weapon type user - or even the feeling that the Ranked System is Rigged.
You call yourself eAthlete Labs, but the advice you give can be applied to so much more in life. I'm currently struggling to motivate myself to study for my finals. The insight of setting process-based goals and forming habits is something ill try right away. Thanks for the motivation and great work!
Your videos on mental management and performance psychology are some of the best around. I've been in the training industry since 1987, learned the importance of performance psychology in 1993 and am absolutely thrilled to see this type of quality information out there available for free. Hats off to all of you at eAthlete Labs, you're building better gamers and humans, and showing exactly why gaming is important, not just entertaining (although it is certainly that when performing at your best or watching masters of their games performing at theirs). Keep up the great work - much love and respect.
1. Think of the things/habits you know you have to do/have but you don't. 2. Make the habits easy to do or start them small(more likely the habit gonna stick with you, you can start aimtraining for 1 minute/day or 1 round of a weapon). 3. Enjoy the benefits. For example my goals(I play LoL): 1. I play mid and jungle, i should only play few champions now so i can focus on the game more rather than on my champ's limits. I should watch the minimap more often cuz when having the right amount of information i can make right calls but i often miss informations(i peaked around rank 205 on eune). 2. I'll only play lee sin in the jungle(i'll need 2 backup junglers just in case) and i'll only play orianna(i already have backups here) on mid. Before every ranked sessions i'll go to a custom game and watch the minimap after every single minion kill for the first 3 waves.
Man thank you so much for your videos they changed my life I went from a depressed low self esteemed player to more confident focusing more on improving I had a fixed mindset before I learnt this from your video
I reached a top tier rank by watching your videos when im lost mentally! Glad you exist man. But now I need advice from you as i currently deal with this problem; my friends(teammates) keep ridiculing me when i make mistakes during our games, in the end i can't explore and learn from my mistakes but end up living up to their expectation and is bugging me mentally. How do I deal with this?
Recognize your own fear to protect your ego. Sometimes teammates are point out constructive things. If they are simply being negative then confront them about it. A team that allows a standard of toxicity will inevitably fall apart.
@@eathletelabs thanks for the advice, you're truly the man! But yes you're right, i realize we don't have a bright future ahead of us in terms of esports and as a team because confronting about how i feel will just end up affecting the atmosphere of our friendship, so in competetive games I'll just have to set to aim for top ranks on my own.
@@quandaledingleberry5831 i know this is a bit late comment, and I don't know the nature of you and your teammates friendship. But if you were my teammate, and told me That you feel like Im making Fun of your mistakes, and you get self-consious about it. I Would respect that and stop. What i am trying to say is: I think your teammates will understand, and ultimately want you to feel about good playing with them.
I had plans, I had the Ultimate Goal to the Highest Rank and be a Known Player… but obviously Failed. Realizing I only went way over my head on it all, and finding out I’ve reached my limit, and that the Highest Rank is only for the real top dogs, and it ain’t me. I recently turned in a notice that I want to Change to Day Shift, because Nights had taken a toll on me, and want to reconsider trying again on the next game… but I’m concerned that the Same Thing will only happen again.
Probably the last comment I will make from this YT account but, I have no choice but to create a name for myself after the realization I have attained. You all will see me again and I hope to see all of you along side me as I learn everything I can to make a name for myself after almost 8 years of procrastinating. I'll make sure to pick up another bottle of your supplements because I have a dream to reach peak level performance in a short amount of time simply by discipline. Yes, I know, it's nearly impossible. Everyone is different and when we figure out how different we are, we can figure out how powerful we can become. Thank you for not straying from your path because it has allowed me to take a step back to grasp mine for once and I shall not falter anymore.
@@eathletelabs Hoping your course selects me and if it does, we may have a chance at proving the other regions wrong. Back to the grind and thank you for everything.
Imagining the same movements and mouse control you'd want to see yourself do in-game. Image training has been shown to improve top athletes even when they aren't physically practicing. Simply imagining doing it perfectly can improve performance.
I have a question I know I want to be a pro or semipro player and I want to make content in shouter games but i don't really have my favorite game I tried cod, lol and valorant and I don't feel that they that go to get the effect to it I'm right to know traying to get batter on all these game but in warzone, it's the most what should I do and what should I have to focus on
I am also a pro gamer but I am a different type of pro gamer I am a speedrunner with world records in atleast 10 different games which probably means I will never get rich like an eSports player but it's not about getting rich it's about having fun doing what I love to do and have those major skills in gaming having world records and alot of money is only really a bonus really I'm not a esports pro but am in speedrunning I love having records and doing stuff in a professional way that I've been doing for my whole life basically I might want to be a pro esports gamer some day though but if I did want to become a professional eSports player it would probably be in smash Bros or Mario Kart or something not really into call of duty or fortnite or whatever I've never played fortnite actually but pro smash player might be something could look into far down the line but mostly just having fun and doing things I've enjoyed doing for years 😊😄☺️
All previous content was researched and written by one person. But the goal is to scale things up this year and get more writers involved so we can get out more videos.
You can try to make a video on how to get better at mobile gaming as well.... Like how to move your fingers fast, learning claw technique and how to plan and similar stuff especially in battle royale games like free fire
Don't know how I bumped onto this. Anyway Awesome clip ❤️😄. I also watched those similar from MStarTutorials and kinda wonder how you guys make these clips. MStar Tutorials also had cool information about similiar things on his vids.

Awesome, keep it up!
This is what's helped me improve, setting non-skill rating based goals.
Keep that practice up!
This channel and community is a godsend
11:50 this is actually very true. If you meditate for a good 5-10 minutes minimum before aim training, omg... you become a literal aim/focus GOD.
Its a great habit, that not enough people have tried yet!
