Couldn't agree about mineralization bar more, I don't even pay attention to it really, I dig in too many iron infested areas to not dig because of that. I hear a good mid or high tone in iron I just dig. This is going to be a fantastic machine! I love the simplex and used it daily for over 3.5 years. The Ultra has everything the Simplex was missing in terms of being customized and fine tuning.

I think Nokta would be wise to make it selectable frequency to complete with the New budget machine. I know its not necessary but people will feel they are getting more options with selectable frequencies.
I Got use to the simplex quack noise after a while now I kinda like it.
I have mention maybe a 4 and 30 each side of 15 , but it is performing really well as it is tbh they have gone with speed , it has a very fast processor in it
@@HistoryRevisiteduk I hear ya but I think they need to offer more if they want the machine be as big of a hit as the original simplex. I think alot of people will view the new simplex versions as same machine with a few little upgrades if they dont do something drastic. Like selectable frequencies.
How much is the new machine going to cost no one mentioned this important piece of the puzzle

So , Simplex ultra is just a Simplex+ with a firmware update.
Very different machine
Still waiting for someone to do a Beach test. And will the actual retail units be just as good as these prototypes? ...time will tell

I'm waiting until a comparison is done between this and Vanquish 540, (a tried and tested machine).
I sold my Simplex+ due to it being poor on highly mineralized/iron infested ground. Hope this Ultra fares better? Love the build quality on these Nokta Makros.
Are you right now back to 99 tones, recently I saw you preferring the 99 tones, not sure if that was before or after this, I think i will stay with 99 tones since most of my coins are bronze and each one is a little different. ( medieval Japanese)
Just listen for the lower levels on the scale Saw a other guy say that it is better depth on the field mode than 99 tones, maybe just talk , anyway thanks for all the info, have a Legend and Manticore ,but getting to like the Ultra very much on dry land 👍🏻

Nice Detector Simplex ultra
on my sons Ultra I'm using 3 tone and removing the iron discrimination but when you turn off and on again it resets. Is there no way of saving this as it's really bugging me that I have to do it every time.

Hi, Have you tried an air test with some iron . It’s an automatic feature , I would think you would have to run ground off disc pattern
