Yeah you don't see many for sale second hand do you. That's a sign of a detector people hold onto knowing it's good and gets better with updates. I own one and I've had it for almost a year now. Awesome and like the previous comment it can be tweeked to master heavy iron sites and pick out them small roman coins in bad ground :)

Once mastered its the rolls Royce of detectors.

We visit the Cotswold area in mid-late September from Newfoundland, Canada. Is there an invitation hunt during that time in that area?

Nice van, what things have you done to it for metal detecting? Is that drinking water or for cleaning? I have put a 5l hand pump pressure washing bottle in my car, so I can clean of the mud easily, also a tire cleaning brush, with long handle which is great to clean you’re shoes or wellies without having to bent to much.

I've been using Ir wrong - until now. Just went out to play with different Ir settings once I found a target. Now I get it! There's a lot of iron in the ground here at my land. Trying different Ir settings really does help to confirm deep iron in Beast. I went back and forth with the backup all metal program, too. Doing this does make a huge difference in identifying the target. Thanks again.

That Rutus Versa is a nice machine....I've had the 71 and Atrex, loved the 71 but disappointed with the Atrex and its screen so ended up with a Deus 2 and I am very pleased I did.....but do like the look of that Versa.....great test thanks ;0)

Has any other brands brought out this on/off holster feature? one thing I find with the pinpointers is the constant turning it on and making sure you turn it off, which I doubt myself alot being new and gettin used to it all. Some guy mentioned the holster feature so started looking it up but after reading comments now i'm questioning this brand with the cold weather glitches??
