everytime I see Uro in one of these drafts it always does a ton of work, on top of having a lot of cool little synergies like the Dress Down one. in my eyes it's an underappreciated card that should get picked earlier on average

2:20 memory jar is a draw 7 at instant speed that cost no mana, which allows you to do stuff such as flash, crack jar in response, let flash resolve and use a creature from your new 7 card hand to flash in. Since you most likely have more than one of these, you have a good chance to roll one in the next 7 cards (in particular if you didn't have any in your previous hand)
I'm surprised you didn't go for the double block at the end of match 1. It's not actually conceding the game because you have Teferi as an out. Your opponent is incentivized to go for removal with DT, which means they might not have a Counterspell. The single block seems a lot less likely to work than simply hoping to topdeck Teferi, which takes care of Colossus and redraws.
13:46 I wouldn't normally consider Crafterhoof for this kind of deck, but could it be right here? I suppose if you have threats in play with this deck you're already winning, but with your dorks you could cast it if need be, but it could also work with flash.
Finally! Been waiting forever!! 😂 This is one of the only drafts a would disagree with the master. I would have gone full broken, more big dudes, sneak, recurring nightmare them back, tracker/reclaimer/crop rotation, etc. I'm sure in a team draft you want to go for consistency, but go big baby!!
Would have like to see sharp eyed rookie being played ( pick at 3:53) to see if it's any good ine the cube. I think it could have been good in this deck, Flashing in a Woodfall primus would trigger it twice for example
@18:48 did you play Undermountain Adventurer first because you didn't want them to block the Hexdrinker? My thought was to attack first since there's a decent chance they trade.
After they spellbinder Questing Beast and them sitting on just mana rocks + Dark Depths and missing land drops, would leveling Hexdrinker instead of playing Undermountain be better? We deny initiative to help them fetch a land and make their mana more painful.
I woulda taken that prismatic ending in that late pick when you took deathrite shaman. It’s a really good answer in your 4 color deck that easiy reaches 5 colors with Mox Diamond, caryatid, lotus cobra, etc.
Why not play grist? U had ignoble, caryatid, lotus cobra, mox Diamond, and that’s without adding your black dual or counting incidental black from things like treasures (bank buster), or initiative (if u played a basic swamp)
The aggro decks tend to be the most successful. When they come together they are fast and consistent and they are good at fun-policing the nonsense that some people often try to get away with
@@cowgirlqueen2636 White is also generally somewhat underdrafted on MTGO so playing white aggro of any form tends to do well. In these team drafts, you see boros aggro do well but not in an outlier way, because people pickup the strong red and white cards or hate draft them.

ashen rider flash is still kind of a 2 for 2

I think the main reason for it not to be drafted higher is the strict mana cost.

Maybe I’m just bad at magic but I have the most success in vintage cube with white and red aggro decks
Also so ok With tempo decks in Jeskai and grixis. Some success with reanimator. Lose a lot in green
