Well, Lictor is 4 after all. But I quite like Triarch Praetorian if the slot's open. Solid aggressive card, bit of gas later-game with its ability, a real banger with Unearth as a card.
Mawlock and Chaos defiler have been the standouts from 40k in my cube, old one eye is also kinda nice. I'm curious to see how those and the other inclusions work out in your cube?
LSV sees an Urza, Takes an Urza. On brand! (Also, and far be it from me to criticize the literal master, but I feel like you give up the broken lanes in the draft to make your deck more consistent.. the cube is insane these days, I think you have to go all-in on brokenness more often!) Edit: spelling
I've watched him lose with this exact deck (promising green ramp deck that gets baited into an unreliable artifacts theme by Urza and Workshop) several times since the channel launched. If you start a draft heavy green and get passed a Natural Order, Channel, Fastbond, GSZ, Craterhoof, Utopia Sprawl, ideally you wouldn't level yourself into a build that can't use any of them. Those are the payoffs for being green! Take yes for an answer!
I was waiting for this to happen as soon as Titania didn’t wheel. Everyone has their preferences and tendencies, but I do believe that LSV disrespects the green stuff. Definitely not the strongest color in cube but when you can have everything and more…?
I don't know what the story is, but oracle text on gatherer says it costs 2g. Could be that it costing 3g is a misprint, could be that oracle text has a typo. I bet that mtgo and oracle text use the same database, so in the gameplay of this draft it cost 3.
Was thinking the same thing. Needed a little more oomph… I know he said he didn’t care about the craterhoof but he had flash, gsz and the natural order and Hoof woulda won him the game almost every single match lol.
I feel like all the green decks lately have been subjected to severe flooding. It's why I don't like green in general, its play pattern is often ramp into nothing, or have a bunch of beef stranded in your 2 land no dorks hand.
So upsetting to see the variance in magic when one player gets land screwed. Always a feels bad moment when you beat them up with an unfair fight. Part of the game, but that’s one thing that when I first started to play hearthstone it was appealing but with that game starting with 3 cards made high curve decks just not function.
It's a weird choice insofar as Chaos Defiler is from the same set, same cmc, almost the same body (5/4 trample vs 5/3 flash), but destroys any nonland permanent on EtB *and* on death. That's the include over Necron Deathmark and/or the outmoded Ashen Rider.
Yeah but if the cards are good and fun then it's a net positive to the game. Comet has been in the cube for a while its from an un set. Do you wanna look at fun game play or IP exclusive to WotC?
@@Cthuski I don't want to sit down to cube in five years time and equip a Lightsaber to Batman and attack my opponent's Hermione Granger, however fun or well-designed those cards are.
LSV is going to use his Jedi mind tricks to convince us that mana crypt isn’t power
mana crypt can't be power because it is a known and accepted fact that LSV never opens power, duh
It isn’t. It’s a book promo
It the dark confidant of sol rings.
@@milanfillipi5656 It's not literally power, but it's functionally power. Kind of the opposite to Timetwister.
Hey LSV, I just want to tell you that you are my favorite UA-cam channel and I watch your videos everyday. Thank you
This time LSV will surely take the Hoof right? ... _Anakin stare_
This time of all times felt like the time, if not now then it's strange to me that it's in the cube.

I did want to see some 4 Dorks + Flashoof in action.
You had 15 mana and said you need to get the game over and decided to take Sensei’s Top off Trinket Mage instead of Ballista?

@35:15 You could have made Weak And Mightstone uncounterable by getting mana from the Halfling
I was definitely shouting "But it's legendary!" when I saw that go down. That force of negation was pretty telegraphed.
I totally missed that, thanks for commenting!

Game 1, Should have used saheeli to make mana crypt a copy of Esika’s Chariot and keep the original chariot to stop the damage from the crypt.
I think he hoped to use the mana rather than destroying that though

it only costs 3 in the world of the mind
Forensic Gadgeteer really impressed me in the MTGO cube. Comboing with Urza to make all of your artifacts cantrip for free is insane.

Sicarian infiltrator seems great. Not sure all the 40k additions are going to make it but that one is a banger

Lsv may be the master but he definitely makes mistakes and questionable choices
I knew when you passed on Ramunap you’d find the fastbond!
I love currency converter
Is Sicarian Infiltrator the blue forth eorlingas?
Was that the rare 0-3 into 4-0?
Test out Old One Eye if you cut lictor!
Great showcase of the new to online cards testing for cube! not sure what the comment is about Lictor costing 3, at least in paper costs 4.

I was kinda confused why LSV added it to the cube at 4 mana it looked kinda mopey. At three it's pretty interesting tho.
I don't get why going into to G2 M1, you don't board in death deathrite shaman knowing they have fastbond ramanup land destruction
I too forget that Saheeli has another ability in addition to her static.
Not playing the surveil land is wild in my opinion with 2 fetches that can go get it
Flash over GSZ seemes crazy to me. Flash only works with 1 card and the deck has enough mana to GSZ every creature in the deck on turn 4
All ramp no pamp 😢
I was thinking why wouldnt you want the Sail into the west on this kind of deck. Game 1 showed it would be awesome

Doesnt mtgo vintage cube let you change decks between matches? Suppose it is unfair in a team draft when you have meta info being shared

lictor mtgo rebalance?
I think the gatherer version is just incorrect for some reason
The gatherer picture or the gatherer text?
Lictor?? I hardly know'er!
Necron Deathmark seems worse than Ravenous Chupacabra.
Being able to flash it in and it being an artifact are both extremely relevant, but 4 vs. 5 mana is a big difference. Hard to tell without playing it.
It's also a very relevant threat whereas chupacabra is decidedly not.
