Cool video, and thanks for sharing these, mate! Regarding your comment about the Kuei-jin supposed to be having crazy abilities. They do. The one who chucked fireballs was Kuei-jin. All of the people in orange, black, and red were just people.
Glad you're enjoying our videos! Well that's a surprise. I thought they were all Kuei-jin. Makes me wonder how the Anarchs managed to get beaten by them, considering most of Xiao's army is made of humans. But then again, power scaling in this game is a bit weird. Our fledgeling character does some crazy stuff despite being a young kindred.
@@ButWordsRemain These are just the individuals that stay in the temple and constantly guard Ming Xiao. I'm pretty sure that, much like with the Kindred, the Kuei-Jin have their own places that they stay. Just remember that your vision shows white auras for humans and red auras for actual supernatural critters. Only the fireball hurler had the red aura. And, considering how flammable Kindred are, it makes sense that one of them could tear through a bunch. As well as looking at what Ming Xiao did with her transformation.
@@dimitriusvoldun8031 That's true about their aura! I didn't pay much attention to it since the base game's Auspex is a bit inconsistent with aura color (it shows ghouls having the same aura as normal humans if I recall). Also, we should consider that the Anarchs probably didn't mount a properly organized resistance, which may have made the Kuei-Jin's job a bit easier. I really can't see all the baronies coming together to help. Some, like the Voerman sisters, would probably just try to save their necks. But maybe that's my Camarilla side speaking, heh.
@@ButWordsRemain When you look at the canon raid that occurred, the Kuei-jin slowly filtered in a large number of their kind as well as their followers. Once they had a large number hidden within the various Chinatowns in California, they then attacked en masse. And, for the most part, a starting level Kuei-jin will win in a fight against a starting level Kindred. This is just looking at the base mechanics for both. Add in the number of sappers that had been slowly planted within the borders, and a LOT of California fell. It took a bit for the Anarchs to respond, just because of the surprise attack. It then became one hell of a bloody war that the Anarchs managed to FINALLY fight to slightly past a standstill. They actually organize pretty quickly, as long as there is anybody charismatic around, i.e. Nines or the like.
@@dimitriusvoldun8031 I really need to look more into the other creatures of the WoD (Kuei-Jin, Garou, Hunters, etc). They all seem very interesting (and scaringly capable of killing vampires). You seem very knowledgeable about the WoD. Thank you for your comments!
I love this game. Just reinstalled it a few days ago and I have the Unofficial Patch as well so I'm excited to try this after my playthrough. This character definitely feels like a Van Helsing type. Too bad he can't transform into a Werewolf.
As I understand, Hunters within the World of Darkness don't get along too well with werewolves either. Especially the ones from the Society of St. Leopold. But a modern Garou game would be awesome. There are many different aspects of the WoD that would make for great video games.
After a year i feel that i must say: General Kenobi!
You are a bold one!
I love these playthroughs so much! Always wait for them, haha ✨
Glad you like them!

Muito show 👏
Duncan Macleod vs vampires . Bitchin.
Can't really not see it with the trench coat and the katana, right?
@@ButWordsRemain The face and hair style are also like spot on.
I don't think it's the computer. Mine is pretty good but I still had some problems during this mission. Not to mention the train mission in WG mod...
Probably an optimization problem then. Good to know!
the machine gun has a zoom to aim, you use it like you fan with the anaconda
Ah yes. I suppose that would make for better accuracy. I'll have to remember to use it next time!
@@ButWordsRemain I don't even know why I felt I needed to say that, it really doesn't matter lol
@@avtist5639 You just made an observation. Thx for pointing that out.
