Sorry but that radiator just reminded me of building work in North Africa.
Basically, the builders over there will always take the quickest, easiest and cheapest route to any solution.
One time I saw these guys putting a huge satellite dish up on a roof. They had no way to secure the mast holding the dish, so they got some guys to hold it steady, whilst everyone else shovelled a cone of concrete around the post, until there was this giant cone of concrete mortar. I mean technically it worked, but when it was dry it wobbled, so they had to push stuff down into it to shim the post into position.
Now consider this. That was a flat roof in a dump south Egyptian town. Those buildings are structurally less safe than some mud huts. And these clowns just made a post support by piling nearly two tonnes of concrete into a pile.
One day there will be a breaking news story about how a two tonne, 2 metre wide, cone of concrete, collapsed through a roof and took out all twelve rooms as it punched its way through ever single floor.
Dunno why I watch these. Nothing infuriates me more than "not my job, not my job" lmao
