The Animorphs offers a pretty cool, albeit a bit savage, perspective with the idea of being trapped in one's own body. Worth the experience even though I haven't read them all myself xD
Surprisingly spot on about the book series lol. The morphs were never described as hurting (just having a distant feeling like you know it's supposed to hurt) but they are described as being absolutely horrifying, so horrifying that the characters prefer to look away from each other lest they scream in horror or vomit at the sight. They would also occasionally lose their ability to scream mid-morph if the animal didn't have the vocal chords to support it (a common occurrence given that they turned into flies, fleas and cockroaches more time than they would have liked). The books also described the morphs as happening in random ways, that is, not everything at once. There were times when characters fell on their faces because they lost their legs mid-morph, and one of the characters was actually talented at morphing, being able to control how she morphs (like one time where she lost her wings last coming out of bird morph so she looked kinda angelic doing so) Aside from the morphing, as other comments mentioned, it's a surprisingly dark series about alien invasions, child soldiers, not knowing who you could trust, genocide, body horror, moral ambiguity, bodysnatchers, guerilla warfare, and of course, how freaking cool the animal kingdom is.

I don’t know if y’all will see this or not, but these past few months I’ve been in such a dark place. I suffer from Bipolar 1 disorder and experience a lot of thoughts of, how should I put this, not wanting to be here?
I experience severe highs and lows, and when I get low, I get *low.*
I have been watching y’all’s videos for a couple of years now, but these past few months of watching your content has really made a impact on my mental health.
In all of your videos, y’all express extreme joy and happiness, and overall positivity.
I don’t know how just watching videos could have helped me out of this rut, but it has.
I was on the verge of doing something I wouldn’t be able to take back, and I just want y’all to know how much I appreciate your positivity, and teamwork.
I also have learned so much about digital art, and behind the scene work in films. My two biggest passions, _Art_ and _film._
I’m sure I am not the only one that has benefited from this content.
Thank y’all so much for spreading positivity and education and several different things.

I just imagine that on the job description there is “You must be 3D scanned and put into our network” and you cannot say no

Yes, although there's probably going to be some "salty" replies.

Make this a series! Now you gotta transform into your ideal Transformer.
"Platonic things between men in the dark"
- Jordan 2023 (2:30)
Adding "In the closet" would have nailed it
I don't think that was Jordan
The chameleon was truly marvelous
This is the greatest channel currently active on the UA-cam platform
*I'm convinced that it is the perfect time for Hollywood to make an animorphs movie!!!*
There are too many books. cram them into one movie would be a disaster
@@NyGeL_Derey Animorphs Cinematic Universe?
It was in production some years back...then the KA Applegate couple dropped out citing creative differences. I think its dead in the water.
The books have had a resurgence in brand recognition, the tech is there, and dark-n-broody YA is totally in. I dunno about movie, but it's perfect streaming series fodder. We can work up to the _Chronicles_ books as cinematic experiences if the format works.
I believe it’d be better for Hollywood to adapt it as a TV show for Disney+ alongside their upcoming Percy Jackson and Spiderwick Chronicles shows.
