  • Having balanced energy center (or chakras) is important for your physical, mental, and spiritual health. Several times a week, I do some sort of a energy center or chakra meditations= for this reason. I can really feel a difference in myself. I've had some incredible moments, mystical experiences, and just feel great afterwards also. I really feel that once all your energy centers are balanced, everything in your life is balanced: your mind, body and spirit (and health).

    This is a Yogic/Tantric practice dating back thousands of years.
    Traumatic life experiences can cause energy to get blocked in one or more of the chakras ( “energy centers” in Joe Dispenza’s model).
    We all have been traumatized in one way or another. It’s just an inescapable part of human existence.
    There are many illustrations of where these images lie in Google images but this lady does a great job in pinpointing their approximate location. According to Tantric practice:
    The root chakra is associated with physical issues like arthritis, constipation, and bladder or colon problems, or emotionally through feeling insecure about finances or our basic needs and well-being. When it’s in alignment and open, we will feel grounded and secure, both physically and emotionally.
    Issues with the second chakra, the sacral chakra, can be seen via problems with the associated organs, like urinary tract infections, lower back pain, and impotency. Emotionally, this chakra is connected to our feelings of self-worth.
    Given a feeling of self worth is critical to believing we are worthy of healing (or any blessing), this is probably why Joe begins this guided imagery with “Love yourself enough… .”
    The third Chakra, the solar plexus chakra, is associated with
    digestion and it’s the chakra of our personal power-showing again the ancients knew we are what we eat for better or worse.
    The fourth chakra, the heart chakra is “the bridge” between the lower three and the upper three. Think connection. it also represents our ability to love and connect to others. When out of alignment or “blocked”, it can make us feel lonely, insecure, and isolated-all which suppress the immune system and can cause heart disease. It has been said that chronic loneliness is as toxic as smoking 15 cigarettes a day.
    Moving along, the fifth chakra, the throat chakra, is associated with our is connected to our ability to communicate verbally.
    When we can’t express our true feelings or needs, suppressing those needs constricts our lives and we wind up in situations that grind us down emotionally and physically-dead-end jobs, unsatisfying relationships, and basically living a life of quiet desperation. As problematic, when we do speak, our frustration will result in negative words which only aggravate the situation.
    The sixth chakra is located between the eyebrows and if “blocked” prevents us from seeing the big picture or using our intuition to its fullest extent. Again, this was pretty insightful of the ancient masters given it’s proximate to the cerebral cortex which plays a key role in memory, thinking, learning, reasoning, problem-solving, emotions, consciousness and functions related to your senses.
    If this chakra is compromised imagination is also and where would we be if we couldn’t imagine being healed, prosperous, or see a life beyond our trials?
    The seventh chakra located at the crown of the head is linked to every other chakra (and therefore every organ in this system), and so it affects not just all of those organs, but also our brain and nervous system. Those with a blocked crown chakra may seem narrow-minded or skeptical. Such people do not accept, as Shakespeare noted that, “There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy.”
    The downside of rigid skepticism is that it often is inconsistent with happiness.
    It’s common to feel the need to meditate on different chakras at different times. One need not focus on all seven in one sitting. I have been astonished by the experiences following just focusing on the root chakra. Just paying attention to the pleasant sensations dormant in a chakra can be enough if we at the same time express gratitude for our bodies which truly are “fearfully and wonderfully made”.

    I truly appreciate how you have explained almost all kinds of doubts one can have with feeling the centers or focusing on each center . It’s all abstract and one may get lost. You have been a good guide

    I've recently found Dr. Joe and have been reading his book titled Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself. I'm at section 3 where he describes his meditation practice. Really exciting. Great book. I always wake up around 3AM and have been trying to meditate at that time. I'm a big believer of Solfeggio frequencies and apply those tones to each Chakra while meditating. Meditative Mind is a UA-cam channel that has many videos using frequencies and colors which is another thing that helps me imagine each energy center. My favorite video is titled Quick 7 Chakra Cleansing 3 Minutes per Chakra. I hear the tone imagine the chakra by color and try to open it. It works well for me. If I could just quiet my mind longer I'm sure it would work better but I'm working on that. Your videos are really great. Thanks for posting. Peace. :D

      It is hard for me to quiet my mind too. If you get his meditation that goes along with the book, it is extremely guide and powerful. My mind rarely wanders when I do it.
      I use meditative mind too!! It’s about the only good meditations I can find on UA-cam. I used the sacral chakra meditation while at the Cancun event and had a great release in that center! I’m going to recommend that channel to people trying to work more specifically on their chakras.

      I love doing my meditations in the middle of the night! It’s the only time where I’m guaranteed quiet in the house 😂 and I love the chakra tone recordings too, I use those in the morning. The one I use is on Insight Timer for free.

    Thank you so much for this guidance. I have just done BOTEC 1 again , and for the first time I really felt something. From my heart I started to blub for a few seconds, then whilst in my throat ,back of head and front of eyes , tears ran down , but it felt good ,not sad. I also felt the warm tingling energy when I outstretched my arms, it was amazing.
    I will be doing this everyday now if not twice. I will also now try to work on my lower 3 more too. Thank you again 🩶

    For me it took approx 2 months of meditation everyday before my body started shaking with a mind of its own

      This just started happening to me too after 8 months of meditation and today morning I was doing BOTEC meditation and finally getting the shakes minimal but they’re there 🤗

    This is so encouraging because I struggle with that meditation. I find it most laborious and I often choose another mediations in preference to the blessing of the energy systems. I think I should focus more on the Lessing of the energy systems.

    Great video, thank you! I have a question: is there anything you do before a BOTEC meditation to prep?
    I feel like I should come in feeling more elevated emotions since there’s not a lot of (or any) induction to do this during the meditation. Then I feel like I’m struggling a little to feel elevated emotions on demand. Thanks!

    I'm so grateful for your videos! They're truly helpful. I've been doing blessing of the energy centers for about 4-5 months, and everytime when I get to my heart center, I tune into it's frequency easily, and after that also, for the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th energy centers. And it feels so amazing. That loving energy flowing through me is so wonderful!
    Since, I'm doing these meditations, I have a few questions for you:
    1. Do I need to put put different emotional intentions for each of the energy centers? E.g, for the root energy center I put infinite love, Divine energy, for the 2nd I put Divine immunity etc.
    Or
    I can have loving energy on my mind and with that go through each of the energy center with the ultimate intention to heal my spine?
    2. When I go to my 8th energy center do I need to keep my attention on all of the energy centers at the same time and feel the emotion?
    3. When I go from one to another energy center, do I need to keep my attention on all of my previous centers or just on that specific one?

      There is no right or wrong way to do it. All of what you said is fine to do if you feel the need to. Really just putting your attention in them alone is enough. He does has an advanced meditation where he has you bless each center with your heart. So you can attach emotions to it if you want. I personally find just focusing on opening up and balancing the centers is all that matters. You can set an intention if you want. If it’s a big intension, the universe already knows it’s in your heart. When I was healed, I didn’t specifically say to heal this, this, and this, it was just healed in so many ways and then some. I believe your wholeness is what heals you.
      As for thinking of the previous centers, it’s not necessary. He does have a few meditations where he asks you to focus on all the previous centers and balance and connect them. But once he moves into the next center, you should just focus on that center. Like I said there’s no right or wrong way to do it. Just play around with it.

    I have the BEC 1-4 recordings. I do like 1 and 3 (haven’t used 4 yet) but the updated version of 2 really distressed me.
    It starts out fine, but when you get to the throat he introduces vocalizations which I HATE during meditations… it destroys my focus 😢 this lady screaming in the background OM NAMAH SHIVAYAH while Dr Joe starts yelling over her sounding like a preacher and the music got really fast and loud… by the time we got to the crown I was in tears and my meditation was ruined, I had to stop before the end because of the cacophony.
    Am I the only one who can’t stand the vocalizations? He has them in almost all of his newest meditations; I wasted a lot of money before I realized that was the case and stopped buying his newer meditations. Maybe I’m not advanced enough, I don’t know. I’ve been doing his meditations for a while but haven’t attended a retreat. I’ve also done The Formula, as well as his Progressive and Intensive classes. Basically everything you can do online. But I still can’t stand the vocalizations no matter how much I try to ‘get past them’.

      I haven’t done BOTEC 2 in a while and did it the past two days and actually had incredible experiences! It made me cry both times (not in a bad way, but releasing things) It started at the throat with the music change. My husband did it too and was seeing things. I think the vocals are actually doing something. Ancient cultures knew stuff about chanting. My husband just got a book by Gregg Braden that talks about all this. I can understand why you wouldn’t like the music. Some people like it calm and relaxing. Maybe it’s shaking up and healing something inside you and your body doesn’t like it? There are plenty of other medications that don’t use vocals though.

    I think because I connect and FEEL so great doing The Breath (especially after Inspire V1), I have a VERY hard time with Energy Centers and Empty Space because I don't typically feel much at all...
    I like that you put an emphasis on you won't FEEL things right away (I did it very little since I started January 2022, and even after my first Weeklong in Orlando last November). I think I will try it more often not expecting to feel that miraculous healing right away!
    Does it matter how you sit, because I try sitting how you are in the video and its super uncomfortable since my derriere is huge LOL. Does it matter if your back is straight, because I like doing it on my coach but I'm always slightly at an incline even when sitting up?

      Again, it’s ok if you don’t feel anything. Just know, it’s still doing something when you focus on the energy centers. Your healing may be gradual. I think opening your heart and balancing your centers are key to healing. You need to be balanced in your heart and body. I think that’s why he emphasizes the breath too. He wants you to work on opening up that pineal gland. Then you have your body heart and mind working together.
      As fir sitting, sit however is comfortable for you. When you do the breath, I suggest a more firm chair so that you can get good posture. When I sit in bed or on a couch, I notice I can’t get as hood of a posture for the breath, but it works fine for the other meditations.

    Hey there! Thank you so much for your input! Your videos helped a lot to really understand what I’m actually doing :)
    I also watched your video on how to tune into frequencies.
    I have a questions about that: whenever I did BOTEC I just tried to „feel“ the energy center and then started to raise my emotions while I kept my attention in the specific center. So I imagined to fill the energy center with the emotion. I actually filled all the centers with the same emotion xD which is freedom in my case but I thought that it is just important to bring the centers into coherence again no matter how. I never thought about any frequencies or so. Is that still the right way to do it? Just filling the centers with any high emotion ? To bring them up, I usually have to think of a certain picture in mind that I connect to this emotions, so I guess that can be interpreted as a symbol, right? Even tough I’m actually doing BOTEC 1?

      There is really no right or wrong way to do them. I think that’s why Dr Joe keeps them somewhat vague. Do whatever you need to do to focus your attention in the centers. The idea is to take your mind off your body and in the centers. In fact I think feeling an emotion to each center is actually a really great idea!! When he talks about manifesting, he says to imagine it and draw it back to you with the emotion.

    Thank you so much for the explanation. I like doing my meditations in bed lying down in general. Is that ok? I’d appreciate your thoughts on that Thank you ❤

      I find that when I get out of bed and do them somewhere else I actually get deeper. When I’m in bed and laying down, I’m too comfortable and may not be trying as hard. It can also allow you to doze off. If you are sitting up if you size, you bring yourself back. You don’t want you brain the get to delta (sleep). You want to be in alpha or theta (or gamma) to make the magic happen. But it is ok to do it in bed. I admit i do it. I actually find walking meditations to be the most powerful for me.

    I’ve been looking for this everywhere and I’m so happy I stumbled with this video. You made it sound much easier now I feel that I can do it with a better sense of direction. THANK YOU!
    I do have a question, when he says to bless the center what is it that you say or think? I got a little lost there, can you repeat the same thing to all 8 of them? all I’ve been saying is “I bless you for all the amazing things you do for my body” and I repeat the same thing on each of them but I’m not sure if that is what is supposed to be done.

      Do whatever you feel you need to do. Basically you are giving them love and acknowledgment. This is you blessing them. If you want to speak to them, sense them, feel them, visualize them full of light, send them love, do whatever you are called to do. It’s all about the intention.

    I’ve been struggling with feeling my lower three energy centres. I’m seeing a healer at the moment who is helping to open closed centres. Her training is based on Hands of Light by Dr Barbara Ann Brennan. This energy healing work has been vital in helping me open and align my energy centres (I was leaking all my energy outside of my body and it wasn’t being replaced). I now feel ready to try Dr Joe’s healing of the energy centres meditation again ❤ Thanks for the explanations in your video 🙏 I have found it very helpful. I’m so happy you have been able to heal and transcend to higher frequencies. With love ❤️🙏🌻

      Yes energy healers are great at assisting you. We can all heal ourselves, but most of us don’t have enough faith and belief in it. That’s why Dr Joe does the healings at his events and online.

    When you focus on an energy center what are you supposed to be thinking of? Are you thinking of issues related to that area? Are you thinking about sending energy to that area? I’m having a lot of stress regarding health and money issues and having a hard time focusing I’m anything but that. Any suggestions?

    Salty Seven, thanks a lot for this video. I really can't find the words to express how grateful I am for all the time you take to help us. Can you share exactly what it means "to release" any of the energy centers? In my understanding, the moment you feel the center means it is already in place and it is ok. But, I think I do not understand it correctly.
    The problem with me is my fourth center with my heart. No matter what I did I couldn't feel it, but in the last few meditations I started to feel it in my chest, but like a physical pain, an unpleasant little pain. What should I do, how do I know that this center has already been released?
    And last thing - can I ask for another video where you can explain this eternal problem for most of us with the phrase "to become no one, nobody, nowhere". Thank you

      It’s hard to really explain the release. The idea is to tune the centers like a guitar, so you may not necessarily feel a release. As for me and others I’ve talked to, a release of any kind can come in so many different ways. For example, laughter, tears, yelling, heat or cold sensations, jerking on the body, buzzing, etc. sometimes you may come out if a meditation and just feel different, or lighter and know that there was a release. Many people struggle with the heart center. I’ve heard many people say that their heart actually hits when it’s opening up. I guess the heart Ahmad been holding tension for so long, that the release feels weird. I had a huge “knot” in my second center when I went to Cancun. After two days, I finally did one of the meditations and the knot and pain were gone. I think I had some stuck emotions and then released it.

    I've been doing botec every day for a year, and it's like I'm just lying on the floor with my eyes closed. Every time he says "Can you feel it?" I say No, because I don't feel anything. Needless to say, I still have my serious physical ailment. I'm desperate to get somewhere and heal.

      It’s ok if you don’t feel anything. Just by giving it attention, you are doing something to it. Try changing up what you do. Try some different meditations. Sometimes we get stuck in the routine of meditating and we are sending out the signal of, “I’m doing these, and they aren’t working”. The universe hears that and makes them not work for you.

      I noticed that what I was feeling I thought was pain was actually energy but my brain didn't know what it was so it associated it with pain. Maybe if you think of it that way it will help❤

      I agree with Christina. If it’s scary, uncomfortable and hurts, you can either stop or try to continue and see what happens. I have never gotten hurt from meditation. I have felt pain in spots where I knew needed healing. I interpreted it as stuck energy moving around those areas.

    Hi, recently i bought the botec 5 as i felt up to it. But i think it is horrible due to the yelling, like feel it! Stay with it! Notice it! And so on. It makes it impossible to have a higher feeling. Do you know, as your knowledge is so profound, why this one is performed this way? Maybe if i understand why, i can get along with it. Thanks!

      I’m not too sure why, but his website has a FAQ where someone asks why does his voice sound that way. I think I’ve just gotten used to it. I know at some events when I get deep and then all of a sudden he says something, it scares me.

      If I recall correctly, I read somewhere that the point is to keep your focus active during the meditation. Supposedly it helps keep your mind from wandering off. That said, I have seen others take the good doctors meditations and do their own versions where the instruction is more soft spoken. Personally it doesn’t bother me. I feel like there’s an adjustment period compared to more… let’s say casual meditations. That’s my take at any rate.

    Something I'm not understanding - why is the 6th center supposed to be the pineal gland, but it's between the back of the throat and back of the head? Isn't the pineal gland in the center of the head, ABOVE the pituitary gland which is the NEXT energy center? So confused - help appreciated!

      This has always confused me too. I think he means if you go straight up from the back of your throat and the go back from your 3rd eye (slight above and between the eyebrows), then it meets right where the pineal gland is. The 7th center is at the top right where a baby’s soft spot is.

    I used to do the Blessing among other meditations in the morning or in the evening. Not always I did them until sometime ago when I decided to pracftice them everyday morning and evening adding up some other meditation if I feel like it. I have felt certain changes in me. I am more tolerant and patient than before. The pain I had in my right arm that bother me for months is almost gone. The only change in my rutine was to incorporate the Blessings as part of my daily meditation routine.

      They are amazingly powerful. Sometimes I go through dry spells where I feel like the meditations aren’t doing much, then I’ll do a blessings of the energy centers and feel so amazing afterwards. I haven’t done one in a week and just did one this morning. Wow! I used to do them every other day and need to get back to doing it.

    Hi darling your videos are amazing. thank you so much. But I still have some doubts. I wonder if you could help me.
    I had an experience last week doing the meditation of the energy centres that scared me. When I got to the six centre suddenly my body became extremely hot and I became giddy. I came out of the meditation and it took me 10 minutes to feel normal again. Since than I have been doing the meditation without doing the breathing initially as he has 2 types of the meditation. Is it normal to have this kind of experience when doing the breathing as well?
    1- After I focus on the energy centre do I vizualize what I want to unblock in my life or what I want to become or just focus and that is it?
    2- When he says to bless ghe energy centre what am I supposed to feel or think or vizualize? I am really confused. I listened to many to try to find a way but I really would appreciate your help. Thank you.

      You can visualize this so many different ways. You can imagine, let’s say your neck and just imagine total blackness and only focus on your neck. You could also imagine your beck and then like zoom out of the earth into space and see you neck existing in the vastness of space.

      Hmm not sure what center that would be linked to. Sometimes bone loss in general is caused by mineral deficiency. In either case, I don’t know what center that would be. I would say just to work on balancing all of them. When they are all balanced and your heart is coherent, thats when the magic starts to happen.

    Thank you for this! What's confusing is that the 6th & 7th centers are often switched around interchangeably all over the internet. In the BECs I've heard, the pituitary is the 7th center/crown and the pineal is the 6th. I've always understood the pineal gland being the crown. Which is it???😅

      I still can’t confidently say either. I’ve heard it both ways too. I know the pituitary is located right behind the 3rd eye and effects the pineal gland. But then Dr Joe wants you to go to the back of your head to find the 6th center. Also the 7th center I think it pretty much in line with the pineal gland from above? I just know when I focus on 6 I focus on my forehead and back to my pineal gland and I can feel it. When I focus on 7, I focus on the top of my head. I think feeling it is more important than knowing the specific anatomy of it. 🤷🏼‍♀️

    When I focus on my energy centers one by one, I get so hot that I sweat. And there must be some vibration because my cats (3) then collect around me, want to be near me.

      I get hot during my meditations too, especially with the breath. My cats love to meditate with me. I think the Egyptians knew something about cats that we don’t.

    Thank you so much for this incredibly helpful. I attended a beginning event several years ago. An advanced event is not in the budget for me. I've been doing the blessing of the energy centers lying down, and I'm wondering if this is appropriate. This doubt affects the meditation, but it's so much easier for me lying down. Since he begins his meditations with " sit up straight, " I'm wondering if I'm doing it okay. Any input would be so greatly appreciated. I find Wendy pynn meditation I get a lot of twitching around the lip and mouth area. I have not experienced any other shaking. The problem is I'm really inconsistent with my practice. Your videos are greatly motivational. I can't thank you enough for your efforts. 🙏❤️

      Most certainly you can lie down if you want. He encourages you to sit up to not fall asleep. In some of his advanced meditations, he actually has you lie down. Don’t feel guilty. Although these are guided meditations, feel free to change things if you feel the need. But do know, he has a rhyme and reason for how, why, and when he does everything in his meditations. Many find when they do the work more consistently, the more effective and the better they feel. Think of it like going to work out. If you go every day, you get better effects sooner.     I enjoyed the video, but according to Joe's book Becoming Supernatural, the 6th and 7th energy centers are at the pineal gland and pituitary gland respectively, not where you said they were located in the video.

      Yes, if you are referring to the photo in the book, that shows which part of the endocrine system each energy center is linked to. If you look up where the chakras are located, it is slightly different than that photo. Your 6th center is located between your eyebrows and goes straight back to your pituitary gland and then down towards the back of your head into the pineal gland. The pituitary gland and pineal gland work together, but the pituitary gland is the dominant endocrine organ linked to the 6th center. Your 7th center in on top of your head. It goes through your soft spot and down into your pineal gland.
      You can research all you want about it. Various sources site them flip flopped. Just know their location, that is what is important.

      @@saltyseven Ah I see, you're going by the vedic chakra system, not Joe's from his book. (I'm listening to the audio book, and I'm doing the BOTEC meditation, and he describes the centers as being in a different location to the vedic chakra system.).
      I personally have no problem with that, and that explains why you show a picture of the chakra system in vedic spirituality.
      Have you checked out the work of Eileen Day Mckusick? She bases her work partially off the vedic chakra system. I've thought that her system of sound healing might be a good combo with Joe's meditation.
      Edit: I forgot to mention that the vedic system's chakra location does have a correlation with Joe's centers, but not in their numbered order. There is a chakra at the base of the head, which is correlated with the location of the pineal gland, and the third eye chakra's location is correlated with the pituitary gland. I also learned from a past teacher who said that there is a smaller chakra beneath the 6th chakra which is between the eyes, which seems to be correlated with the pituitary gland,

    my body struggles with sensing the energy centres but i did BOTEC 1 the other day and in my first 2 energy centres i felt like i was being pulled down like a magnetic was stuck and pulling me down! any other advice with feeling and sending them? or should i do it everyday and just keep trying?

      Experiment and see what works well for you. I don’t imagine them being pushed, I just imagine them there like a ball of light or something. If you want to imagine them being pushed that’s fine. Doing this meditation is really all about using your imagination anyways. Think of when you daydream about stuff and it can spur feelings inside. You’re just imagining the centers and imagining energy coming to them. You felt that energy like a magnet because you were doing a good job imagining and feeling them. Everyone will be a little different in their technique. Just keep it up, you’re moving in the right direction!

    Do you know if dr. Joe has longer “blessing of the energy centers” meditation. I feel like the time I spend on each energy center is too short . Just begin to feel and need to move to the next one. Guided meditation is more beneficial to me. I’m more focused.

      The longest one I think he has is about 1 hour and 30 minutes. He has a total of 10, but you can only access all of them if you’ve attended a week long retreat, so I’m not sure what your status is on that. I agree about wanting to spend more time on each.       Auto immune is very complicated. I had auto immune. I think in the case of auto immune, you have son much stuck energy and emotions in your body, your whole body is screaming at you. I would really focus on the entire body. If you find you certain areas of your body are more sensitive, then maybe focus your energy on that area. As for the narc, I’ve been there. Not sure if you are still in the situation, but all I can say is don’t listen to them. They are struggling with their own problems and just want someone else to feel their pain. That could possibly be why you have auto immune. You are trying to deal with the pain and emotions you are taking in from that person. Don’t start blaming that person though. You have to start accepting that you are the one holding onto those emotions and reactions. You have a right to react, because how they are treating you is wrong. It’s just a matter of learning to react, and then just let it go instead of burying it and taking isn’t personal. Another thing you can tell yourself to help get you through it is, “I must over come my environment.” Your environment and life could be tough and suck, but when you overcome your environment, you have overcome yourself and become stronger. Again this comes from experience. You are not alone in this. You are a strong, amazing person and you got this! ❤️

      You do not need to feel the energy center in order for it to be effective. You only need to put your attention on it. Putting your attention on a specific part of your body awakens it. Think about when you have a pain in your body, it seems to get worse when you focus on it. When you get distracted, you don’t think about it so much. Dr Joe say, “where you place you attention, is where you place your energy.” This can apply to any spect of you life. People go months and years doing these meditations without feeling anything but can still be successful at healing themselves.

    Ive been doing Dr Joe's BOTEC meditations for 2-3 months now and still each and every time I do them, I get severly depressed and unmotivated that same day. It goes away by next morning luckily but it comes back as soon as I do the meditation again. Why does it happen? (not to mention I am not even a depressed person but BOTEC fully brings out this side of me, which is pretty scary).

      Try to understand why. I tried doing BOTEC for 30 days straight and had to stop at about day 7 because I felt a “depressed” feeling. I can’t explain what it is though. Maybe something coming to the surface? I focused on heart meditations after those 7 days and it helped get rid of that feeling. I think sometimes when we work too hard in our meditations, too much can come up at once and it can be uncomfortable and overwhelming. I’ve had this happen a few times, I basically just slowed down and did shorter meditations or meditations that didn’t go so deep.

    How long did it take for you to start feeling that Kundalini energy moving either with the breathwork and/or with the BOTEC meditations?

      I first felt the kundalini energy at my first weeklong advanced retreat. I’m not sure exactly when it hit me, but I know by the end of the week, my body was shaking during nearly every meditation, and especially during my healing. I think Al the energy at the event, mixed with my intense motivation to heal and get the breath, just made it come. It will come when your body is ready for it. I’ve heard from most people that they get the energy after a super intense meditation, a spiritual awakening, or attending a Dr Joe event.

      I usually imagine them in the center of the body. I think technically they are closer to the spine. Front, back, middle, it doesn’t matter. Just as long as you put your energy on them, they will get the energy!

      You choose what works best for you. Some people do it once a day. Some are better in the morning, some at night. My husband does it in the afternoon. He has too much on his mind in the morning and too sleepy at night. Everyone is different.

      This meditation helps balance your body. If you have an intention going into it, you could probably manifest something. You can work on manifesting even with your eyes open. You just need a strong desire for whatever you want.

    How do you know when you release an energy center?

      You may or may not know. It’s more of a release in energy. You might feel better or actually feel something happen, for example if you’re working on you’re fifth center and you cough. Usually it happens slowly over time like working out at the gym, but sometimes there are bigger releases. But just know that even if you get them balanced, life comes at you and can knock them out of whack a bit. It’s just like a guitar. After playing it a bit, it needs to be tuned.

      It’s a lot like daydreaming. You try to visualize it, but sometimes you really don’t “see” it. It’s more about imagination. Sometimes if I get real deep in my meditations, I can see things like you do while in a dream and they are very vivid and real.

      If you have anxiety, you might not want to do kundalini and pineal gland meditations, because they can wake up your brain too fast. I would work on blessings of the energy centers and maybe do some of the heart meditations.

    Hi there, Thank you so much for these videos. I always come back to them to revise the information since I started doing this meditation. I wanted to ask how do you feel/imagine the 8th energy center? I understand it is supposed to be around 16 inches above the head but I have trouble imagining that and moving my energy. I feel like my 7th energy center is still vibrating/active as I try to ascend my attention to the 8th. Not so sure if I am doing it correctly or if we are supposed to be releasing energy into the field or keep it at 7th. Can you please guide me?

      If you can’t feel your 8th center, that’s ok. It’s somewhere above you head. As long as you are putting you attention on it, it’s getting energy. I don’t know much about the 8th center, but I do know I’ve had experiences where something from outside of me entered in me. Call it divine energy I guess? Do your own research on the 8th center/chakra. I’m sure there are many opinions on it. ❤️

      You should probably work on all your centers. You never know where the energy might be stuck. For example if you have low libido, you would think you should work on the 2nd center, but the liver gets rid of excess hormones in your 3rd center, your brain produces hormones in your 6th center. The point is, the root of the problem could be anywhere in your body. If you feel like focusing on centers that may seem the problem centers, go for it. I personally would not strictly limit myself to those two centers. I know I struggle with a specific center and focus sometimes specifically on that one, but I will still do all of them other times.

      If you purchased the BOTEC 2 online, he has a introduction you can play that explains it better. Basically, think up a symbol that represents each energy center for you. Things that can help strengthen them. For example you can do fire, hearts, ocean waves, harps, etc. Before you do the meditation, go through each center and think of a symbol for each. It helps to know a little bit about what emotions/energy each center holds. Then during the meditation, think of the specific symbol of that center when he had you focus on it.

      No, some of the blessings of the energy centers do not have the breath before them. I just find it easier to get into my meditation when I do the breath, so I’ll do a few breaths before I do one of his meditations that doesn’t include the breath in it.

      The pineal gland breath is the best on to do before the meditation. He uses the quick breathe in breathe out one on Blessings of the Energy Centers 7. You can throw it in at the end of a meditation and it feels awesome as you just lay there. Breathe in and out 10-20 times and then hold it for like 10 seconds. It feels great!

      You aren’t really looking in the field for the emotion, you are just feeling the emotion. And because you feel the elevated emotion, it connects you more with the field. Think of it like the emotion you are feeling inside is a magnet to attract you whatever you want in the field.

      Not blessing my energy centers, but once doing breath work. I have gotten really deep in meditation that when I came to, I didn’t realize time had passed. So maybe I “passed out?”

    Hi ❤️ I had a specific question….. I noticed right now when I did the blessing of the energy centers I was very focused and almost the entire time my body was physically moving with the music rhythm …. Kinda like it’s in coherence ? Does that make sense? Is that something to notice idk what to think of it . But it’s like I focused on the energy center and at first my body was minimally shaking and a second after it was going together with the music beat .I found that really amazing and for a second I thought “am I doing this on my own or is this my energy “ lol

      That is most likely the kundalini energy awakening it you. It is energy we all have cookies down at the base of our spines. Spiritual activities like meditation, yoga, and breathwork can awaken it. I feel it the most doing the breathwork and Blessings of the energy centers. The energy is trying to work its way up to the top of your head. The shaking can be when it gets a little stuck. If it moves smoothly, that’s a great thing and your body is in tune with energy. The energy of the music makes your body want to “dance” along with it. I get that a lot, especially on specific songs. The energy can seem snake like at times. Look up a picture of a Caduceus. When you look closely at it, it represents the serpent energy along with your other energy centers.

    Thank you for this, can you tell me, when I do this meditation it feels like pressure pushing on me like a weight is sitting on my body. Any ideas please.

      Anything you feel in your body, just pay attention to it and make note of it. It is not anything bad, it's just energy. I feel hot, cold, tingling, pressure in different parts of my body. Just make note if it always happens and the location of the pressure. sometimes I get sensations in a different part of my body than what I'm focusing on. It could be energy coming loose based on what on meditating on. I try not to over think it when I get different sensations, I just embrace them as the universe doing its work on me.

    Didn't Dr. Joe say, the sixth energy Center is in the back of the Head, nott so high as you show? And the seventh in the middle of the Head? I am confused...

      The 6th center comes in through the 3rd eye toward the back of the head. The 7th center is where a baby’s soft spot is. Other outlets call it the crown chakra because it is the top of the head. Both the 6th and 7th center are connected to the pineal gland. When I’m meditating, I can feel the 6th either in between my eyes and inside my head. I guess it depends on the meditation. I always feel the 7th center in the top of my head. It usually feels hot or like it’s vibrating very fast.

      @@saltyseven Thank you I saw that but there are no advanced retreats that are close by I definitely can’t afford to go to Australia and the one in South America is sold out so do you think they will possibly refund the money back if you buy the meditation before you even get a chance at a retreat. Plus one other question that I forgot to mention on my previous comment is can suggest a Night meditation. Plus doing the blessing of the energy centers is done in the morning or it doesn’t matter.? I am just trying to figure out. Sorry one mor question I hope you don’t mind which book should I read first since you have more experience with this. I really appreciate any help you can give me.       They won’t refund the money on the progressive intensive if you purchase it before. They just include it as a bonus for when you purchase the advanced retreat. I’ve seen the upcoming schedule for 2023. They will have one in American in April, Cancun in June and Austria in August. I hear 1-2 more will be added. He’s doing several Progressive workshops this year.
      He doesn’t have any night meditations, but I thought I saw a better sleep one? I do own one where he does a morning/evening meditation. I sometimes do the evening one before bed. There are tons of sleep ones online or in apps if you’re looking for any. I have an app called BetterSleep that has some simple meditations that help me relax before bed.
      You can do the Blessings of the Energy Centers anytime you want. It makes no difference. Just do it when it feels right. At the event, he does them at all different times of day.
      Lastly, as fir which book to read first? I would probably read Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself first. Then You are the Placebo, Then becoming Super Natural. I never read his first book, Evolve Your Brain. I started reading the books after I attended an event, so I figured the first book might be too basic? I probably will eventually go back and read it though.

    Im having trouble moving this energy to my head.
    I keep trying to do blessing of the energy center because It difficult to feel these centers.
    I mean like I can kinda feel something, how much am I suppose to feel in order for the breath to work?
    Im not sure if my energy centers still need more work in order to do the breath effectively. Because nothing happens when I try the breath.
    I usually start with the induction meditation (space arround me, the room im in and space). I can feel energy doing this. I then start the blessing of the energy centers. Ill keep trying the breath afterwards but nothing happens.
    I've been trying this for months now...?
    Or is it because I'm supposed to do the breath at night?
    Can my life style prevents the breath meditation from working

      There is no one answer. I do blessings if the energy centers several times a week just to keep balancing myself. Rarely are all energy cemetery’s ever going to be perfectly aligned and in tune. Even if you get close, they can easily get out of tune like a guitar. So you need to keep tuning them. As for the breath, many people feel a block. I had it in my neck. I can’t say what made it “free up”. Just one time I did the breath and finally hit it. I didn’t hit it every time after that, but with practice, I kept hitting it more often. My husband has been doing the breath for a year and a half and still hasn’t hit it. Some people get sensations i their body, others don’t. But from what I can tell, everyone knows when they hit the spot with the breath. It’s like an organs almost. It will be different for everyone. Just keep doing the work and be patient. You don’t need to do the breath to heal. I healed myself before even learning to do the breath.

      At any time. The beginning is probably best, but sometimes you are t deep enough into it to get heart coherence at the beginning. There’s really no rules to it.

    I have a random question. When doing the induction meditation, start with "space arround your body". And shift to space around the room or surroundings. Do I need to shift to actual space after? Focusing on just the room eventually my head feels pressure. And eventually I try to do the blessing of the energy centers.? Is this correct?

      Basically he’s geting your mind off of all the chatter in your brain and focus on your body. Then you expend your awareness to the space around it, then expand it again the to space in the room. Sometimes he moves onto to just plane space. You can imagine it like outer space, or just a place of nothing. It can be black or full of light. There are no rules. It’s just a practice to make you become aware of nothing. Once there is nothing, then you can access the universe and become everything. It may sound complicated, but once you do it enough, you’ll feel it and understand it.

      That’s the kundalini energy spiraled up at the base of your spine. It unwinds when energy gets activated in your body. It’s coils back down when done.

    Everytime i put my attention on different spots on my body they start to get tense instead of getting better. What am i doing wrong? Do i try to Focus too Hard?

      Don’t expect them to immediately get better. You are probably feeling them get tense because you are feeling that energy built up in those centers. Next time, try to imagine the center opening up like an iris in a camera or a flower blooming. Maybe some of that energy can loosen up. It takes a lot of practice to start noticing a difference. I noticed my “blocked” centers felt tight compared to others. You can seek out other meditations that focus specifically on those “stuck” centers or chakras.

      Yes, all of them are good. You should have access to 4 and 5 which both have the breath in them. They are pretty similar to the higher ones.

    I feel like I can't feel any positive emotion. I try so hard to think of things I appreciate or have love for. I can't feel any positive whatsoever.... I'm at rough point in my life where I'm depressed and feel hopeless. Where can I start? Will meditation enable me to feel positive emotions or calm me down, and can it at least get into a neutral mood?

      I totally feel you. That’s why for awhile I mostly just did the blessings of the energy centers because he doesn’t ask you to feel emotions. I still struggle sometimes with the heart meditations. Changing boxes is a good one. Imagine a specific problem or situation gone, then you imagine what it would be like without the problem. I struggled the least with that one. There is hope!!! Based on data from the events, the top health problem people are trying to fix is depression. I think it was like 33%.
