Have been practicing my new personality for 45 days and felt great. Then I had a backlash for 7 days. Hating the world etc. I decided to get my self back into alignment, with new insight, and then I stumbled onto this video that clearly motivates me to keep going. That I’m on the right path. Perfect

The meditations at night are on and off. But some times i find the sweet spot. The point is to try to find the feeling of the wish fulfilled and be familiar with it so you can activate it during the day. But what works the most for me is something i learnt on my own which is this - I go for a walk in an open field or a soccer field baseball field park whatever. And as i walk laps, i use my imagination to feel all sorts of things and create different moods and i even talk positive things. This works so well for me cause i'm actively walking and feeling like a different person or feeling like i have/am what i want. The point is to always try to be a different person to when you began, and try to carry it with you. Don't get me wrong i'm still getting up and downs. I have felt incredibly sad some days but behind that sadness theres peace and appreciation. I feel like i'm worth much more than what my life is giving me, but i will keep practicing the better feelings and state of being cause i feel like i'm getting closer to my future self.

Which meditations in particular are you using archangul?

    • @YouAREyoubeYou
      @YouAREyoubeYou 6 років тому +8

archangul have you understood that sadness because this is what I’m going through? I’ll have this burst of/ overwhelming feeling of deep appreciation then I’ll go through this sadness but not like depression or “the blues”. It’s like sadness for no reason. I’m trying to determine if it’s sadness in my body or my brain. I’m starting to believe it is an emotional addiction that I’ve been unaware of.

I’m reading The Red Lion right now. Without spoilers, It’s a book dissecting various challenges and detours one has to overcome on the journey of pursuing personal truth. I’ve found myself sweating cold sweat during reading - it’s so relatable, to an extent, that as if I was placed to be examined under a microscope: knowing the old me wasn’t always pleasant. But this process is absolutely necessary. In short, this is a book that is for a ready-heart to seek personal truth under the cover of mystical novel. Thank you, Dr. Joe.🙏❤️

Intrusive thoughts will come. The important thing is to just not let them bother you and not get upset that they are happening. Just gently push them aside and enter back into the meditation. I find this will happen a few times, but if I don't get upset at them and just gently reingage then everything is fine. There was once when I had such bad anxiety I just could not do a meditation. I found another type of somatic method that grounded me by looking, hearing and sensing things in a room (from Sukie Baxter) and that calmed me better at that time. I went back to blessing of the energy centers when I could.

Dude is awesome. The way he explains this stuff, it's so grounded and so compelling at the same time - he actually genuinely makes you excited about reaching for the possibilities rather than staying trapped. There have been other great teachers, eg Louise Hay, but there's something so practical about the way he communicates these techniques that really makes it stick.

I listen to this deeply moving discussion over and over when my brain wants to bring Goliath back to center stage. What led me to Dr. Joe’s work was wanting to break the cycle of being in an emotionally abusive relationship that I couldn’t extricate myself from through any other means. I hated how powerless I felt in that situation but it was like an addiction. An addiction I hated but couldn’t stop. The days when those old programs and the accompanying anger around them seem to overwhelm me I listen to this, I don’t care if it’s dozens of times, until I once again am in “hot pursuit” of my own freedom and walking in my power rather than as a helpless victim.

I’ve been practicing Law of Attraction since 2009 (going on 11 years). I want to tell you all that it ABSOLUTELY works. I have a list of over 300 things, big and small, that I’ve manifested from $50k to healing cavities and growing an inch past 30. It is SO important to hone our focus. As a powerful conscious creator, fear and negative emotion are indicative of only one thing - you are focused on something that you do not wish to happen. When we are in a state of fear or negative emotion (every type of negative emotion stems from some form of fear), it means that we are imagining events and situations happening (or not happening) and seeing it so vividly that we are able to feel the negative emotions that are produced by those imagined events as if they have already happened.
If you are familiar with the Laws of the Universe (Law of Attraction), you will realize that this is EXACTLY how things are manifested. You focus on what you want (or in this case what you don’t want) and feel the corresponding emotion and BOOM, sooner or later a manifestation in the physical world happens. When we are able to let go of our fears, we begin programming our minds to think and imagine only the things that we wish to create.
Here are 5 steps to help you release your fears so that you can focus back on what you like to attract:
    1. Be aware - know how you are feeling at all times so you know when you are thinking negative thoughts
    2. Ask yourself whether or not your negative thought is helpful - 100% of fear thoughts are not helpful at all. Fear of crossing the street and getting hit by a car is not going to help you at all. What will help is being careful when you cross the street and that takes focus in the moment which is NOT possible when you are focused on your fear and you may become a “deer in headlights”.
    3. Make an Intention to let the thought go - After identifying that the fear or negative emotion does not serve you, it is much easier to let it go. You would not continue to eat something that makes you sick or carry around a bag of useless bricks once you’ve identified that they are useless. - making an intention to let the thought go will allow you to let the thought go much easier. You are basically giving yourself the permission to let it go.
    4. Clear yourself - The next step is to clear yourself. Take a few minutes to breathe, focus on silence or the sounds around you without judgement, focus on feeling parts of your body without judgement, look at something intensely without judgement. This will shift your focus and allow you to move away from your negative though. Do this until you feel a sense of relief or peace.
    5. Think of what you DO want - after you clear your mental and emotional space, it is then much easier to fill that space with thoughts of what you do want. You can now insert thoughts that make you feel good. If you have fears that you will not get the job you want, this is the time for you to imagine GETTING the job of your dreams and feeling what that would feel like. You can also go back to past memories of things that made you feel Love, Joy, Fulfillment Etc
Much Love and Blessings to you all on this magical Journey!

Dr. Joe completely changed my life for the better. He reminded me of the power of manifestation I had when I was a kid. The difference between an adult and a kid is the analytical mind. As a kid, our imagination is unlimited and we believe in the impossible ( faith). As an adult, we analyze everything and apply limitations based on reason and experiences. So I just started thinking like a kid again and put my energy into believing and amazing things have come into fruitation because of it. Thank you

The universe definitely sent me towards your videos and talks. I know all this stuff, practiced it and have had temporary success a few times, but often fall back into the patterns and habits of reacting to thoughts. Sometimes it just takes the right explanation to get you back on the horse and feeling strong enough to implement the new process of not reacting and identifying with thoughts. Thank you very much, I'm really grateful.

Well said. You are exactly correct, for me, about sometimes just the right explanation is needed. And in that same vein, there have been concepts that I never fully grasped for YEARS. There was always some confusion in my mind. Then I hear it said in a slightly different way, maybe by a different person, and BAM! Like an optical illusion, I now SEE it. And then I really understand.

Great video. I find what works for me is dissociation (something psychologists enjoy getting rid of), or saying to myself, "If you want to go down this path of being sucked back into listening to self talk, go ahead". For some reason it works better for me than trying to force myself to stop doing it. May just be me, but it works far better than fighting it.

I started feeling sorry for myself while I was frustrated at the same time. Got the groceries but was STILL holding on to the emotion even though the situation alreadyworked out. I sat in a quiet room to meditate and kept repeating "I'm sorry, its okay, affirming to myself ..then just listened. All on my mind was the feeling of pure forgiveness for myself. Thanks Joe,I know exactly what you mean, to myself it's just amazing.wherever I meet someone my mind just keeps on sending and receiving millions of signals.and it's in the way we interact with each other, that's so fascinating for me. Evolution via learning an amazing journey .

Interesting. Let's not forget, however, that our body isn't the "enemy." Sometimes, we simply want to move to a new level or expression of self in a more relaxed, gradual way. I absolutely love Dr. Joe, but I'm not going to freak out if my body doesn't' cooperate sometimes. I will overcome it at some point.

This is exactly how I’ve felt! I’ve been struggling with religious OCD and anxiety for the past few months. I don’t mean to have the most blasphemous thoughts ever. Now I slowly realized, those thoughts aren’t me. They just a hurdle I either have to go around, plow thru or ignore.
