Nice share here. Love the 1966 Mickey Stanley Autograph. Looks super nice and awesome that you met him. Great share as always. Enjoyed and hope you enjoy super bowl weekend.
Nice Mickey Stanley autograph. He signed it on a good spot. Pretty cool that he spent his whole career with the Tigers. I like the strip card and the postcard. Good pickups, Eric
Great pickups! It is really something to me that a strip card with great color of a HOFer can be had for thirty bucks. You can't go wrong with purchases like that! Loved seeing the oversized pickup as well, I really like larger items like that. Thanks for sharing!
Really enjoyed your cards and commentary. Nice '66 Stanley and great HOFer strip card. The George Mullen postcard is a keeper! Thanks for showing us some fantastic pickups.
Love that Mickey Stanley autograph, you picked a great card to have signed. I think that Bancroft was my favorite card of these three though, the colors on that just pop so nicely. Great stuff all around, Eric!
That postcard is in excellent shape for it's age. Off and on, I have been looking for an affordable & nice copy of one of those for a while. You did very well finding that cool postcard. // I usually don't collect many strip cards, but I would have bought that Bancroft in a second. It looks very nice. I think you should grade it. It will look even better slabbed, even if it gets an "A" grade. // Nice Mickey Stanley auto. He was a hero of the 1968 World Series. He was an outfielder, but he moved to shortstop just for the World Series, and he played very well at SS. Moving Stanley to SS allowed the Tigers to keep both him and Kaline in the line up. Stanley hits a triple in Game 5 to key a Tiger rally. His triple changes the tempo of Game 5 and the tempo of the World Series. Remember at that time the Tigers are down 3 games to 1, and they are losing in Game 5 before Stanley's triple. // By the way, sorry about the Lions loss to the 49ers.
Thank you! He still Likes to joke around. The guy in front of me said he named his dog Stanley after him and Mickey was super nice, taking pictures with the guy and joking around about the dog.
Strip cards were generally given with purchases or sold by retailers. They mostly came in a long strip where merchants could cut or rip off a certain amount and give to customers

Great vintage pickups
Thank you!
Great pickups there!! We have some great baseball history in Detroit... Cobb, Crawford, Kell, Kaline, Horton, Trammell, Cabrera !!!
Yes, we have the best history here!
I did a deep dive on George Mullin when I picked up his T205, and he's such an under-appreciated player. Great get!
Yes! Absolutely agree! Thank You.
Nice pickups! The Mickey Stanley auto looks great! Love the George Mullin postcard!
Thanks Jim!

Thanks!
Very nice Detroit! I’d really like to get a McLain signed card. I’ve heard maybe he still autographs in the Detroit area too?
Yes, he was here in the fall I believe.
@@thedetroitcollector do you know when he might return?
@@The_Cincinnati_Kid not as of now, but I’ll let you know when I see something.

Thanks Shane! Yeah some people don’t like strip cards, but I really liked the color and picture of this one. Thanks for watching.
Nice pick ups from the card show. Was that a show in Detriot or another location around Detriot? Thanks
Thank you. It was a card show 10min from Detroit

Thank you! Love the story on Stanley. I heard it was a tough series with Gibson and the St. Louis. Lions loss still stings.
Awesome vintage cards for the PC!
Thank you!
Great Stanley auto. I met him in 07-08 time frame. Super nice and joking with me. I got his auto on a baseball when I met him.
Thank you! He still Likes to joke around. The guy in front of me said he named his dog Stanley after him and Mickey was super nice, taking pictures with the guy and joking around about the dog.
Nice pickups. Thinking graded could be the way to go with the card. Thanks for sharing.
