Ha! My wife is the same way! She knows that I collect cards and baseball is my go to for collecting, but other than that she has no idea. Fantastic cards and always enjoy seeing the pre-war that you bring into the collection. The Gehringer is my favorite here. He does have a look to him. I never really thought about that. Always enjoy and thanks for sharing with us! You need to put out a little more content! I usually swing by your channel to make sure i do not miss anything. Hope you have a great 2025!

Congrats! Just had this discussion the other day with two great collectors. When you collect rare, the grade (any grade) is not relevant. Great example and some huge players on there!

I agree with your assessment, But even now they are doing it to them. I collect stamps as well and i know they do alternth. I wish i had better news. But it all doesnt matter'if you love the piece ( which i know you do)!

Awesome Postcard Eric! Removing the stamp makes sense. The writing usually knocks postcards down to a "1". It's a keeper for sure. Ticket stub is so cool.

That is a beautiful postcard. I’ve never shied away from authentic altered especially for prewar. It’s a great way to get amazingly low pop items for reasonable prices. To me no stamp adds to the unique story of this piece

I am also a postcard collector, and I really like the postcard. It is a beauty. I love the graphic of the Tigers on the sides. I learned a while ago that postcard world is different than the sports card world. You have to accept the postcard as you find it. The ticket is pretty cool too. Happy Thanksgiving. 🦃

Stamp or no stamp, it's a stunning and unique piece of Detroit Tigers history. Love "This is the team that beat the Cubs." And the Game 6 ticket is equally amazing. 1935 sure was a special year in Detroit. For the Tigers, Red Wings and Lions! Great pickups Eric.

I almost fainted after watching this. Every single item you showed (except for the incredible Police Gazette piece) I had added to my Tiger collection about two months before this video came out. I love how you collect, what you collect, and most of all, why you collect. I've been meaning to write to you for some time. We should definitely get in touch. Love to chat everything Tigers with ya some time, we have a lot in common. (It'll potentially save us both some ducats when bidding on the same Tiger items, LOL!) I used to visit my grandparents (who lived in St. Claire Shores at the time) in the late 70s/early 80s. My grandmother would listen to EVERY Tiger game on her small portable black transistor radio. Her passion transferred to me. And I've never looked back. Can't wait to see your M120 completion video! I love, love, love those for the same reasons you do. Good luck! Wonderful additions to the collection. Love both cards. That Jennings image never gets old. Unfortunately our Tigers didn’t move on to the ALCS but really enjoyed the playoffs while they lasted. I don’t know where 2024 has gone. Hope all is well.
