This is not on a German Autobahn. German Autobahn has Blue Roadsigns. This Highway has Green Highway signs. This could be in Slovenia, Kroatia, Italy, etc. Judging by the buildings, the empty Highway and the way the Highway and the sign looks, I would go with Slovenia.

If the driver would get caught doing the same thing after getting their license back they'd also be over the threshhold (we have a traffic violation point system) and have their license revoked.

In America the posted speed limit in many states is 120 km/h ( 75 Mi/h ) and most owner/operator trucks are geared to cruise at 75 Mi/h @ 1400 RPM. West Texas, I 25 in Wyoming and few other places have posted speed limits at 80 Mi/h ( about 130 km/h ) So far we don’t have mandatory speed limiters. The mandatory electronic onboard recorders of duty status came into effect just a couple of years ago where before we had to keep daily paper logs.
In central Europe all trucks have mandatory governor which shall be set at 85 km/h with tolerance up 89 km/h. If they don't habe it, they might get stopped at the border and not allowed into the country. Speed limit for trucks is 80 km/h

We would pass trucks on the hills like they were standing still towing a semi. We once had a driver broke down on a hill, a heavy hauler, and he asked if we had to back down. My uncle's license was revoked or suspended because of tampering with the speed limiter and being caught driving at excessive speeds. Needless to say some strings had to be pulled in order for him to be allowed on the road again.

I had a freighshaker up to 106mph once. The company I was with had them governed at 73mph, but had no limiter when going downhill like most do. One time when I was going over the twin sisters on 80 in WY, I decided to turn the jake off and let her eat to see what it'd do. Started feathering the brake at 106, started getting scared I'd have a blow out. Was shocked the company said nothing to me. Never did that again. Was lucky I didn't have something go wrong. Surprisingly though, it was handling smoothly.

All trucks in the EU have by law 90km/h engine speed limiters (though the actual road speed limit can be slightly higher, eg in the UK) so these guys have clearly been fucking with their limiters and probably the tachos too and if caught could lose their licenses or even go to prison.
In italy they are limitated at 99 km/h for safety reason, and it’s really safer. If a car or worse a bike is going 110 km/h and a truck pass it at 150 km/h the Wind created by the truck would be so strong that can the car/bike skid and make an accident. It has to be a low in every country

Company is from Bosnia, and based on that stickers in the truck from which is filmed, they are bosniaks too. (U can see little map of bosnia on sticker marks on the windshield :D )
Going 90 km/h downhill with a truck makes my palms sweaty (knees weak, arms heavy), but going 150kph in a truck would actually scare me. And I don't think the brakes are built for those speeds.
I recall trucks in the UK back in the late 70s and early 80s would struggle uphill on motorways but would approach such speeds downhill and on the level.

Do your homework ask the old truckies of the 70s and 80s especially the private operators. Many were diesel mechanics or had mates that were , and they new what made them go. Back then these open plains was were they made time and money. No Gps ,no speed limits , no log books. I know of a trucking tycoon who stuck the fastest drag motor in his truck to out run the mob. He appreciates this philosophy and all his kenworth s are the highest hp possible., and now a very large fleet.He was one of the fast ones and started back when they were on petrol. I remember my dad bought a 2007 Scania R580 model holy sh*t , I was 10 years old and we took the Truck from Iraq to syria then Turkey then Iran then back to Iraq in matter of 2 months cuz cuz my dad had international truck licence that allowed him to move between borders until US came and ruined everything with war so we forced to sell the truck and move to Australia due to war. I still remember the joy of seating in front with my dad and enjoying those views.

I used to drive an FH460 Volvo someone has possibly tampered with that as it did a proper 65+MPH although the speedometer & digi tacho said 56MPH it was over that which I only noticed when looking at my sat nav on the M60 near Oldham nothing was said to me about it being able to do a naughty speed when starting on it I set the cruise control the maximum 56MPH & looked later on seeing the no's the wrong way round it was slowed down to the correct speed knowing the tyres were not new & thinking of my clean licence

Max weight for that blue Scania is 40 000kg (40 tons) and it's illegal to weigh more with that axle configuration. What I'm mostly concerned about is that those trucks should be limited to 90km/h and the fact that the speed limit on that specific road for those vehicles is 80km/h since they have trailers.

DAF CF low daily cab tractor went 193kph without speed limiter :) Tested it by myself :) 193 was the engine revs cutout at highest gear. Speedometer was useless so we did check the speed from EBS sensor :) Tachometer is also useless cause it get stupid readings over 150 kph without limiter... I think the impulse counter is to slow for those speeds :)

There should be no speed limits for trucks on highways. Not many will drive fast anyway cause fuel economy. And it will make overtaking trucks much less annoying

Agreed: The legal speed limit for trucks in Australia is 110km/h :-) And this with a double, and in Northern Territory probably with a triple as well. In fact, in the old days, Northern Territory used to have no speed limit. From my understanding this was even true for trucks... There is an agreement for some other benefits if your truck is limited to 100, which many companies do take. So they probably did the math on fuel economy, arrival time and time savings as well already :-)

All trucks in the EU have by law 90km/h engine speed limiters (though the actual road speed limit can be slightly higher, eg in the UK) so these guys have clearly been fucking with their limiters and probably the tachos too and if caught could lose their licenses or even go to prison.

In italy they are limitated at 99 km/h for safety reason, and it’s really safer. If a car or worse a bike is going 110 km/h and a truck pass it at 150 km/h the Wind created by the truck would be so strong that can the car/bike skid and make an accident. It has to be a low in every country

Basically it says on the back of the trailer, SUBOTIĆ TRANSPORT "BRZI". Brzi means fast on croatian, bosnian and serbian. Company is from Bosnia, and based on that stickers in the truck from which is filmed, they are bosniaks too. (U can see little map of bosnia on sticker marks on the windshield :D )

Going 90 km/h downhill with a truck makes my palms sweaty (knees weak, arms heavy), but going 150kph in a truck would actually scare me. And I don't think the brakes are built for those speeds.

I recall trucks in the UK back in the late 70s and early 80s would struggle uphill on motorways but would approach such speeds downhill and on the level.
In Australia we have some legends and long distances so 100 mile an hour and in a car and being overtaken by one of the old "Greyghosts" and the sound is spectacular especially on the Hay plain. You talk about it long after the trip

Do your homework ask the old truckies of the 70s and 80s especially the private operators. Many were diesel mechanics or had mates that were , and they new what made them go. Back then these open plains was were they made time and money. No Gps ,no speed limits , no log books.
I know of a trucking tycoon who stuck the fastest drag motor in his truck to out run the mob. He appreciates this philosophy and all his kenworth s are the highest hp possible., and now a very large fleet.He was one of the fast ones and started back when they were on petrol. Again do your home work

I remember my dad bought a 2007 Scania R580 model holy sh*t , I was 10 years old and we took the Truck from Iraq to syria then Turkey then Iran then back to Iraq in matter of 2 months cuz cuz my dad had international truck licence that allowed him to move between borders until US came and ruined everything with war so we forced to sell the truck and move to Australia due to war. I still remember the joy of seating in front with my dad and enjoying those views.

Back in the 70's,100mph was no that uncommon on the Hume Hwy between Melb and Sydney or Brisbane,running the big cam 350 cummins overnight.Sadly neither was the amount of lost lives,very dangerous roads single lane ,head on roll overs.
I used to drive an FH460 Volvo someone has possibly tampered with that as it did a proper 65+MPH although the speedometer & digi tacho said 56MPH it was over that which I only noticed when looking at my sat nav on the M60 near Oldham nothing was said to me about it being able to do a naughty speed when starting on it I set the cruise control the maximum 56MPH & looked later on seeing the no's the wrong way round it was slowed down to the correct speed knowing the tyres were not new & thinking of my clean licence

Max weight for that blue Scania is 40 000kg (40 tons) and it's illegal to weigh more with that axle configuration. What I'm mostly concerned about is that those trucks should be limited to 90km/h and the fact that the speed limit on that specific road for those vehicles is 80km/h since they have trailers.

Speedometer was useless so we did check the speed from EBS sensor :) Tachometer is also useless cause it get stupid readings over 150 kph without limiter... I think the impulse counter is to slow for those speeds :)

There is an agreement for some other benefits if your truck is limited to 100, which many companies do take. So they probably did the math on fuel economy, arrival time and time savings as well already :-)

On the Autobahn, trucks are only allowed to go 50mph (or 80kph) so this is highly illegal (and highly dangerous, too, as the braking distance about triples when going 150 instead of 80kph.)
If you get caught this fast you'll lose your license for at least 3 months.
PS: You also must not overtake on a right lane on the Autobahn and must let other trucks pass when they try overtaking you.
All in all you're looking at 3 months without license and about €1000 in fines in this video.
If the driver would get caught doing the same thing after getting their license back they'd also be over the threshhold (we have a traffic violation point system) and have their license revoked.
