The issue is that people misunderstand the nsx. Its supposed too be futuristic and similar too a fighter jet
Everyone loved the handling of the old NSX. Acura makes the new NSX have the best handling of any car ever. Everyone complains about something else.
Parker, 130r refers to a famous corner at the suzuka racetrack, it's not random numbers and letters.

The NSX is the better looking car then the R8 when you see them side by side, almost twice as good looking then the R8. However, i do like both of them and i would be happy with either one of them.

I have a problem with so many supercars. I hate rear diffusers.
Frontwise Mclarens may resemble the NSX but Mclarens all have weird hollows and crevices where cats and birds and little kids will nest and take a piss. NSX is clean.
The r8 interior is better. While the NSX exterior is better!

Parker kinda teared this car apart, I feel as if he favors Mercedes and BMWs more than anything else, and was focused way too much on the "Acura" name. The interior?? Really? Cmon it looks like a space ship, just because it doesn't have ambient lighting and massage seats like your S550 doesn't mean it's crap LOL

And the amg gts is less expensive too.

Honda/Acura just can't compete with German luxury. The only thing they have going for them is reliability and that they make great cars for teenage douchebags to rice out.
Megastupid assumption. Clearly the fact that he has driven a Merc & BMW gives him an advantage when reviewing the NSX. The GTS is miles ahead of the NSX comfort wise.

I love this NSX and Im glad they made it. This gives Honda something to build on and make an even better car. And I think its a greta car for being a comeback car after many years. Its like the 2007 GTR. Great car but just needs improvement when the next one comes out. And look and the GTR now. I can't wait for the next NSX.
First off the 130R is a famous corner in suzuka race circuit. Second of all the interior may not be refined as a german car but it is still very nice. Thirdly an Audi R8 weighs over 3500-3600 lbs not 3000 lbs. Plus this is the only hybrid supercar that does not cost over a million dollars. The McLaren and audi r8 may be simpler supercars, but if you buy this car, you are paying for the technology and the future of supercars.

Yep the drivetrain technology is really gonna contribute to the brand's upcoming cars as well. I really wish Acura could make a 2 door between the NSX and Accord... But I guess its very unlikely due to the market...
Overall, I love the new NSX. I love the way it looks, the way it handles, the way it drives, the whole shebang. There's a lot of issues with it, and one that I couldn't hate more id that it's absolutely nothing like the original NSX. Which makes me want to hang myself, since the original NSX is one of my favorite cars of all time, and the new NSX had to live up to it. But I love the NSX, it's different and unique to itself. Someone that buys one isn't an idiot for not buying a 570S or an R8, they're in fact people we should all strive to be like.
That NSX sounds amazing, I was at the concourse delegance yesterday and was on there it was beautiful
I saw one of these at the Philadelphia auto show, and I agree with Parker. Pictures cannot do it justice, it looks absolutely stunning in person.
Less than 2 minutes into the video and already you have 2 facts wrong, first of all they never considered a horizontally opposed 6-cylinder and secondly they showed the Ford GT at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show .....and it just recently went into production within the last 60 days which was almost exactly 2 years, not "less than a year later" according to you Parker

He misspoke. He meant a transverse V6, not a horizontally-opposed V6 (flat-6). The first mid-engine NSX concept had a transverse 3.5L naturally-aspirated V6. It was later redesigned to a longitudinal V6 to make room for the turbochargers.

The color name 130R is from the Formula1 track Suzuka in Japan it's like a super long, high speed, swooping turn all combined. Simple name but pretty cool keeping the connection with F1 since Ayrton Senna was the poster boy of the original NSX and had a ton of input towards that car

No it's NOT worth it. It's underated because it's unexciting. Honda dropped the price because people aren't buying it. There's way better cars at $156-$182k.

I have seen one of these In person and it was amazing. Video doesn't do it justice at all. Another rich guy toy to buy.

I saw two 2017 NSXs driving in my town. They were both white. I managed to catch them on video if anyone wants to watch it.. It's only 30 seconds long so it's not great but it was cool to see 2 of them at the same time.
I think if you get a Acura NSX for a GOOD price, it's worth it if, like you said, want to be unique.
Like a mini 918. It's a hybrid, AWD, lots of technology, handles good.
I would prefer to buy a used McLaren 570s

If this car were priced around 80 or 90k, it would be phenomenal and completely change everyone’s opinions.
to be honest I thik the Audi R8 is better, but I would choose the NSX for the simple reason that there wouldn't be a lot of people driving it around. If you have an NSX, there's a good chance you're the only person in your region to have one, sometimes, the only person in the country.

Now in the summer of 2018 you can buy NEW remaining dealer stock 2017 NSX for over $40,000 below MSRP. There are some NEW 2018 dealer stock for around $20,000 below sticker. Makes the NSX a little more competitive against Huracán and the like

The old Nsx was never simple if you look to what was actually out back then. it's engine was massively advanced for the time.

I don’t think I’ll be the first or the last to mention, 130R isn’t a random collection of numbers followed by a letter. It’s one of the most iconic corners on the F1 calendar. Oh, sorry, only F1 buffs and faithful will know that.

Hybrid technology on NSX is expensive shit you find on hypercar like 918 and P1. It set benmark back then and so is now. People just don't see it yet, this car is ahead of it time.

Acura screwed the pooch in two ways: This is nothing like the first NSX, so it can't tap into its successful history, and it took way too long to hit the market, with over-exposure every few months with testing updates from around the world.

Honestly not hating but this car is JUST like the old NSX in that it's a super car without all the downfalls it's a showcase of what Honda can do with all the latest technologies available, just like the old one.

I wish it didn't bother with that hybrid stuff. It was originally going to be a front engine V10 I believe.
