Definitely an awesome car for the price. I think it's worth it, because it looks like you can adjust it to your driving enthusiasm for that day. Other super cars seem like they're mad at you if you drive them normally.

Or by crackle, do you mean that high pitch sounds like you are revving it but forgot to put it in gear, or your neighbor is cutting plywood with a circular saw, like around 2:13 ?
I’m happy you guys never once said “it doesn’t look or act like the old NSX” like every other reviewer. The NSX is a victim of its own previous success because what it was meant to be was a technological experience that you could get at a price cheaper then Ferrari’s and such, yet people want it to be as it was in the 90s. Great job guys
Nicholas Sheena well enthusiasts in general are nightmares for car companies. The negative ones usually think they know EVERYTHING and criticize EVERYTHING but will only buy a vehicle when it’s old and used
Same with the new supra and really just sticking a name that was beloved by many on to something else, even if they're great cars they're always going to get hate just for the name
Paul Doodnath yup. Toyota actually made the new Supra more capable performance wise and price wise too. I’ve driven a stock A80 and the new Supra. The new one is far better.
When I was working at Acura, I was so lucky that I sold one to a local customer in July 2017. At that time we got a test drive demo for the customer before he made the purchase. I had a chance to test drive the NSX too. One of the best feeling in my life was when I took the NSX to highway QEW, in the passing lane, all the cars in front of me just moved away for me! And when you passed by, they all looked at you and looked so surprised and cheered for you! I understand the NSX might not be the best supercar in reputation, but believe me, you feel the throat is endless like it will never stop acceleration. Now I am working for BMW but I always miss Acura.
Most reviewers have bashed the NSX... for not being some "Hypercar"... BUT the original NSX, was an evolution in the modern "Supercar", so I think this new one, follows that theme/ethos/formula just fine.
I think that is because Matt and Chris have nothing to prove to anyone, and they can speak their minds. I like how Matt puts it in his street drive of the NSX, It has the same performance of a Ferrari 488 or a McLaren 570S, but cost half as much. That was the original benchmark for pricing on the NSX, match the performance of the current generation of Ferrari, but do it reliably and about half the price. I think Honda / Acura nailed it in that aspect. I honestly don't have an issue with the 150k base price, or well optioned out the way my wife's car is, cost us $175k (they charge about $6K just for the green).
And in traffic you’re arriving at the same time. The civics these days are not that bad a place to be. I have the 2018 accord and wanting to buy a sports car but have to spend a lot more to surpass the interior and tech.I would buy the type r if could get at msrp.
I love my Civic SI! Currently working on a 91 Acura NSX, salvaged. I can't believe how many people wreck these old NSX. Need to keep these beautiful work of arts on the road.

Front License Plate might be the worst law for car lovers. It just ruins the look of the car. Like a big zit on a good looking face. So glad that we don’t have that law in Michigan.
That's a rare case though. The overwhelming majority of cars with front license plate holders look like an afterthought. I've seen plenty of cars where if you removed the plate holder, you'd be stuck with two holes in the bumper.
Love the back and forth debate at the end of the video... You guys make a lot of sense !!! Another awesome video, especially because there is none of the satellite radio nonsense ;). I don't care about satellite radio... I want this NSX because of you guys now.
Some guy in our neighborhood has an older NSX and that thing just runs like a champ. My Mazda 3 has had to go to the shop more times than that NSX. Extremely happy that Honda keeps the reliability of it's expensive cars.
I like the looks of it, I appreciate that it's an Acura and would require comparatively, little to maintain, but something about a gt3 has always called my name.. Something more raw about the gt3... that's what I want when driving a car of that nature.. If I want comfort I'll drive my truck! Great video as always boys!

I actually like front license plates and prefer when cars have them. Cars are designed to have them meaning that cars look kind of wierd without them, especially European ones which clearly are meant to have front plates because of EU law
I think I know the best word to describe this car: refined. Other supercars may be refined in some ways, but that is not their dominant characteristics. Most of them are EDGY. But the NSX....is subtle and refined

I can't comment on the performance, as I've never driven one, but I honestly think this is the most beautiful machine ever built. Every line, nook and cranny is perfect from every angle. Normally, I can't stand chrome, but this even pulls that off. So many newer cars try too hard to look unique and futuristic, but often end up looking too busy and awkward. NSX has an incredibly high tech and aggressive style, but so masterfully designed and tasteful. It's the epitomy of sexy car design and I hope it's entire design team got a significant raise. This car is so underrated. I could stare at it all day. Pretty much obsessed.

How have I never heard of you guys before about 2 days ago? Loving your videos.. keep it up! In regards to the NSX, I finally saw one on the road about a week ago. It looks a lot better in person than in pictures. I do think the price is too high, but overall I really like it. I was on the fence until I saw it in person.
I know honda is really proud of the hybrid part but I think a lot of people would have been happy if this had also been offered in stripped down just twin turbo v6 rwd version at the right price.

Another enjoyable review guys. First time I've seen that color. Beautiful indeed. If you can afford the car, you can always change the exhaust for more sound and power. Bottom line, if I could afford it, I'd buy it.
You guys need to do a "best of _____" for 2018 or at least a "best of sport series" cars. Because you love on cars so much, every video is sounds it your new favorite car.
I like what you guys said about the NSX being too far ahead of its time. Yes other companies will go this route to produce fast cars and Honda just got a jump on the process. Bummer it isn't selling well as I know Honda has given us a wonderful super car. I am interested in the both the original and the new NSX. But I would rather have the new NSX more.

I agree. I bet the oil changes and other maintenance on this car aren't ridiculous like on a Lambo or Ferrari. So not only do you save on sticker price, you save on maintenance too. That will be ideal for me in 2025 when I can buy a used NSX for half price.

Sucks that Ontario forces license plates on front of cars. As a car guy it hurts me and the lines of the car. Great video as always.

I know honda is really proud of the hybrid part but I think a lot of people would have been happy if this had also been offered in stripped down just twin turbo v6 rwd version at the right price.

Another enjoyable review guys. First time I've seen that color. Beautiful indeed. If you can afford the car, you can always change the exhaust for more sound and power. Bottom line, if I could afford it, I'd buy it.
You guys need to do a "best of _____" for 2018 or at least a "best of sport series" cars. Because you love on cars so much, every video is sounds it your new favorite car.

I like what you guys said about the NSX being too far ahead of its time. Yes other companies will go this route to produce fast cars and Honda just got a jump on the process. Bummer it isn't selling well as I know Honda has given us a wonderful super car. I am interested in the both the original and the new NSX. But I would rather have the new NSX more.
Such a sweet piece of machinery! I have only spotted two of them in town. Price is steep for most people, but if you are lucky enough, you own a nice car!
I forget how small these supercars are, like for the longest I thought the Aventador and Veyron were huge cause of their wide body and full piece designs until I saw ppl next to them and then when I saw it in person. Like @00:08

All of the "cooler" cars would not last nearly as long as the NSX, and would be much less reliable and costly to maintain.
I agree. I bet the oil changes and other maintenance on this car aren't ridiculous like on a Lambo or Ferrari. So not only do you save on sticker price, you save on maintenance too. That will be ideal for me in 2025 when I can buy a used NSX for half price.
