Bought a 1995 Warrior last summer, blew up about 3 months into my owning it due to prior neglect, so I put a +4 stroker and bored it out. Now it’s a 425, and I’m getting it back from a professional tune-up in less than a month. Wish me luck!

Pete, definitely enjoy watching your videos...I have a Raptor 700R and son (8) has a Raptor 90 and we ride every weekend...Silver lake sand dunes are on my bucket list...hope to get there this summer...Not sure of best way to secure quads at night in hotel!!! Maybe a self storage place

It's pretty fun! We can really only do it in the southern MN because it's all rural farmland. Our ditch riding is seasonal. The ditches are closed form April 1st to August 1st for animal nesting.

@@PeteHager do you have to rebuild the engine after a number of hours of use, like on a dirtbike, or not?
@@emanuelcosma8329 as far as I know the raptor 700 should run for several hundred hours before it would need that level of maintenance.

What size bed you have, we just got a raptor and its so close to fitting with the gate closed but we just cant do it. So hard not to get on it during break in, the things a BEAST.
My bed is 6 foot 4 inches. The raptor is pretty much 6 feet from end to end. I was pretty aggressive with mine during the break in. I ran it up to 3/4 throttle and just varied throttle positions constantly until I had hit about that 7-8 hour mark. After that I did my first wide open pull and I've been pretty much riding it like normal since then! probably pushing 70 hours now!

This is probably a stupid question. I might get my first quad tomorrow the raptor 350. I love the look of this 700 though. Can I replace my fairings to make it look like that in the front? Does anyone know? Thanks :)
Hey man! awesome to hear you might be getting your first quad tomorrow! I bet your stoked! 😬 I've never seen anyone swap 700 plastics onto a 350 but it may be possible. I'm sure it would take some modifying so at the very least maybe try to find a set of cheap, beat up 700 plastics that you can try to make work but won't lose much money on if they don't.. Good Luck!

Ditches are open to ride in the southern portion of MN during certain seasons. Theres parts of the state where it isnt allowed. If you google atv ditch riding in Minnesota you'll find out the details. The ditches open up August 1st!

How long can the raptor drive on a full tank ?
Sebastian jungren hmm it really depends on how hard your running the machine. I always fill up way before I would run normally. Motoposh just did a video on the Raptors gas mileage and I’d say you can for sure get 75 miles out of a tank, maybe sometime I’ll calculate my mileage on a ditch ride this fall
So i have a 350 raptor and 4 door ram lil bed and it fits with door shut what tire size do you set up on 700 mine are 21x7x10 and 20x10x9

Michael Joyce just more stronger than stock bars and you can get different lengths and angles for your comfort
Sorry I missed this comment. I changed the bars mainly for cosmetic reasons, I like the look of bar pad plus I wanted them to be a little lower on the machine so the bend is less aggressive. Like Andrew said, they're stronger and you can customize sizing to your needs

Where did you get those stickers that cover the safety stuff on the left fender ?
If you go onto ebay and type in "Raptor 700 Warning Labels" some stainless steel replacements should show up in your search results. They have 2 sets for certain model years so make sure you get the set for your quad. 👍

Minnesota. You can legally ride most ditches depending on the county from August 1st through April 1st. They're closed for the summer

I have about 25-30 hours on my raptor and i've tightened it twice

At the time of this video it just had a power commander and an HMF exhaust. It's going to have some new internal work done to it when I pick it up in a couple weeks

The links to my handlebars and bar clamps are in my video descriptions. Note that I have the Pro Taper Contour bars in the "ATV Mid" bend. If you like the stock bar height or your a taller rider you may want to go with "ATV High" or the Raptor Bend

Nita Chambers I wish I could but the gopro GPS isn’t very strong and for the best signal you have to mount it on the top of your helmet. I mount mine upside down below my chin bar so most of the time the GPS data is inaccurate if it records at all

They do not make the 350s or 250s anymore, so unless you find one used, you cant get one. Honda is really the only one making smaller sport quads (trx250x)

@@PeteHager ive had a ds80 when i was younger its a dirtbike and some honda 300cc atv so i know how to ride but not too experienced my dad said get a 250 but if its too fast i could stay in first gear
