  • This intermediate / advanced Power Pilates class is like a regular Pilates class…but as always, I’ve “remixed” our traditional exercises into something fun and fresh and designed this workout in a way that really packs a punch and will get your heart rate up.     I feel so good after this workout! A fantastic whole body burn. I definitely worked up a good sweat!
    Since doing your routines, my pelvic tilt is drastically reduced as I have strengthened my whole core and glute area, and I realized last night that my lower back pain is gone and it used to keep me up at night.
    I have balanced my muscle strength, and my figure looks so much longer and leaner. I'm seeing definition in places I never thought to focus on. Your routines are so well-rounded, and I am so grateful!
    You and your workouts have changed my life, and how good it feels to be in my body when I thought at 33 I was going to have increasing back pain for the rest of my life.
    Thank you for showing me how to heal myself.

    I clicked onto this, not noticing the 'advanced' bit, so i was surprised when i managed all but the shoulder stand, which i never do anyway as im not convinced i do them correctly and wont risk my neck. I just modified the movements so it worked my core or inner thighs.
    Not bad for someone who couldnt even see their feet 5 years ago, let alone touch them.
    My favourite channel for Pilates too - i do a video everyday; mainly after a weights/cardio workout as i find it better than static stretching. My mobility has never been better either, and im a few years past 40 now.

    Oh wow this was challenging especially at the end! Ok, here I go again..LOVED the music! I believe my arms are getting stronger due to me being able to do more of your arm exercises than I used too. YAY..LULU so cute needing her walk..AWWWWWWWW

      Power Pilates, and slow/controlled are my favorites. Pilates is probably one of the best additions I made to my workouts as it helps for my daily yoga. Glad I discovered her channel

      @@andreaj7458 I did Pilates every once in a while, but since last summer I started adding it in more regularly. I also have some equipment now that I love to use too during my practice (either self practice or another channel that’s equipment based) and will often add them to Desiree’s practices for extra challenges. I also love the background music she has for these too. Makes it feel even more peaceful and relaxing.

    Whoa Desirée!!! Whoa! What a fabulously challenging class! I especially loved the pace, and
    your voice kept me grounded and pushing through. Some of
    the exercises were hard but, I’m so thankful, I was able to
    complete the full class - with
    the exception of the kick jumps.
    I didn’t think I had those in me today. Perhaps next time I’ll
    give them a try. Thank you for yet another masterpiece of a Pilates class.
    Lulu’s appearance made the class even more enjoyable. I love it when she shows herself.

    My favourite thing to do after working out with your videos, is to pinch on my abs. I SWEAR they feel harder and harder everyday!
    Would you consider making a video on gaining dancing speed? No matter how good our technique is, many times us dancers struggle with speed - and we don't really know which muscles are associated with it, either!

    Vi had been sick for the past few days and today I felt I needed to sweat to get rid of what was still in my body. Mission accomplished. The only thing is that doing the stretch legs wide open that hurt my low back. I am know trying to get rid of the pain with child pose. I did try to bend through my hips but probably not enough , and this is my weak part in my body. Any advise for that one ? As always you are amazing Desiree 🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

    How can I master 28:37? I feel more weight in the elbows and shoulders. I’ve been using my hands to support my hips.

      Are you referring to the reverse forearm tabletop? Be sure your elbows are lined up directly under your shoulders and your feet are lined up directly under your knees. This position requires a lot of posterior chain engagement and strength (arms, back, glutes, hamstrings), so be sure to keep strengthening those areas. Practice makes PROGRESS - you got this! 🥰💖💐💪🏼
