Absolutely enchanting! I have always loved homemaking, everything about it. I am now 70 and you have so inspired me by renewing my love of homemaking.. and what I call productive puttering. I get up at least three times during your video to putter, move something, rummage through a cupboard to bring out a long forgotten item..Thank you so much the inspiration!
Linda Kuzak me too ,lm the same age as you ,l watched Angela’s knew video September 2020 l immediately went into my office/library to tidy it up ,we dumped stuff in there while the den was painted ,love Angela’s decor l mix colours styles except modern too
@Camila Negron Thank you! I needed to hear that today! I will be 71 Oct 11...Truth be told though, that picture was taken several years ago...Perhaps I should update it!......okay I just updated it!
I think my favorite parts are the small snippets of your children running around in the "before" clips. I can just imagine how, years from now, when everyone is much older, how wonderful and sweetly nostalgic it'll be to see your young babies in that house you built with love.
Absolutely enchanting❤️ Make sure the sink has no lead in it! Our friend had an old farmhouse sink she washed & soaked the girls cups & bottles. They developed high levels of lead poisoning...
I can see why you wanted this house - it was spacious, had a very attractive vibe and so very much potential. You have added so much warmth and character.
Thank you for planning on joining us for a new episode of Everyday Chateau. We had a ton of computer problems (again!) so I'm so happy to have this loaded and ready for you. You all are the BEST! Thanks for making this channel what it is! See you tonight!
I watched this last night. Everything is coming together so beautifully. I woke up this morning determined to finally rip out an oddly placed, traffic flow blocking, peninsula in my kitchen. Thanks for the inspiration! 🤗
I am in love. I am in love with you house, Angela. It looks so simple yet charming and sophisticated. So much thought was put in every detail. Thank you for inspiration.
This is so beautiful and reminds me of my husband's sister, Linda's house. Her home is so beautiful, calming and comforting, so homey! It doesn't matter if she is in an elegant building or a rundown old home, she always manages to make it elegant and homey. Linda did champagne (mimosa's) breakfasts. They were so fun.
The importance of before and after pictures are essential, and encouraging to see how far you've come in the course of a year. All the hard work is truly worth it. I thought what you said to collect things that you love and insert them into your living space ~ inside and outside ~ brings in your personal essence and enlivens your home.
Now that's a real farmhouse. Absolutely beautiful. Your personality shines through the entire home. Love the antiques and your beautiful flowers from your garden
I recently moved home to our family farm and have been doing renovations. I love the changes you've made without creating a modern, sterile environment. Thank you for sharing.
I really enjoyed watching your video. You are extremely creative and I absolutely love the fact that you are being so true to your souls calling. Very inspiring!!!
Beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing. FYI- if you are going to keep your eggs out of the fridge it is suggested you do not wash them as they have an enzyme coating on the outside of the egg to prevent bacteria from entering the egg. Can be googled to confirm. Of course if I get a dirty egg I do wash it and put directly into fridge. If eggs are getting dirty not enough hay or whatever nesting material you are providing. Peace, Love, Prosperity and Good Health to you and your beautiful family.
@@julierobinson8311 not sure if you are asking me or not. I personally have left some out in a basket for two weeks if I have not used them I move them to the fridge or give away. I think it depends on where you live the temperature in your house, etc.....This is if eggs are not washed and have never been refrigerated. Once eggs are refrigerated they must remain in the fridge. I will say if I have lost track of the amoun of time I have left them out I will fill a stockpot with water and do the floating test to see if eggs are still good. Any egg that floats is bad. I hope this helps.

I revisited this video while ironing and have to say it was such a treat. What you have started with and the progress you and your family have made both indoors and outdoors is inspiring.
I'm glad to see there are a few of us maximalists around. I love homes like yours. There's nothing better than having unusual, pretty things around you that you've hunted down over the years. It's so homely, chic and, most of all, unique. Stunning x
I think the ship lap is perfect on your walls. they have been around forever, fading in and out of style, but they are timeless to me and I really love the blue trim. hope that is carried through out. it's fresh and crisp
Hello! I am writing you from Illinois. I have just discovered your You Tube Blog and I am impressed. My dream for MANY years has been to move to Door County. I want an old house with lots of character, a few acres (although 1 would be good), chickens and a big garden. I have saved my precious "antiques" waiting to put them in the right house. I have many the same as yours. I have vacationed in Door County every year since I was 18 years old (almost 64 now). I still get excited when I go over the bridge in Sturgeon Bay. I should say, I am not alone. I do have a husband who absolutely loves the water. I have 3 grown children who always vacation with us. We make it up there at least 4 times per year. We have been looking for a retirement home, look EVERY DAY when we return from work. I have had extra time these days as I am being advised to "stay home" due to lack of patients in the office. I am a nurse. Lately I am very disturbed as I read the articles regarding the request from Door County residents advising the "part timers" to "stay home", we don't want you. Then the bantering back and forth that sometimes gets pretty ugly. I don't think I want to retire to live in a community that is so hateful. Please tell me you still love it up there? I am sorry I am putting this on your blog but it is very important. We were looking to make the move soon. I absolutely love what you have done with your life, your house, raising your children out in the country. You worked very VERY hard for what you have. You have inspired me to maybe get out of this "rat race" sooner, so my husband and I can really start "living" our lives. Thank you.
I love how you mention letting the house speak to you. We moved almost 2 years ago & it’s taking me time to cover all of the windows. I didn’t want to quickly do something & not be happy with it! The only uncovered windows are in a great room with a view. I really enjoy your tours!!
I couldn't help but chuckle a bit as you showed us around. I live in a 1886 Folk Victorian we redid and like you I think I was flea marketing for 2 decades before we bought it. Now we're in our late 60's and while I love my wonderful finds, it's getting tougher to keep up with all of it. So what I'm getting at is ENJOY it now. Your home is beautiful and OLD things in a old house works perfectly. :o)
So many of us are guilty of storing our keepsakes in boxes to enjoy “some day”. I love that you keep all of your memories and treasures throughout your home for all to enjoy! It’s just one of the features that makes you house a home. You have inspired me to do the same. Your home is lovely. 🌸 🌹
🦋There are so many items to remark on, but I wouldn't have enough time there are so many beautiful ones. I'll just say I love everything you've done, and my favorite is your copper sink. So warm and comfortable. God Bless you your family, in your wonderful home.
I'm new to your channel...love everything about your video. Your calm way of presenting your gorgeous home, the copper sink...to die for...drool! Beautiful home, and garden...thank you for sharing. I've subscribed. Can hardly wait to see another vid. ❤️ your 👗 by the way. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Your house is just dreamy and beautiful and the transformation from when you first moved in incredible! Thank you for sharing your home and family with us. You always give me a lot of inspiration. Those snapdragons are gorgeous. I am also a fan of the movie "A Good Year."
WOWWW!!!! I am just in awe! I know you mentioned it is a Botanical style house... but It just feels soooo different from the rest of the US that I immediately think French or English, which is amazing! I commend you for having such a talent at remodeling this entire home. I get anxiety just thinking about remodeling anything! You're children are going to be so grateful growing up in such a beautiful and cozy home.
What a beautiful home!!!...I love it when you enter a space and the second you lay your eyes on something it starts to tell a story. I can imagine sitting in any of those beautiful rooms while having intimate conversation with friends for hours. Incredible attention to detail and great taste. I love your sense of style and how you let all those beautiful things that surround you tell your story. Amazing!!!!
Hi 🙋🏾♀️ new subbie! I must say I’m blown away..still picking up my jaw off the floor lol. It looks like a real French farmhouse. Love all the vibrant colors.. have a blessed day darlings 🙏🏽💞🙏🏽💞

What a perfect garden moment with you out cutting flowers and the butterfly making a debut!!

Cheers to you on celebrating progress and not waiting til its “complete”. It’s really coming along nicely. Both house and garden.
I love that you're not minimalistic. You're home looks like a home.
I can't stand the minimalistic thing, not to mention the "tiny house" movement. Don't people have lives?
Me too.
