I watched this yesterday & today at Goodwill found an amazing oil on board painting “double”sided!!!! $5.49 ❤ it’s signed & dated 1931
Angela I can see you are not "back" yet!! You have stars in your eyes. Lovely items but my favourites are the paintings by Charlotte Mousson. Just beautiful! Glad you had a fantastic trip and came back (or so to speak...:) ) refreshed and renewed.
You look so pretty in the red/white top! Lots of great treasures! I'll have to watch more videos to see if you mention what the blue color is on your walls. It is a nice background color!
The fabrics.....seriously...OMG....I paused and zoomed and WOW! Yes....what is it about a stone cottage, or those gorgeous fabrics. .Maybe it's in our DNA...Our ancestors' experiences may have influenced our DNA in a way that alters our behavior when we encounter certain things in the present. ♥

...."something about a stone cottage with an orange roof"..... Then you'd love our home right here in the Upper (Upper!) Midwest of the U.S. 🥰 While the roof isn't quite as orange as in the painting, it does have an orange undertone in the shingles. And the exterior is very realistic faux stones. In fact our entire property looks very European/French-inspired, complete with an orchard and vineyard, cobblestone-like courtyard and driveway. Our home looks quite similar to the third Charlotte Musson painting, the one you just purchased. I'm convinced that the builders of our home either traveled to France or had a love-affair with it. 😊😊 (And yes, I do decorate with a French-inspired interior, albeit one with a lighter "hand" approach. 😉😉)
You sure did find some wonderful treasures on your trip! Magnifique! 👍👍In 2013 we went to Europe. While we didn't get to Paris, one of the highlights of the trip was going to a flea market in Strasbourg during Christmas time! A memory that still happily resonates for me. 🥰

What fabulous finds!! I watched your Vavanes video before our trip to Paris that we returned from recently. We went Saturday morning on 4/27, maybe you were there?? Thanks for the information about it, it was so helpful and easy to find! I bought an oil painting by Albert Lourenço. Apparently he was friends with Picasso according to the internet. I agree that many of the vendors that I took the time to speak with were very knowledgeable and helpful. I brought a small French tapestry piece from home with me in the hope that they could help me identify it. One vendor did his best so that was nice. I wish I had more time but still it was a fabulous experience!!!

Since you love the green Parisian chairs in the Luxembourg Garden, I wanted to mention that the Paris firm who makes them, Fermob partnered with Pottery Barn in the US and you can buy them online from Pottery Barn. Not cheap but the real things. Also the little tables. At Fountainbleau, I also stood in that same spot to photo everything and there was a mother Swan and her new babies on the grass where the boats are. Love Paris and France.
Amazon has a very similar bistro set for $119. I’m sure not as nice as the PB one but an option.

@@barbarathomas2471 The Fermob ones are made to last 60-70 years out in the open outside weather. Its not about price. I think they run about $914.
Love the painting of fountain blue because I live in fountain blue. I moved here two years ago is a 70-year-old American retired teacher.
What a haul. I couldn't get enough. Just when I thought this can't get any better we went into your kitchen. I just about as they say in the south "had a spell". Crazy about it all.

Regarding Charlotte Musson, WOW you got gems. Did you see the UA-cam video about her art posted by Fanfanchatblanc? Seems she was a portrait painter more than a landscape artist. Definitely had her own very recognizable style. I am so happy you got three of her works.

I loved what you got me there last year but I saw some of your gold framed paintings that are less cost than mine was and which I just adore! But most or all are gone already. I never got a notice you had listed new things so I missed out this time. Boo hoo!!!!!!! I know your house is large but you are going to need a larger house soon for all you are finding.
The shop says new items listed every Friday and the gold ones posted (and sold) were much more than what your small floral was last year. All prices are based on what I paid, suitcase space (the cost of extra suitcases or shipping and of course an profit for my time). Things move VERY fast from the hype after I get back.

May I suggest that you write down the stories (and put that paper in an envelope) that go with items that you've collected and tape the envelope to the back/bottom/inside of the item. You will not be here forever to keep telling those stories and one day your treasures will become the children's heirlooms and they will want to have those stories....and they will be told through your handwriting....
