I really like this haircut and am going to show this video to my stylist. It is versatile and young. The bang part is excellent. I've watched many bang tutorials, and I think this is the best one I've watched. 5 steps, blunt without pressure at the bridge of the nose, layered vertically overdirecting to each side, layered horizontally at the top, the corners trimmed, and finally thinned with thinning scissors. You are right, this is a versatile cut suitable for any age. Thanks!

Thanks for making these awesome videos. They are mesmerizing to watch! Recently got one of the worst cuts in my life. The hairdresser cut bangs and when I asked her to blend it into the sides a bit, she pulled forward from the crown and cut out a hunk, so it looks like I have a mullet now! Not a good look on below the shoulder hair with no other layers. Now I know for sure what went wrong.

I wasn't happy with my haircut so I cut it again following your method.
Every time I lifted the hair up there were always some odd stands so
kept cutting at it and now my hair is very short with a couple of holes
at the back of the head. Anyway it actually doesn't look bad because I
j=have thick wavy hair so the holes are not obvious. I am going to grow
it out and try it again cuz this style looks amazing

If you're cutting the hair yourself (given you don't have arms in the back and not a solid mirror behind you too), could it make a good guideline to separate the hair in the middle back, brush and pull it forward, tying at same length under your chins and cut it off? That should make it shorter in the back etc.
Hope you've got time to answer, really wanna cut my hair soon - can't afford to go to a hairdresser and I kinda hate them anyway, they never make it like I wanted, I've cut my own hair for 4 years I think, after 10 years never getting pretty hair. 😅
Also they always cut off 10 cm too much, even when saying just to trim the flossed edged, lol.
You seem very good at doing what people want, not forcing the hair and such. Wish I could come, it'd take a flight. :P

Fantastic tutorial. It was so detailed.
If I could only get a hair cut from you.
I was a person who went frequently to get cuts, trims, lights ( finally got hair blonde w/o to much damage), then covid hit. I got a full service cut, lights February 2020 and haven't done hair since. It's now long to my middle/ lower back and so dark ( surprising since natural color use to be dirty blonde/golden lights).
I've been watching tutorials on do it yourself, but how I would love for you to give me the cut you just gave Emily , the model.
I am definitely subscribing, hoping to try this cut on daughter.
    Thank you!

So I wanted to do something feminine and simple to balance it all out while also keeping as much length as possible. Perfect for my wavy super dense hair. Also like I said I’m broke so I can’t afford to go to the salon and I really think I can do this. 🙌Your tutorial was so informative and easy to understand! Thanks dude! This is my haircut with out the bangs. I'm tired of my hair in my face, but I can't decide on what I wanna do with them. I don't
Like these you did ( no offense). I honestly don't know what I do like. Btw, my stylist kept my front sides longer and I'm struggling with those also . My curl pattern is 2a - 2c so it's so hard for me to make them play nice together and blend.
Does any of this make sense? Lol
