@@devon_meows keep your hair the most natural as possible, give love to your curls, there's a lot of videos for girl with different curls with bangs here on YT.
i had this exact problem so my solution is- cut it yourself haha. that’s what i did and have been doing for years now. just using youtube tutorials. and it looks great, it’s really not that hard. you just have to go for it and also pls never go too short at first (learned my lesson😂)
Okay. So, i watched this video. I immediatly wanted the bangs. I grabbed my daughters scissors, ran into the bathroom and did it. And you know what: i have to go to the salon tomorrow 😂 i LOVE how the bangs came out, i look freaking adorable at the front. But my few-month-old-boring-classic-bob rest of my hair looks so boring and not fresh now, i have to get a new (shaggy) cut tomorrow. With my lovely bangs. Did i already mention that i looooove them?!😂 So thanks for that tutorial.
@@selectiveoutrage6617 i have no idea what the name is for my haircut now🤔 my hairdresser kept my length (between chin and neck) because i want to let it grow longer (like maybe shoulderlength or a little longer) and gave the cut layers, starting at ear height. Now the bangs blend in quite good and i like the outcome ☺️
Watching you blow dry was so helpful. I've been doing this 30 years and I still suck at it. You did things with your bangs I never would have tried and now I know I can. So helpful, thank you!
You look absolutely gorgeous, after the cut of your bangs. Very classy and sassy .. I feel very inspired after watching your vid :) Thank you, Bekah :)
Your video helped me a lot I went to get a shag cut with bangs I am the only person who has ever cut my hair I am not a professional but I could have done a better job thank you for helping me fix their mess up. 😊
So pretty on you :) been awhile since I’ve cut bangs on myself (did hair for 15 years), so was looking for some inspiration to remind me how to do on myself. All those memories came flooding back watching this. Thank you! ❤
I love how she's like, "I don't do it perfect, you don't have to do it perfect". Because I have always wanted to do my own hair but feel like I have to be absolutely perfect. This has given me the confidence to try!
Thank you so much! I have been wanting to do something like this but was scared of messing it up because I wear my hair tied up or back a lot. I followed this and it looks sooooo cute even when tied up or back! Thank you thank you!
You have a fun personality and at first I was intimidated by the extra tools you were using but I continued to watch because of your personality. I love your comments about having to get used to the look of bangs. I hated mine initially and was going to grow them out but now I love them!
Yes, I just tried this and I love it. You’re right you have to give your hair at least a week to fiddle with the bangs. Otherwise it’s so easy to style love the quickness of being able to put it up and still have some face framing layers around the face. Thank you for the video. It was really cool.
Those look so good on you. This is exactly what I am wanting to do and I have a natural curl that is a little more dramatic that a wave but not quite "curly". I'm sure if i did the "curly girl method" then I'd have some serious curl, though.
Thank you. Mine don't look the same, because I don't have the skill set you do, but still they look great, and I couldn't have done it without you. I cut mine a little longer than yours and parted them, so I have those long side bangs now. And I have the rest of my hair pulled back right now so I can see my bangs easier, and they fall in a really pretty way. Thought doing something like that was above my paygrade! :>
I’ve refreshed my bangs myself following your tutorial, thank you for clear and professional explanation of correct sectioning and all the tips. I liked my result even better than the original done by my hairdresser, although, she did set everything correctly, and thanks to her and you, I was able to freshen and finetune the overgrowth to my liking ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
I was wearing clip in bangs for a week straight when I finally had enough and decided to finally cut my own bangs instead!!! Very impulsive of me, it doesn't look half as good as yours but I appreciated the simple triangle tips!! Thank you!
It's also easy to just use the parts as you did and comb the section up cymetrcal. Cut across. Once the hair drops the weight comes off and its automatically textured. I'm a hairdresser for 50 yrs. This is how I teach my clients for trimming in-between haircuts.
@user-wi8fr9ee7u You can lift the middle part of the bangs straight up and cut, then angle the sides straight up and cut. Do the same for the other side. You don't have to point cut if you don't want to, but you can. Either way it will come out good. Remember the head is round so when you cut straight up the bangs will be longer but lighter at the same time because they will drop gradually taking the weight off, which will look nice and not heavy.
Oh wow. Wife here again. I commented how much I liked it before I knew you were going to style it too!! This cut looks great both ways. Before styling like for a hike or beach or even just on the couch watching a movie! Then it looked super nice after you styled & versatile because it could be dressy or casual. Very cool.
Omg! I’ve watched SO many vids thru the years on how to get mine done. After applying your guidance mine are perfect!! Minus the texturing/thinning, they flow so well. Thanks SO much
I loved watching this, and listening too. You made it so I can understand. My hair is super fine and I need bangs due to menopausal hair loss. I'm taking my hair into my own hands. I can't seem to find someone that is understanding of what's going on with it. Thank you!
Thank you, I don't know if I f*cked up mine, but I actually love the look. Been wanting to try it for the longest time, but my hairdresser kept telling me not to lol I've joined the proud middle-aged women club enhancing their youth with bangs thanks to you
I am fascinated by your bangs and your mastery. I will show your video to my hairstylist. I just went to Montana, in a cafe there was a woman with the same bangs/hair style as yours. They looked so beautiful! So I came back to Alabama, looked in UA-cam for “cool nice bangs”, your video was the first one in the list. I watched it, 1, 2, 5 times, I don’t need to watch anything else. You are a professional who is great at her craft. Thank you, so very much, for taking the time and using your hair to teach us. I won’t cut my own hair, but, as I mentioned earlier, I am taking your video to my hairstylist. Thank you for such awesome bangs! (Well, the whole hairstyle!) A subscribed fan!
