Oh, I know this feeling. It's amazing to find someone like this, and it feels weird at first when we found out how similar we are. We agree on so many things. We communicate in the same way, we're both honest and open with each other. He has a way of encouraging me I haven't experienced with anyone else. Me: *Soemone who has never been in a relationship and yet still comes to watch the videos about relationships or emotions that surround the topic* Heh... Why am I here...? In all seriousness through, I think this can go alone with friends and family members we are close to. I have a best friend I feel very comfortable with and can talk to him about anything and he understands because he's going through something similar. It's a nice thing to have that kind of person. I don't do this often with people either from having terrible trust issues. I could talk to him on the phone for a long time and not get tired, and I usually hate talking on the phone with people. I don't mind seeing them now and then but I don't need constant interaction with seeing or hearing them. I'm very interverted and love being alone, and when I don't mind talking to someone for hours, you better believe that they are special.
Thanks for sharing! This not only applies to romantic relationship but to your family or friends. I am glad you have a best friend that you’re comfortable to talk about anything. Sometime we just need that best friend to be beside us. Did you find this video relatable to your life?
@@Psych2go So true. Yeah I did for the most part. It took me back when either or us were struggling and the other person would help them out however we could. Thanks! I always enjoy your guys' videos. They're simple and fun.
As a demisexual I'd like to say that this is the only kind of attraction I feel towards others and I've never been able to put it into words. This was very helpful, thanks
As a pansexual I feel emotional attracted to people and partners. So I can relate to a lot of this as it's in my daily life, when I get attracted to someone it's through our emotional bond. ❤️❤️
As an asexual, this is about as intense as it gets for me :p Speaking of, I'd really love it if you made a video about asexuality sometime! It might help more people to understand- and maybe not treat us like broken, unnatural freaks. Sometimes ignorance can be very hurtful. Thank you xx
Comfortable around them, Enjoy their company, Admire them, Share same beliefs with them, Care about their opinions, Ask their advice, Interested endlessly, Express emotions
Don't confuse it withe "love" could be what you only, are feeling. Many different kinds of attractions.. Took me the span of a lifetime to figure this out, hope it helps you! You'll know "Love" when I find it..
I always experience emotional attraction before physical attraction. But because the emotional attraction takes so long to build it makes it difficult to date people.
this is how i feel about a close friend i've known for over 20 years. we're both straight men. my life would be empty without him. we've both been betrayed by women, but we're totally here for each other.
"At least out loud, I won't say I'm in love..." no but seriously I DONT WANT TO ADMIT IT TO HIM I THINK HES SO COOL AND WHENEVER WE HANG OUT WE JOKE ABOUT HOW OUT PARENTS THINK WE'RE DATING AND I DONT WANT TO LOSE HIM AS A FRIEND BUT THE ONLY TIMES IVE EVER ADMITTED MY FEELINGS TO PEOPLE I EDNED UP BEING SUPER AWKWARD......... ...that actually felt kinda good to get off my chest, even if its just to random people on the internet...
Food for thought: we live in a day and age where love and long and meaningful relationships are harder to come by. Because of social media, sexualities and mental health. To all the people out there feeling like they are not capable of finding someone, you will. Because why not? Why wouldn’t someone chose you? The key is to look after yourself a little more and to accept who you are a little more. To my asexuals and Demi’s, you will find love. You will find it. I know how hard it is. Sending so much love to all. 💛
I thought I had a deep emotional connection with someone but it turns out he already has someone else currently. Watching this video was honestly pretty painful :/
Paula Sofía Contreras oh my goodness i’ve never related to anything more. I’ve liked my very good friend for so long. I promised myself to never tell him and just get over him because I know he has alot of stuff he needs to figure out, and I don’t want to be another problem. It just hurts so much that I can’t let go of that hope.
Feel..or felt the same. Because I‘m stupid I confessed to her. We‘re „no longer friends at the moment“. She‘s avoiding me. I‘m avoiding her. Even changed train connections to not spend more time together. She wants me to move on, because she doesn’t want to hurt me & because she doesn‘t know how to deal with my attention and affection. Really long story. Maybe sometimes we‘ll get back to the friendship we had. Maybe we won‘t. It sucks. Can‘t recommend confessing at this point. ://
Eight years ago, I had a girlfriend that gave me emotional support and it made me so happy, but we broke up one day, and my world and mental wellbeing was shattered. I've not had that kind of emotional support since, and I'm now 22. I'm now at that period of my life where I'll need to take more responsibility and make a life for myself, but without this type of emotional support and suffering from depression, this makes doing those things almost impossible.
if you love someone through phone screens even without seeing their face and knowing anything about their personal stuffs like their age and location, it is true love right there.
Key insights 💖 Emotional attraction is a key ingredient in making our bonds with those around us meaningful and intimate. 😌 When you feel understood by someone, it's easy to be around them and you can be yourself. 💭 You deeply enjoy talking to this person no matter how many hours you spend with them, you never seem to run out of things to discuss because you find them so endlessly fascinating and engaging. 🤗 You even appreciate all their little quirks and mannerisms, like the way they laugh or move because you feel so emotionally attracted to them. 💞 When you share the same core values with someone, you can't help but gravitate toward them and become emotionally invested in your relationship with them. 😍 If the feelings you have for them are rooted in emotional attraction, no amount of time you spend together will ever make you lose interest in them. 🌟 Over time, emotional attraction strengthens bonds with the people we love, making our relationships endure.
I think this is the one big reason I've never stuck into relationships....never had much emotion connections, nothing ended up working out like we thought
I can relate to this. I've had a crush on my long distance friend since forever, but never said a thing, which I really don't recommend. He told me he liked me three weeks ago and now we're going out lol
@@anonumosGirl 8. You can be vulnerable with them. (...) When you have an emotional attraction to someone, you're comfortable displaying your emotions around them.
Bro I mark all of these! I just had a zoom audio call with my best friend yesterday and although it wasn't long (because we tried playing a game while the call was on but my pc crashed) I cherished every second of it. I love my best friend like I would if I had a brother. I don't think I would've lived to this moment had I not met him. I am forever in his debt.
I’ve noticed that I feel safest with my close friend, I feel like I can say or do anything I feel in his presence cuz he’ll understand and defend me. It’s always a good time when I’m around him🥰 I love having him as my friend

I’m emotionally attracted to my friends, but I still don’t feel comfortable being vulnerable with them :/
are you a wizard? how did you comment 1 month ago on a video from 5 minutes ago?
@@juicykiwi7347 yeah I notice that...he's a Russian time traveler
All the comments like this; I think this vid was locked in an "undisclosed location" and released...
ur not emotionally attracted to them if u cant be vulnerable with them
Me: *Soemone who has never been in a relationship and yet still comes to watch the videos about relationships or emotions that surround the topic* Heh...
Haven't had anybody to have those type conversations with in about 20 years... I miss my best friend..

I know right?!
been here since psych2go was at 500k. so proud that they’ve reached 4.1 million!!!
As a demisexual I'd like to say that this is the only kind of attraction I feel towards others and I've never been able to put it into words. This was very helpful, thanks
I was blessed to have a strong mutual emotional attraction with my late husband. We *loved* talking to each other for hours!
This also applies to platonic love right? I really admire my best friends and these kinda relate to me
Of course!
I’m aroace but I feel these in my platonic relationships so yep :)
Absolutely!..
For sure!
8/8 for me. I'm lucky to know this person and I'm glad I met them.
As a pansexual I feel emotional attracted to people and partners. So I can relate to a lot of this as it's in my daily life, when I get attracted to someone it's through our emotional bond. ❤️❤️
Whoever did the voiceover in this one legitimately has one of the most soothing voices I’ve ever heard
As an asexual, this is about as intense as it gets for me :p Speaking of, I'd really love it if you made a video about asexuality sometime! It might help more people to understand- and maybe not treat us like broken, unnatural freaks. Sometimes ignorance can be very hurtful. Thank you xx
^^^^
This, yes
And having that someone you find emotionally attractive is the best feeling in the world. No one else is matter anymore.
fall in love with a person you enjoy being with and can spend your time with ❤️
Comfortable around them, Enjoy their company, Admire them, Share same beliefs with them, Care about their opinions, Ask their advice, Interested endlessly, Express emotions
I just found out that I'm obsessed and now I discover that I'm obsessed not in love bc I'm emotionally attracted, huh, who would guess? 🤔
SAME!!! 😂😂😂
@@restingInpieces lol, it's kinda amusing right? 😂
Oof-
What a fat mood
Don't confuse it withe "love" could be what you only, are feeling. Many different kinds of attractions.. Took me the span of a lifetime to figure this out, hope it helps you! You'll know
"Love" when I find it..
This video is so helpful! 🙌🏼 Thanks for sharing this insightful advice! 😊
I always experience emotional attraction before physical attraction. But because the emotional attraction takes so long to build it makes it difficult to date people.
Thanks! I met a person the first time and I already feel at ease and my anxiety just disappear when I’m with them. Great video 🙃
If I’m not attracted to you emotionally, I’m not attracted to you at all. Idc how good you look.
this is how i feel about a close friend i've known for over 20 years. we're both straight men. my life would be empty without him. we've both been betrayed by women, but we're totally here for each other.
I know this feeling ahah it's hard to know what to do in this situation, you want to go for it and at the same time keep him as a friend for life
Food for thought: we live in a day and age where love and long and meaningful relationships are harder to come by. 💛
A beautiful reminder that intimacy is more than just physical.
Yeah, I am definitely emotional attractive to him. Thank you for this Psych2Go!
My lover and I really have emotional attraction, she and I both love each other for who we are 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
I really love watching Psych2Go's videos. Not only because its educational but also because of the voice actor, her voice is so realaxing.
I thought I had a deep emotional connection with someone but it turns out he already has someone else currently. Watching this video was honestly pretty painful :/
congrats psych2go for the 4 million subsrcibers, 4 million people love you
You know.. sometimes I wish I never met them. But at the same time i’m glad I do? Does that even make sense?
Yes?
Yeah I know what you mean
Me about my best friend, who I’m hopelessly in love with.
You found that at 14?!? You’re lucky! I’m way, way older than that and I’ve never found it.😔
Wow this has to be the first time I've made it before a minute has passed. Love the video even tho I haven't finished it ;3
I’m emotionally attracted to this channel- it understands me and I turn to it for advice 😏
I love this art style it’s so cute!
Thank you!!
I can't believe I managed to find someone like this
8. Sounds pretty great ngl
if you love someone through phone screens even without seeing their face and knowing anything about their personal stuffs like their age and location, it is true love right there.

Can you do a video on the differences between aesthetic attraction and physical attraction?
I can pass this down to the team
Intriguing.
I like this. Its straight to the point without the hoopla of others talking and never getting to the point--!!!
The animation is so cute I can't...
🙈thank you!
Can you do a part 2 of this? As to how to develop an emotional attraction AND if it’s mutual?
sometimes im afraid i might not feel like this ever bcuz i’m just so emotionally numb :/
Kudos to the animator I really liked the style of this video. Keep it up!
Key insights
💖 Emotional attraction is a key ingredient in making our bonds with those around us meaningful and intimate.

Random question I have, how do you know if someone crushes on you in a long distance friendship?
FR
For me, you'll know with how much time they invest in you
@@cesunyan1563 nice
Confirming that my relationship lacks substance
I’ve noticed that I feel safest with my close friend, I feel like I can say or do anything I feel in his presence cuz he’ll understand and defend me. It’s always a good time when I’m around him🥰 I love having him as my friend
Having such a good friend would help me a lot but yeah
Well I’ll be your friend if you need one.
