  • Everyone loves Fried rice. Today, I show you how to cook Authentic Japanese style Egg Fried Rice. It's kind of basic and traditional recipe. You can add proteins, or serve as a side dish. Hope you'll have a try!!

    I've been making a lot of garlic fried rice using butter, sesame seed oil, Japanese rice, garlic egg, and scallions lately. I usually put a little dark soy on it. Good for breakfast.

    Uncle Roger would be very proud of you. I don't care if he might complain about the sake. That rice was so crumbly that the steam probably helps. Australia usually has much drier air than Malaysia. :P

    just an input for additional way to prepare the rice, without storing the rice overnight in fridge, you can spread thinly the freshly cooked rice on large wide pan, blow fan from 2 hours and they are crumbly enough to be fried rice.

    Thank you Chef! For the rice if we put in freezer, how long can we keep it for? Would 3 months be possible?
