What a horse. I remember watching Frankel whenever he raced with my dad who got me into racing. Now, a decade later and I can truly enjoy these horses for how incredible they really are. Baaeed is something special and if he races Desert Crown and/or Coroebus, it could be something for the ages.
Rip coroebus, but I could’ve wrote the exact same message myself seems like history repeating itself again seeing my dad talk about baaeed as he did frankel
He seems a lovely kind natured horse who always tries is best. Bless him
1:38.08 is pretty fast for a Turf Mile in Europe. This horse's gait looks effortless... just like Flightline.
Will surely get at least 1 1/4 miles on breeding. Be great to see him v Desert Crown in the International, Champion Stakes or Irish Champion Stakes.
What a horse. A joy to watch. I wonder what connections have mapped out for him this season. Fantastic looking horse too.
This is an amazing horse
I love to watch it win 🏆
Love to see it down under for the all star mile
So lucky to be watching a great horse like him ,privileged
Stunning win on gd to firm by colt by Sea the Stars. Winning time: 1m 37.76s (fast by 0.94s) data from RP
What a beauty
Beautiful 🤩
Did it pretty easily in the end. I think the comparisons with Frankel are a bit hyperbolic, but Real world might have run a career best there and is a pretty decent miler himself. Looking forward to seeing Baaeed up to 10f, who knows he might be even better.
He looks very good but I’m not convinced he’s great yet.
In all those 8 races he’s really only beaten one truly top class horse, Palace Pier.
Still got a bit to prove for me.
Good performance against deeply inferior opponents.
I'm still not convinced and probably won't be if he sticks to mile.
think comparison with frankel is a joke
@@paulrichards6894 Its ridiculous. If he had of put a Nature Strip type performance in today, he may have convinced me more.
@@elgransenor1472 I agree, think he'll prove to be a Kingman class....not a Frankel class.
Bring him to Australia for the cox plate over 2040 metres.
High class Horse !!!.
Fantastic ...
That was another lovely performance from Baaeed, as it should have been against this opposition. The acid test will obviously come against the three year olds, but I don’t feel I’ve seen an exceptional 3yr old that’s good enough to beat him yet, although I think Coroebus is better than he looked yesterday. As for stepping up in trip, I reckon it’ll probably be next year, as he’s staying in training.
I think Vidani might give him a race over 10 furlongs.
He was very impressive in the French Derby
@@numanoid5665..Yes, he looked good in the French Derby for sure. I have a feeling they’ll stick to a mile with Baaeed this year. Let’s not forget that Desert Crown stays in training next year too I believe, so that could be a potential showdown of Champions. Let’s hope it happens.
Happy to know Baaeed is stayin’ for another Season, he’s special🔥
@@Huffy1001 is he ??? I read a few days ago that his trainer said he'd be off to study at the end of the season
Just a pity mr maktoum wasn’t here to see him . A great horse but don’t get carried away calling him the next Frankel . Maybe best miler since Frankel but will be interesting watching him rest off the year .
Wouldn’t say the best yet since . Kingman was good . But all depends what he does next . If he beats the younger generation and then beats the best at 1M 2F then I’d say he’s the best since Frankel . Still got to win those next 2 races .
I honestly think he’d win a July cup . And should definitely get a Mile and 2F . His full brother got a mile 4F recently .
The jockey does not hit him. Like it! Amazing horse
Superb 👏👏👏
Video çekimi süper Süper siniz kılıp muhteşem 🙋♀️⚘👏
Un amore di cavallo un porta fortuna
Good win
Best miler since Frankel . Will win Sussex Stakes if he contests it .
He is a very good horse don't get me wrong but still has a way to go to become a great. He did exactly what he had to do against inferior rivals but the second who is no world beater actually was beaten further and easier by him in the Lockinge on their previous run.
A few things to remember, Frankel at the end of his two year old season was officially rated 126 whilst Baaeed is currently on 125 as a 4yr old! Frankel's Queen Anne win (on good to soft ground) was timed at 1m37.85sec compared to Baaeed's 1m37.76sec on good to firm ground - Frankel was clocked running the 3rd last furlong at 10.58sec which was a faster furlong than any of the sprinters could clock in the 5F King's Stand Stakes later that day.
Frankel's 5 starts in his 4 yr old season saw him run to official ratings of 136, 138, 140, 140 & 140 - Baaeed has yet to break 125. Comparing him or even mentioning him in the same breathe as Frankel at this stage is an utter joke.
Frankel was the best yes, but let’s be honest Baaeed isn’t a 125 horse and Real World isn’t a 118 horse, all the ratings prove for the latter is that they would be well in, in a handicap. I mean Palace Pier was on 127 and he lost to Baaeed.
126 not 127
Good to soft ,good to firm ,where ? Where is important.
@@xiaoyueyang5466 I was referring to their respective Queen Anne runs
Nearest I've seen to a frankelesque performer since the great one retired.
My only winner of the day giddy uppaaaa
Would there be any downside, to adding just a few seconds at the beginning of the clip, so the full betting was shown...?
Amazing Baaeed ❤️
With the good to firm ground I'd have thought Baaeed would've beaten Ribchester's 1mile course record.
Why?
Would never beat Frankel but he was a brilliant horse
Never knock a good one cos u dnt know wen the next one will come along
Tbh side by side on the same ground Real World beats Palace Pier and most horses finish where they did last time.
Baaeed won hands and heels not asked a question, has to be considered an impressive performance and we probably have a very good second horse who deserves more respect than he gets.
Agreed! Real world just unlucky having to come up against a superstar
Real World w/o winner ✅
No he should ho to the Sussex then juddmonte then champion.stakes skip the qe II cup
Won cosily enough and also a big run from the second... fancied real world to finish closer without winning.
So did I. The horse settled better today although still slightly keen early on maybe. I fancied it to finish a lot closer without winning and if I owned the horse I wouldn’t have gone into battle today over a mile. I would’ve waited for a G1 over 10F because as good a miler as it is, Baaeed is the best miler In the world and Real World will look better over further if it can settle, or maybe drop it in close up. Real World is very unlucky Baaeed is around because it’d be star over a mile. For what it’s worth I think it’s the best 10f horse in Europe with Bay Bridge. Two very exciting animals
@@goonervillegonad3662 They’ve kept him at a mile because Baaeed is going 1m2
G1s to be had at Longchamp at 1m and maybe Sussex if Baaeed doesn’t go, then the QEII
@@michaelford8876 I think it’s a hell of a match over 10F. I’d be happy to see Real World dodge Baaeed though. The horse deserves some big prizes
@@goonervillegonad3662 There is talk of Baeed stepping up to 10 furlongs.. Would love to see Real World take on Baeed over that trip in a truely run race. RW looks like he is screaming out for further, but as you rightly point out, settling is his problem.
@@MI-nw8uo I’ve seen yesterdays race a few times now and to be honest, as much speed as Real World shows, it only really looks to be getting going after 8 furlongs. The horse looks like it will run on at that pace for much longer.
Hes v good top class miler....maybe same as kingsman....but never or ever will have that wow factor or power of the mighty frankel...Rip HRA
Bu nasıl tay maşallah
Everyone wants to see Desert Crown vs BAAEED in the King George !
I wanna see baaeed coroebus !
@@JPwhoknows will bring them closer together with the 3yo allowance
@@JPwhoknows I was a little disappointed with Coroebus today.
@@nightowl7459 same I thought he should of got beat really.
@@JPwhoknows I just think it was a very messy race, I'm not sure if ground conditions played any part, I did notice that when he got beat in the Lodge it was good to firm ground, I don't know how firm it was today? But I thought he quickened well when the gap opened, but a messy affair non the less and quite inconclusive?
I see RM is up to his old tactics of choosing the wrong side to run on. Not that it mattered for the win, but still.
Glad someone else noticed that!
David Turco:
You take a horse were you believe the ground will suit them best.
Magnífico. Brazil.
Stamp of a super horse
Shame mooather got injured the Tregoning horse he would of been an exceptional five year old.
Thought Real World ran an amazing race, maybe Homeless Songs is the only other horse that might beat him but she’d need the ground in her favour.
Only coroebus could beat baaeed but even then I think baaeed will remain unbeaten
Homeless songs getting the mares allowance would make it interesting or a pace maker for real world to tow em into the race 5 lenghts at Newbury 2 1/2 lenghts today
@@JPwhoknows I think Baaeed would smoke Coroebus. Think Maljoom was really unlucky not to have won that St James. There’s a lot of chat about Coroebus but I don’t think he’s as good as people think.
@@chimpzilla naaa I’m the same. Think Baaeed is the real deal, think Coroebus will be exposed soon enough, hope them two clash.
@@JPwhoknows Me too, will be great to watch!
I’d give him a look at the Knavesmire in the 10f G2 at the end of July instead of the Sussex before going into the Juddmonte
Why not the eclipse he never even got out first gear there
Why would they go for a group 2. Dont talk silly
Nature Strip.....
@@knowtheway7354 what you on about
@@JPwhoknows Baaeed!Champ
Strip...Champ....Senor Always relegates the OZ Horses....thats all...Winx Champ...Sure wouldn't have dominated in UK...But great The Strip delivered👍
FLIGHTLINE ✈️ 🇺🇲 THE BEST HORSE IN THE WORLD BY FAR 🤫
And again so many wanted to see this great horse lose since the number of punts laying was more than tht of backing
And then came undone on his last few runs. Too protected over in the UK.
This horse will get 10F running backwards, and may end up being even more lethal over the longer trip, IMO.
I’d give him a look at York in the 10f G2 at the end of July instead of the Sussex before going into the Juddmonte
if he is going to be a star think it will be at 10f....if he stays at a mile he will get beat....he relaxes so well 10f or even 12f could suit
@@elgransenor1472 he'd have loads of penalties why would he run in that
@@elgransenor1472 don't be silly
If he steps up in trip this season, it’ll be in the Juddmonte or the Champions Stakes, but I reckon he’ll be sticking to a mile & will probably step up next year, as the plan is to keep him in training.
Don't get this bs to be a potential world class horse you have to win by a distance everytime. It's in his blood that he will only ever do enough. Would like to see him up against Maljoom and Native trail to see how good he actually is
Why do you have to win by a distance everytime? Didn’t even need to switch into second gear and smoked the field.
He is a world class horse
But people are talking about greatness
He has much more to do for me to reach greatness
Beating PP by 1/4 and Real World and Order of Australia is good.
Needs to beat some better horses for me at this stage.
He probably can and probably will but I want to see it.
@@chimpzilla that's what I'm basically saying
@@elgransenor1472 Agree people are going way over the top about how good he already is without bting proper G1 horses. He's top class yes is he Elite? Not on what he's bt so far but the potential is there
What's wrong with being a great miler? his Queen Anne's time was faster than Frankel's runaway victory. Baaeed had correctly not been asked to do more by Jim Crowley and risk injury on the good to firm ground and save him energy wise for future races. Poor Star Safari was not so lucky in a later race. The Saint James's Palace winner Coreubus had a slower time than Baaeed. Desert Prince probably won't be fast enough to beat Baaeed in The International Stakes at York over 1 1/4 miles. I'm sure Baaeed will stay that distance.
Like baaeed a lot and he’s a very good horse, but this wasn’t a great performance from him. Everyone is saying spectacular etc but it really wasn’t. He won by less than 2 lengths. He should have cleared right away. Maybe the ground was too firm for him. Let’s see him line up in the juddmonte now, hopefully he will race some real horses there and not this terrible bunch of milers!
GORE D what a load of tosh ur spourting
Lmao omg
Are you serious he won easy as you like and didn’t even get into any top gear? The 2nd horse stayed on well for pressure .
Gore d...ru having a laugh..so ur an expert then..silly man
Another with nothing between the ears
@@rhysdavis6447 he was in top gear and didn’t pull away, simple.
The new Frankel
No
Which one of these is Bullet Train, or does this guy just play the cards as dealt?
about 25 pound behind frankel
@@tw9535 What do you mean? Having a pacemaker is good, at least you don't get six furlong horses winning mile races.
@@paulrichards6894 ..There’s no way Frankel would have given this horse 25 lbs & beaten him. Frankel is probably the greatest miler ever, but let’s not get totally carried away.
Easy win. Next test Group 2 over 10 furlongs.
Don't be ridiculous
Group 2 ? More like straight into group 1 . I very much doubt you’ll see him other than the Sussex then the judgemont.
@@johnsonkevin1 how’s that ridiculous
@@JPwhoknows After winning 4 group 1s on the bounce would you drop your horse into a group 2??
No. Of course not
@@johnsonkevin1 because it’s stepping up in trip??? Not just gonna jump straight into a hot race on his first go at 10f is he
Virtually empty stands and enclosures. Sad that such a performance went relatively unheeded. Cost of living crisis must be biting.
Iskra Jackal? The grass restaurants and bars and terraces absolutely packed...........
@@sarahjones-jf4pr Fair enough. Couldn't spot that from first viewing of video. Must be modern trend as it used to be the rails that were packed. Guess people want to dine as they watch. Hope you enjoy the festival 👍
He will lose against west over
Nah.
Nothing special
he's good but not a frankel
totally agree...we have seen him enough times to know he is no superstar
As a new lover of this sport and my second season watching Uk racing and ofcourse having heard so much about Frankel, why is everyone saying that bAaed isn't even close to Frankel ? Like for me as a layman ofcourse I would look at the time but then when I watch videos of Frankel I somewhat feel Frankel was never even tested except one or two times at Max so then based on what would we have to conclude that bAaed isn't even close to Frankel ?
@@paulrichards6894 So there can be no superstars bar Frankel?
I’d put Baaeed the best since he left or at least on par with Kingman.
