Jamie’s spencer was sat on the side of stalls sorting something out and the starter let them go…thats why golden pal missed break because jockey was turning around to see what was going on not that it made a different for golden pal

The jockey was sitting on the back gate of the stall because of some problem caused by his mount when the race got underway before he got ready. Eventually that horse was declared as a non-runner.
If the rider had switched to the outside on the turn instead of riding for luck that probably would have made the difference considering how long he was held up. Hopefully they have a shot at the Sussex.

Race 3 ... 2nd place was 1/2 a head from proving that many mounts don't need a rider. That was epic! Hahahaha. (Hope the 2-legged wasn't injured...)
