The guy filling in absolutely RIPPED and added some great new additional Turnstile licks throughout… Still miss Brady! Hope he’s well.
loved the energy
He’s the guitarist for Take Offense from Chula Vista. That band is severely underrated.
What happened to Brady?
@Revel Y. Ian Drumming still in the band he just wanted to take a break from touring he has other stuff going on.
Not going to lie. Until I read this comment the sun glasses were my only like "wait what?: This guy absolutely kills. So on point
I’m SO jealous of anyone caught these guys in their underground. They deserve their recognition and hope they blow up stadiums world wide!
It's so strange to see Turnstile play live without people killing each other in the crowd.
IT's called "selling out" :D Now they sound like Sum 41 meets Nirvana :/
@@_MANASYt yawn. Imagine being so mad at a band for pushing boundaries in an already pretty loose and ruleless genre that you take the time to look up one of their shows just to. Just relax and have fun, most bands and fans in the scene love what turnstile is doing.
@@sleepygary2806 The music business powers-that-be want their target demographic to chill out and see if this style does just that. There are rules. The new sound ain't bad, though, if not interesting.
@@_MANASYt fuck that....who wouldn't sell out in this day and age. Make money for your family, have fun.
I was at their show on Sunday and people were trying to kill each other in the crowd
This is a band that will never have a chance with a new singer. Dude is his own thing, for sure. Wow. Fascinating band.
The band is great dude, they have awesome chemistry. But yeah that's a frontman that definitely won't be easy to replace
@@rugoshath What do you mean replace :0 what did I miss
@@hazeymedia401 I think they were just saying that in general. Fear not, you've not missed anything my friend
Hardcore Jim Morrison
@@bobunitonebetter version of Jim Morrison
COME TO BANDUNG, INDONESIA. WE ARE READY FOR YOU COMING HERE.....
So proud of this band
Bass sounds fucking sick
Toootally agree!
Always does 💪🏼
i remember seeing Turnstile with Bane in Portland in 2014, and it's insane to see how big they are now. totally deserved though, super fresh take on hardcore
I found out about them last year and i swear to god it's the best thing that's happened to me
It's a fresh take on hardcore because it isn't hardcore lol
Same for me but some how they don't belong on a Stage like this. Don´t get me wrong they deserved it in a way of work and their Amazing Music. But somehow for me Hardcore Bands are Connected to sweaty Clubs with a short distance between them and us .... Scott Vogel said something like "We hate those High Stages, it makes you feel like something better. You made us and we are still one of all you mother fuckers. We Want to be on your level. This is where we belong"
same
@@americand0lphin How is it not hardcore?
Damn, never thought I'd see Frusciante and Kiedis playing axes for a modern hardcore band.
I got that. Funny.
Definitely thought he looked like Frusciante but didn’t think the other looked like Kiedis until you said it 😂
Haha, the fill in guitarist is copy of Frusciante!
@@genefrankle1 yeah man. a metal clone of his. 😂
And I never thought I’d see Todd Howard on vocals but here we are lol
OMG what a band. So much love from a HUGE fan from Bosnia🇧🇦. I've heard their song for the first time in 2018. Fell in love immediately.
The bass sounds absolutely brutal!
Love that they keep adding new songs to their set🙌🏽
I saw these guys while touring for Nonstop Feeling. Holy cow they took over!
Latinoamérica loves Turnstile and they GOT it already...
Being a fan of Turnstile since "7" came out makes me feel like a proud dad when I see them now. And I know that feeling, cause I'm a proud dad.
Thank you for sharing! Obrigado por compartilhar
Major respect that they've kept song or two from Step 2 Rhythm in the setlist; I personally think that EP is their best work
Pressure to succeed slapped so hard when it dropped. The holy mountain homage was also very tight but fuck that movie. Atleast 3 days of hard bad luck everytime I put it on.
It’s beautiful
Canned Heat is one my favorite songs, glad its a mainstay in their live shows
Say you love it but "best" work is very dismissive of their monumental achievement with this latest LP.
def not the hc band they use to be but the way they grew as musicians is so fucking cool. Its insane to see them on late night shows and festivals like this. I hope there's a lot more to come from them! Pressure to succeed and Step 2 Rhythm are classics no matter how you look at it tho!
I love that turnstile I’d getting more well known but you can’t ever beat their shows during Step to Rhythm or Nonstop Feeling records
Yeah seeing a set list without 7/Keep It Moving is strange
@@kefs123 literally! started listening to them in the eight grade when step to rhythm came out, attended a couple of their shows in the bay area while growing up, back when their tickets were only $15. turnstile tribe 4 life though! :)
i love this band so much
i love how they don't play to a click, and how they play different sections of the new songs with different tempos, some times faster, sometimes slower. something i love to see with live bands. they're so tight together (i guess that comes with years of playing together, developing your own internal tempo habitat)
What the fuck is a tempo habitat?
@@UndercoverRat i think within the context of what's being said, it's pretty self-explanatory.
@@UndercoverRat it's a place where all the Tempos hang out when it's raining. Doh.
@@martinmcfred6758 ok Mcfriend
Such a solid band always enjoyed their music probably always will 🔥🔥🔥🔥
the audio is quite good man! ty for the upload
There's always such a great energy at their performances I can't wait to see them live
What an absolute UNIT of a band.🔥
I don't know why, but IMO the vibes of turnstile are much felt on small gigs, with the crowd who's stage diving, jumping everywhere. but I keep supporting turnstile to go out of the country with many new fans who's has loved their songs
I mean of course nothing will beat the intimacy of their earlier shows, but it’s a natural progression for the band to do bigger shows even though I agree
Honestly bands like this are far more sutied for smaller venues. Sadly its gonna be harder for them to do smaller shows now since they are blowing up like crazy.
i agree. but a lot of bands play festivals like this. it's not unusual. i'm sure they'll be back in dingy clubs soon. unless they completley abandon the hardcore/punk style for a more radio friendly sound. which would suck. glown on is a kick ass record but i'm only if i'm baked. which i kinda always am lol.
but i agree. it just seems off in a big place with security and barricades. but i mean it's lollapooza. this is a big deal for a lot of bands. they deserve this. glown on is great but i'd like to see em go to back punk/hardcore for a couple songs. tlc tho
This goes for literally any band that isn't some huge pop act. I always hated festivals for that exact reason.
AMO ♡
this makes me happy, I saw them back in 2019 at a free show in a tiny park in Baltimore and they're huge. It's been cool to see a band grow so much
Less go
Greg Cerwanka the guy filling in on lead guitar for Brady absolutely killed it here!
First time listening to this band. Definitely a special sound.
🙌
Check the hate5six concert that one has an amazing sound, you're gonna love em
Awesomeness Turnstile on getting a Lolapalooza Brazil show!
28:43 when your favorite song starts playing
Turnstile nailed it! So glad to see them hitting the big time. Followed my boys for about 4 years now, and finally I have to not be stingy and share them with the world.
These boys are killer! 🤘🏼
increible grupo
chills
“Let the spotlight shine on meeeee !!!! “
🤘🏻🤘🏻
From shows getting shut down to playing some of the biggest stages. Truly bringing hardcore and rock in general back with fashion.
I love Turnstile and I also love the fact they're getting the attention they deserve rn but I actually prefer them playing smaller stages like clubs, just a completely different vibe if the band is so far away from the crowd..
The mix on this sucks too
Yeah it's always like that when a band you've been following for a long time and seen play smaller gigs. Always a a weird change when they get big. But they deserve to blow up, they've been ahead of the curve for a long while and produce some really good tunes, they earned to blow up. Gonna be interesting to see the new fanbase.
Agreed, Grey Day got postponed in Houston and they performed on the original date at a much smaller venue and it was PACKED but the funnest show I’ve ever been to. It felt so raw even though Glow on had come out months prior and they were already playing in huge music halls and lawns
Yeah, such a paradox. You discover a band, think they should be huge, but then miss the intimate beginning.
I little bit of both is good in their own ways. I prefer smaller club shows too but on the upside, them playing bigger shows like this helps broaden their fan base. That way next time they play smaller shows they’ll probably be more packed and that always adds to the fun of it
God, how much I love Turnstile. Such a legend!
Dude looks like John Frusciante in 80's playin' for D.R.I
Holy shit he does look like Frusciante
Great observation
His dancing gonna be iconic
Mil respetos para el público brasilero
This is so sick to see how much cool stuff this band has done and continues to do
I smile and laugh every time I hear the intro to Mystery now that I’ve heard it live.
Turnstile GOD ♡♡♡♡
Iconic
thats sick
Hello from Pamplona, obrigado
This band is incredible. I hope they become very successful. They put everything into their performance . Awesome 👌
Turnstile Rock.
🔥🔥🔥
holy fuck those drums sound insane
Nice to see them still playing songs from S2R &P2S
Blitz ❤️
🔥
I knew I should've bought those $5 tickets in Philly.
Faxed out is some heavy ass metal 🤘🏼
The bass sound is great on this performance 👏 especially on Blackout
Haha, yes, it´s way too loud^^
Joking right? It's out of tune
DAmn!!!
They came to Brazil
Those drums.
That RL bass shroud is sick!
Aguanten los pibes , Argentina
these dudes have such a good sound and have come a long way, but man nothing will beat the step2rhythm days. that crowd is killing me lmao
I mean I wasn’t aware of this band back then but I went to their show 6 months ago in Dallas at a small ish venue and people were still moshing and crowd surfing the whole time. It’s probably security’s fault at this show.
Sick bass tone!
young todd howard is killing it with stage presence
The gentleman filling in is a very, very good guitar player.
Brady is in another stratosphere though.
He is missed.
Did he leave? Im out of the loop?
@@yakiv6604 I have no real idea what's happened, but below in the comments some people said that he wanted a break from touring and has some personal stuff going on.
I hope he is well and comes back soon.
Touring can be such a drag
Greg from Take Offense!
How? Theyre just playing power chords lol
damn man todd howard is a great singer!
Mah dude, This is solid excuse for FO76.
“Singer” lol. This is not singing in the slightest. Reminds me of yoko ono’s yodeling.
@@nathandrums0 you like Phil Collins I assume.
@@nathandrums0 Tell me who you think is a good singer.
@@martinmcfred6758 to be honest? Not really. I was never big on genesis. There’s a huge list of people who actually sing that are far better than this guys “vocals.”
These guys are music 🤙

I love that this band is blowing up. Also hope they don't drop generator from the setlist I love that song.

Selamat menjalankan ibadah puasa buat teman-teman yang melaksanakan..
Fucking wild y’all got so huge. Love to see it.
Franz’s bass is MEGA here
Fuck I can’t wait to see them at lolla in July
Also the best MOON has sounded!
Moon goes hard af live especially when they did knotfest last year
@@DopeMaster-uv9cz I need to watch that one again, for sure!
It would be sick for this to be a live album release!

Honestly thought that dude was a guitar tech that just didn't leave the stage.
🥰
Bassist: I don’t think I’m cutting through the mix
Rest of the band: um…
Like a brick through a window
First time listening to this band. Not sure what this is or if I like it, but I kept listening...
How loud you guys want the bass in the mix? Yes.
and the vocals dude😂 vocals are always waay up
The bass got much louder after they got his sound cut out for a song. I wonder they heard that in the mix
@@EXZACHTLYWRIGHT hahaha I didn't notice that! at 8:38 he's like "I'll show you to cut me out!". From that point on its bass in yo face!
the turnstile X take offense love connection
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
bass on point but this crazy i like it
